This week I sat down with R&B artist J’Versatile. He opened up about his relationship with his father and also his musical journey. In the beginning, his father was not as supportive as he would have liked, however through hard work, dedication, and faith in his passion he was able to outrank one of his father's favorite artists on the iTunes top 200 list. 

This week I had the pleasure of sitting down with one of my favorite MCs FNX. His flow and sound are amazing but most impressive are his lyrical wordplay and storytelling. Not only is he an amazing artist he is an amazing person and community activist. Through his art, he established ad charitable organization that provides food to those in need. During our conversation, he talks about his music and everything he has been able to do for his music because of it.

Sat down with my long-time friend Eber Azana. IT was such a pleasure catching up and discussing the ups and downs he had in his life. He spoke openly about how he discovered his bisexuality, coming out to his family, and Paid homage, and discussed the impact of his role model Virgil Abloh. Eber's story is a tale of how not living one's true self can lead to such sadness but when you find and live your truth how much happiness comes with it.

Growing up he was always looking out for us growing up making sure we stayed on the right path. The weekend I sit with Stamford artist Brandon "Doss" Docimo. He shares how much his father means to him and everything that he has taught him over the years. He also opens up about his traumatic experience with the mother of his child when she refused to give back their daughter after a visit that now has led to a custody battle. 

This week I sit down with the Warrior himself, the man behind "GRRRRIER Apparel" Joel Guerrier. Joel shared his views on the qualities and characteristics that helped him grow into the man he is today. We discussed the challenges differences between raising young men and women and what values we find important to teach them. Joel also share the story behind his brand and how he turned his idea into reality.  

This week I sat down with my long-time friend Ivans "ICE" Maignan. Just as many of us struggled to find himself and what his place in the world was. With the help of his many Uncles and Wife, he was able to accomplish the goal of becoming an amazing Barber. Ice the barber now owns and operates Supreme Cuts located at 60 Main St Norwalk, CT. During our conversation, he shared some of his struggles what he did to overcome life's pitfalls and obstacles. 

This week I speak with the host of "D is for Dyslexia and Defying all odds" Dylan Smith. At just  20 years old this young man's mindset has him leaps and bounds ahead of his peers. From being abandoned in a hotel room with his twin brother as infants to now hosting his podcast and soon to become a best seller. Dylan is living proof that a strong mindset will help you accomplish all of your dreams and goals. He is an inspirational role model and he is just getting started.

This week I was blessed to sit with the man behind the #1 International Best Selling Book "365 Hip-Hop Daily Motivational Quotes" Mr. Young Exekutive "King" Carl Michel. Carl has also helped 33 other books become best sellers and he is the founder and owner of the Home of many Creatives and Podcaster's like myself, The Royal Communication Center. In our conversation, he shares his story on how he has been able to accomplish so many accolades. Carl also created the Youth Empowerment Program where he inspires and brings so much positivity to the next generation of Kings and Queens. It is an absolute pleasure to speak and work alongside you.

In this episode, I caught up with a long-time friend and now First Sgt Dan Welton. We talked about how amazing his father was with me and all of Dan's friends. Sgt Welton shared some very meaningful moments he shared with his father and how that helped shape him into to man he is today. He also shared a few of the difficulties of being a military dad and the things he does in order to be there for his wife and kids.

In this episode get to speak with Steve Lorrius. Steve is a master sprinter and has represented his country on Hati in international competitions. During our conversation expressed how confidence played a major role in his life and helped him achieve many of his goals. Steve shared his life journey and the many opportunities sprinting has provided him, including the chance to train with Usain Bolt. Steve is currently on a mission to break 30mph and with his ambition and confidence that will soon be a reality.

I spoke with my friend Rich Talcik who shares a bit from his time in the Marine infantry. He explains what lead him to join and some of the benefits he got out of it. He also opens about his relationship with his father and how that has helped him in raising his 3 boys. As if raising 3 boys isn't hard enough, he has to co-parent with his oldest, so he provides some insight on what that is like and some advice to try to make it a bit more manageable for those in the same situation.

Today I spoke with the Founder and CEO of Proud Puffs Cereal, the first-ever black-owned cereal brand. I have Know Nic for some time and he has a great head on his shoulders and relentless motivation. During the Pandemic and at the height of racial tension, Nic made a bold move and launched Proud Puffs cereal. A way to give our community something to be Proud of and get behind. During our conversation, he shares his view on what it takes to be a great man and how those characteristics lead him to make HISTORY!!

This week I had the pleasure to speak with Sgt. James Lofton a detective with Stratford PD for the past 27 years. We talk about the divide between the community and law enforcement and the things he and other officers are doing to bridge the gap. He discusses the Police Engagement Program and how it creates an open environment where the public can speak with officers and voice their concerns and ideas on how to create positive interactions when in the field. We also touch on the Police Activities League and how it helps our young men and women find positive outlets and growth. 

I got to sit with a long-time friend who was there for me in my darkest days over these past few years. He shared his insight on Hardwork and the importance of really enjoying life and doing the things that make you happy. He learned these things from his father who despite his ailments he did everything to show his family how to never give up and enjoy life. 

I spoke with Ex-Airforce and Father of 3 Dominique Lewis, who shared what life was like without his father and how he had to learn to come into manhood. Fortunate enough to have two very strong mentors that helped guide him down the right path. Dom shares some very personal stories about the ups and downs in his life and what he took away from them to help mold him into the amazing man he is today.

This Saturday I sat down with CT's sensational R&B artist JDelice. He expressed how confidence played a role in his success as an R&B artist, he provided insight on how and where he established it. He also shared how through sports he learned discipline and how important it is in all aspects of life.
