Are you an HSP - a highly sensitive person?
Have you been told that you're too sensitive, should grow a thicker skin or that you over react? I have.  And each time I heard those words it was hurtful.  It made me question myself and feel that I was at fault; that something was wrong with me. Until I learnt more about trauma and how it affects the way we react.
