We’re back with a bonus! We’re joined by Kristine from Gilmore Book Club to chat about Daisy Miller by Henry James and how it relates to the infamous GG episode “Say Goodbye to Daisy Miller” and the Rory/Dean affair. That's a wrap! We did it y'all, we made it to our final episode breaking down the revival. Our episode on Spring is finally here! If you follow us on Instagram then you know that we’ve been met with technical difficulty after technical difficulty trying to get this episode up. But finally, after a herculean effort, it has arrived. In this second breakdown of the revival we chat about the (failed) attempt at Stars Hollow charm, the chaos of Luke, Lorelai, and Emily, and Rory’s complete and utter inability to pivot. 

We've made you wait a year for us to discuss a most infamous year - A Year in the Life, that is. But, alas, it's finally here. (We're done speaking like we're at Liz and TJ's wedding now). This has got to be one of the most hotly debated and criticized aspects of the Gilmore Girls universe and we’ll be breaking it all down over the next four episodes. First up is Winter, and we’re joined by Suzanne and Alexis of Talking Fast podcast (another excellent GG pod!). We'll get into what worked, what didn’t, what they could (and should!) have changed, and how this first episode (for better or worse) sets the tone for the rest of the revival.

If you know you know with this week’s episode title. That’s right, we’re talking about that pesky little thing called money. Wealth (or lack thereof) is one of the most consistent themes (and sources of conflict) within the entire show. In this episode we’ll be discussing its effect on our Gilmore Girls and their choices and relationships. We’ll also finally be answering a question we posed multiple times in season one, being: Can you really run away from wealth?

That’s right, y’all! Our episode on Dean & Rory’s rollercoaster of a relationship is finally here. We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off season 2 than with a *super* deep dive into one of the more fanbase polarizing relationships on the show. Admittedly, we aren’t Dean’s biggest fans, however, we can humbly and honestly say that we gave him a pretty fair analysis in this one. We’re so excited to be back for another season and can’t wait to hear your thoughts about these two!

The time has come and the time is now. We have not listened to those who said we could not podcast (and by “those” we mostly mean our busy schedules and pesky time zones) and now we give you our Season 1 finale: the oft-requested episode on Rory dropping out of Yale.

Today, we’re going to be talking about the many shortcomings of Christopher and analyze the impact that his behavior has on Lorelai and Rory's lives.

Today we’re talking about the way that race and politics intersect in the world of Stars Hollow. We give credit where it’s due and critique where it’s lacking, but it all comes from our love of the show. As long-time GG fans and BIPOC women ourselves, we thought this would be a really interesting topic to discuss.

It’s all in the title. Today we’ll be talking about sex and the somewhat troubling role it plays in the Gilmore Girls universe, particularly with its female characters (there’s a pattern there that is a real head scratcher). We’ll be diving deeper into this theme with Rory, Lorelai, Paris, Lane, and Sherry.

We tried to give them a fair shake, but it's pretty obvious that we are not the biggest fans of the Rory and Logan relationship… Things get heated, but we hope you enjoy our antics!
