Episode 45 | 2021 NHL Draft Special
In this episode Mack transitions the show to Brian Munz who will be the new host of ICE Breaker Show.  Brian brings on four guests ahead of this years NHL Draft including Carson Lambos, Owen Pederson, Mikey Milne and Gage Alexander.  Defenseman Carson Lambos is the highest ranked WHL blueliner among North American skaters at number 11.  In 2019-20, the 18 year old had 32 points (8 goals and 24 assists) to lead all WHL rookie defenseman in scoring and was +20 in 57 games.  Owen Pederson is ranked 105th while left winger Mikey Milne is listed at 162, also among North American skaters.  Gage Alexander is ranked 28th among North American goaltenders.  Listen in to hear their plans for the weekend and the approach leading into next season!

Episode 34 | Rod Pedersen
The WHL has announced 3 of 4 divisions have an approved start date to begin their 24 game schedules including the East Division who houses the Winnipeg ICE.  The ICE along with six other teams will play in a hub format in Regina starting on March 12th.  Mack dives deeper into the decision and the surrounding excitement with talk show host and host of The Rod Pedersen Show, Rod Pedersen.  He is excited and offers some great inside into what to expect.  Mitch Peacock then stops by to discuss the East Division in general and the players excitement leading into this shortened season.

Episode 32 | Keith Tkachuk
In this episode Mack and AJ test out a new game towards the end of the show and AJ is in the spotlight first.  Former Winnipeg Jet player Keith Tkachuk joins make midway through the episode to relive some great times during his NHL career.  He talks about what its like to see his sons play against each other in the all Canadian division this year in the NHL as the Flames and the Senators will see a lot of each other.  Keith also chats about their draft days and the quarantine period when his boys were both back at home.  Winnipeg ICE analyst, Mitch Peacock is back at the end of the show to talk about the WHL and the announcement of the Alberta teams getting the go ahead on their 24 game season plus much more about the Winnipeg ICE!

WE ARE BACK! First episode of 2021 and we're kicking it off with iconic sports figure Eddie Olczyk.  Eddie played in the NHL for a number of teams including the Winnipeg Jets and was a member of the Stanley Cup Winning New York Rangers.  Now he works as the colour broadcaster on NBC.  We talk about his playing career and some great stories that come with that as well as working along side legendary broadcaster Doc Emrick for 14 years.  Eddie chats about his battle with cancer, his book and plenty more memorable moments in his career around the National Hockey League.

Episode 30 | Brendan O'Donnell
In this episode, Mack is joined by professional hockey player Brendan O'Donnell.  Brendan grew up in Winnipeg and played for the Winnipeg Blues of the MJHL prior to extending his career at the University of North Dakota.  After that, Brendan played in the ECHL in Florida and has a stint in the AHL prior to taking his career to Europe where he currently is playing.  He discusses his time playing on Jaromir Jagr's team and some great stories from his experiences.  This is the final episode of ICE Breaker in 2020, we look forward to talking to you in the new year!

Episode 24 | Nigel Dawes
Mack is joined by ICE Franchise leading goal scorer and KHL legend, Nigel Dawes.  Nigel played 212 games in the NHL, 232 games in the AHL, and now has played 510 games in the KHL.  Nigel was part of the 03-04 and 04-05 Canadian World Junior Teams.  Nigel talks about the World Juniors in 04-05 being the highlight of his hockey career as well as being apart of the Memorial Cup-winning ICE team to start his WHL career.  He also talks about his first NHL goal and game and the transition to the KHL.

In this episode, Mack is joined by former Canadian Women's National Team Head Coach Mel Davidson.  Mel spent time as the head coach, assistant coach, general manager, and head scout of the Canadian Women's National Team while with Hockey Canada.  During her time she won 4 Olympic Gold Medals and 5 World Championships.  Mel talks about the Olympics and how far women's hockey has come over the last 30 years.  She talks about what she is doing now with Own the Podium as well as what she is doing with the Winnipeg ICE of the Western Hockey League.

In this episode, Mack is joined by Central Scouting ranked players Connor McClennon, Owen Pederson, and Ben Zloty ahead of the 2020 NHL Draft that takes place next week.  They players chat about their mindset leading into the draft and some advice they have received prior to the day.  Later in the episode, Mack is joined by Mitch Peacock, the play-by-play announcer for the Winnipeg ICE who had the chance to watch all three of these players all year long.  Mitch chats about the players on-ice talent but also the young men they are off the ice.
