Sit with Me: Let's talk Race with Chrissie Milan

Welcome back to woman to woman the podcast. The podcast dedicated to uncovering the stories of prolific women in our culture , exploring their journey to womanhood, their experience venturing their chosen career fields and everything centred around their growth process.

This week I sat with one of my friends Chrissie Milan who has previously been on (you should check it out).

We have had a heavy couple of weeks/months with all the tragedies that corona virus has brought. More recently however  the passing of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, resurfacing of the Ahmaud case as well as lives that were taken during the protest. More than ever there's bee a need to have a conversation about race, the real authentic black experience and racial injustice that a lot of us have faced but have been uncomfortable to speak about candidly especially in regards to systematic injustice that a lot of us have faced.

Hopefully this conversation will allow for a lot of you to understand our perspective on the current issues, we do not have all of the answers and this is our opinions. It is important to keep the conversation going and to not let the ammunition wear out. Speak, Protest, Donate, Research, do anything just do not stop to move the conversation forward.

Remember - Love God, Love people.

BLACK LIVES MATTER. ALWAYS AND FOREVER.

See you at the next one !
