American Christians are problem solvers and spiritual formation is not a problem to be solved. It’s a journey that never ends. Spiritual formation is a matter of trying new things and failure and learning and growing. Each day is an opportunity to grow and try something different on your journey to spiritual growth
Spiritual formation in the tradition of Jesus Christ is the process of transformation of the inmost dimension of the human being, the heart, which is the same as the spirit or will. It is being formed (really, transformed) in such a way that its natural expression comes to be the deeds of Christ done in the power of Christ.- Dallas Willard.
No pope, Bible, quote, psychological technique, book, guru can do your journey for you. - Rachard Rohr
