Episode 23 | Conor Geekie & Matt Savoie
In this episode of ICE Breaker, Mack is joined by former first and second overall picks in the Western Hockey League Draft Matt Savoie and Conor Geekie.  Conor is currently suiting up for the MJHL's Virden Oil Capitals and Matt is playing for the AJHL's Sherwood Park Crusaders.  Both players talk about making the jump to a full-time spot in the WHL this season as well as how great it is to be back playing hockey!

Episode 22 | Mel Davidson
In this episode, Mack is joined by former Canadian Women's National Team Head Coach Mel Davidson.  Mel spent time as the head coach, assistant coach, general manager, and head scout of the Canadian Women's National Team while with Hockey Canada.  During her time she won 4 Olympic Gold Medals and 5 World Championships.  Mel talks about the Olympics and how far women's hockey has come over the last 30 years.  She talks about what she is doing now with Own the Podium as well as what she is doing with the Winnipeg ICE of the Western Hockey League.

Episode 21 | Jim Montgomery
In this episode, Mack is joined by former Dallas Stars Head Coach and current St. Louis Blues Assistant Coach Jim Montgomery or 'Monty' as he's known by.  Monty talks about his lengthy playing career after being undrafted.  He talks about the perseverance it takes and how if you don't get drafted it's still the beginning of a long road.  He then goes into his coaching career and how it started along with the highs and lows that go with it.

Episode 20 | NHL Draft Special
In this episode, Mack is joined by Central Scouting ranked players Connor McClennon, Owen Pederson, and Ben Zloty ahead of the 2020 NHL Draft that takes place next week.  They players chat about their mindset leading into the draft and some advice they have received prior to the day.  Later in the episode, Mack is joined by Mitch Peacock, the play-by-play announcer for the Winnipeg ICE who had the chance to watch all three of these players all year long.  Mitch chats about the players on-ice talent but also the young men they are off the ice.

In this episode, Mack is joined by Winnipeg ICE Scout Ryan Guenter.  Prior to joining the ICE, Ryan was a long-time scout for the Victoria Royals organization including two years as the team's Head Scout.  Ryan also has his master's degree in sports psychology that he uses to help develop and talk to young athletes who are working their way to the next level.  Tune in for some in-depth conversation about what it takes to move onto the next level.

We are joined by Calvin Pickard who plays for the Detroit Red Wings (NHL) and Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL).  Calvin grew up and played in the Winnipeg Minor Hockey system before becoming the starting goaltender for the Seattle Thunderbirds in the WHL at just 16 years old.  He was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2nd round of the 2010 NHL Draft.  We talk about his first start, his path to the NHL, his WHL days and much more in this in depth interview with the man behind the mask.
