Ep. 7 The Concept Of Ikigai With Urmi Hossain
In this episode I chat with Urmi about the concept of ikigai, which is commonly used to refer to the intersection of 'what you love', 'what you're good at', 'what the world needs' and 'what you can be paid for'.
We discuss what the concept is, why it can be helpful, tips for finding your own ikigai, whether we've found our own ikigai. We also chat about the importance of lifelong learning and staying curious and open to opportunities.

Ep. 5 Women Empowering Women With Katherine Nichols
Author Katherine Nichols is a big believer in the power of women supporting women. In this episode she shares her experiences of that in her own life, particularly the gifted girls mentor group she set up whilst teaching at a high school and the all woman writers critique group she helped form as an aspiring author. We also discuss the value of strong female characters and breaking away from stereotypical romances in fiction, which is a big feature in Katherine's own writing.
It was a lovely, inspiring chat that definitely sparked my interest to read her books!
