Wellness. Wisdom. Wonder. This is what we find when we look within.
Yet, in today's world, it's easy to become distracted by what's around us. Azriela Jankovic, a passionate educator and coach, interviews a myriad of experts who believe in our power to persist in the face of challenges, and spread light in this world when faced with darkness.
This is the place for expert advice to enhance your life.
Within Us waters and nurtures the seeds of joy, purpose, and spiritual connection that you have been naturally endowed with.
Awaken in any moment, an opportunity to begin anew.
Our guest today, Kim Cavallo, asks us the following question:
“What is it that inspires you to forget about your phone and your screens?”
Kim is a proponent of Digital Wellness. She first became aware of the problem that mobile devices presented when she found herself in the bathroom of a yoga studio reading her emails instead of pressing her hands in down dog. In between anxious impulses to check her phone, the idea for a new app was born.
With her 25 years experience raising money and connecting people to non-profit causes, Kim began to focus on how to encourage those around her to put away their phones and be in the moment.
Kim’s work is positioned at the center of mindfulness and social impact, developing mutually beneficial, strategic partnerships between businesses and non-profit organizations. When Kim puts away her phone, she loves to spend time with her husband + 2 adult sons, doing yoga and traveling.

He is also the author of "Living in the Presence: A Jewish Mindfulness Guide for Everyday Life," a work designed to provide a practical roadmap to the discovery of purpose.
Drawing from religious and mystical texts, this book and the conversation around this book brings forth universal insights for how to live with more wellness, happiness, and presence.

Torah, also known as 'The Five Books of Moses' and its related writings, or 'The Old Testament,' is the best selling book of all time and one of the most influential documents in human history. The original Hebrew texts are largely studied in Jewish circles.
There are a small number of individuals from within the Jewish tradition who are inspired about sharing sacred Torah teachings with the world at large. One of these individuals, a woman based in Israel and a leader in this growing movement of sharing Torah with the world, believes that the texts of the Torah have universal significance.
Today, she joins us to share a bit about what inspires her to teach Torah to diverse audiences.

Which one is a bigger miracle?
Holding a 1,000 pound rock over your head for a minute, or holding that same rock over your head for a thousand years?
It is easy to walk through life without noticing the miracle that we are living in - the miracle that we are - each one of us.
However, in noticing the miracles, we will come to experience more of them. And sometimes, they are pretty mind-boggling.
This episode features a story from Azi's new book, 'Beyond All Things: Insights to Awaken Joy, Purpose, and Spiritual Connection,' about a miracle that happened to her in 2003 while she was on a quest for answers in the holy city of Jerusalem.
An unlikely answer came in a very unlikely way... and in doing so, opened her eyes to what miracles are and how to experience more of them.
Enjoy this episode, and feel free to send in your very own miracle story by way of voice message on anchor.fm/drazriela or by visiting azrielajankovic.com and sending in a personal note.

A quick overview on the concept of masterminding - creating a space to share knowledge. We are surrounded by people who know things that we do not. In business, relationships, and in personal growth, strategically sharing knowledge can enhance our experiences. On the flip side, it’s easy to forget what we know, or even to ‘sit’ on our knowledge. This format of learning/ collaboration is a method for contributing and giving back.
Mariam speaks with Azriela about how we can live happier. She shares a bit about her background and growing up in a supportive, take-action, and athletic family, and how that planted the seeds for her positive outlook on life. Inspired by sports and spirituality, Mariam explains how visualization and practical meditation tools assist her in daily living, as well as how we can utilize these tools for our own well being.
As a wellness coach, Mariam teaches strategies for positive thinking, including the ‘A-B-C’ method of thinking, which has the capacity to stop negative thinking in its tracks.

At the end of the episode, Azriela speaks about her current project supporting professionals and creatives with masterminding and accountability groups. This episode, a short insight inspired by the weekly portion of guidance, provides insights about how to live inspired, with purpose, and aligned with our highest selves.
While the biblical account of creation as told in the Torah (Hebrew for 'Guidance') can be read as a story, in contemplating the deeper meanings and lessons within the story we can gain great insight.
We live in a time of more material abundance than ever, but as Rebekah Saltzman explains, our stuff may be making us work too hard. How can we own our stuff without letting it own us? Simplify our lives to free up our time? Make our spaces easy and enjoyable to inhabit?
In this episode, Rebekah and Azi explore all of this and more.

In this talk, Azriela reflects on the concept from King Solomon that “Gentle words of the wise are heard but a harsh word stirs up anger.”
She shares two challenges that were brought to her for consultation - the first from a teacher struggling to manage and control a classroom, and the second from a parent challenged by two very common parenting issues with children of all ages.
Azriela explains the idea of 'positive discipline,' and how in maintaining one's own sense of presence and calm, we can lead more powerfully in any context. She draws upon her research of relational management, grounded in positive psychology, to help both the teacher and the parent shift a focus on the positive, re-conceptualize, and re-create the situations.
Learn how to stay calm in a moment of stress by shifting focus, and learn how to influence the behavior of others by shifting your focus and energy.
Inspired by the upcoming day of Atonement on the Jewish/ Hebrew calendar, this episode introduces a teaching about Nothingness, and the power of Nothingness to help us move toward self-compassion, forgiveness, and new beginnings.
Two meditative practices are briefly introduced - these practices can be utilized in any time or space as a way to tune.
The lessons of Yom Kippur are profound - enjoy these universal ideas and practices that can bring great benefits to self and other.
In this conversation, Azriela speaks with an expert on 'life purpose,' Dr. Robin L. Owens. She shares her journey to discovering not only her own purpose, but to a place of understanding why living on purpose is just so important for everyone.
The conversation highlights specific strategies that can be used to identify one's own purpose, and to heal from feeling unfulfilled or unexpressed.
Living on purpose begins when we look for clues in our own lives - and then harness those clues in our own unique ways.
In this episode of Within All Things, Azriela speaks with a fascinating woman, Leah Aharoni, about her spiritual journey as well as two foundational ideas of the Jewish spiritual masters of centuries past.
Their Kabbalah inspired ideas are simple to remember and can revolutionize our every day lives from the moment we begin utilizing them.
Leah takes us on her life's journey from Russia, to the states and on to Israel- exploring her journey to discover a rich Jewish heritage and go on to lead unique spiritual retreats to Eastern Europe.
Learn about two core ideas that Leah believes have the potential to bring great peace and healing to anyone.

From meditation gardens, to on-the-ground research in impoverished urban schools, to spiritual institutions in Jerusalem...
This episode is an intro to our show and a bit about why host Dr. Azriela Jankovic is just so lit up about the power of belief.
Did you know that what teachers believe about their students actually influences student performance outcomes?
That what we believe about life has the capacity to alter our levels of happiness?
That cognitive psychology provides practical tools for upgrading our beliefs and that we can use them in any moment?
That ancient spirituality contains beautiful ideas that can expand our ability to experience present moment awareness and higher levels of consciousness?
Welcome to Within All Things... where the Infinite can be found.
