Over the last several months, we got to hear from Black organizers and cyclists as they shared their experiences of joy and community through cycling and how 2020 has impacted the way they live, ride, and thrive.

We got to speak with riders and organizers Grace Anderson and Devin Cowens who we met through the WTF Summit in 2019 as well as Rachel Olzer, one of the co-founders of
Pedal to the People. We also got to hear from zahra alabanza of Black Freedom Outfitters,  Ariana Lima with the Black Bike Culture Mapping Project, Bike Mechanic and organizer Lydia Moore, as well as two recipients of the SJ Brooks Scholarship - mechanic Olivia Williams and poet Katelyn Durst.
