With thirteen years of experience in urban education, Yaritza supplies many effective strategies and resources for educating and supporting BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) students and families. After graduating from the State University of New York at Albany, she began her career teaching Social Studies to overaged, under-credited high school students in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York. Later, she earned her first master's degree from Long Island University, Brooklyn, where she studied Adolescent Urban Education and expounded her knowledge of inclusive pedagogical practices. Over her career, Yaritza became an Assistant Principal of an Expeditionary Learning School, CEO and Founder of McKenzie’s Adventures LLC, and an Author of culturally relevant children's books. Yaritza’s overall mission is to create opportunities and experiences for students of color to gain fair access to resources that spark critical thinking and meaningful conversations in and out of the classroom.

Rishit Dagli is a CS Freshman at The University of Toronto. He loves researching and working with Machine Learning, especially Computer Vision. Coming from a software and robotics background, he contributes extensively to maintain popular open-source projects Seeing his work at a rather young age, he had been invited to speak at 2 TEDx and 1 TED-Ed events.

Michael Barrett from Microsoft Ireland's Dream Space team trained as a Primary School Teacher but has since ventured into the realm of STEM in his role as a STEM Education Specialist. He is the host of Dream Space LIVE and has been involved in several Minecraft Education initiatives in the Republic of Ireland. A Microsoft Certified Educator, Michael's enthusiasm for gaming and game-based learning shines through in his work. 🎮📚🌐

Risha Chaurasia is a teen author and blogger from India. Her books are called Tales of Twinkling Tweens and TRUCE, and she also runs a financial literacy blog on Instagram called straight.from.my.pen. She is also a reading advocate and encourages youth's love of reading and literature via workshops and events. 

Nadine Ebri currently serves as the Community Manager for Minecraft Education. Her professional journey includes experiences as an elementary, middle school, and Algebra I teacher. Nadine's unique and creative teaching approaches have garnered attention, especially with several of her viral instructional videos gaining widespread online recognition, garnering over 20 million views. Transitioning from the classroom, Nadine explored the connection of education and technology. In Jacksonville, as a technology specialist, she played a pivotal role in launching the world’s first Minecraft Lab. There, she equipped fellow educators with tools and knowledge to seamlessly incorporate Minecraft Education, emphasizing the advantages of game-based learning. Her efforts in the realm of educational technology did not go unnoticed. In 2023, International Society for Technology in Education honored Nadine with the "20 to Watch" award. Moreover, she was featured by EdTech Magazine on their list of "30 K-12 IT Influencers to Follow." In her current position at Minecraft Education, Nadine focuses on supporting and creating initiatives for the global community.

Dr. Gladson Vaghela is a medical doctor from India, currently serving as the Research Coordinator at The Training for Health Equity Network, USA, directing his efforts toward the attainment of social accountability in medical education through education, research, and service. He is a Policy Fellow of The Network: Towards Unity For Health, USA; a Country Representative at Healthcare Information for All, UK; and serves on the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth Youth Health Network, UK. During his medical training, for four consecutive years, he has served in different capacities on the Executive Committee of the Asian Medical Students’ Association International. This student-led organization has representation in more than 30 countries. Notably, he has served as a Youth Advisor for YuWaah (Generation Unlimited) at UNICEF India, specifically focusing on empowering and nurturing the well-being of young individuals. In 2023, he made it among the top 50 finalists for the prestigious Chegg.org Global Student Prize. Dr. Vaghela's ultimate goal is to achieve equity in accessing healthcare services, especially in low- and middle-income countries. For one of his attempts to address inequity in accessing suicide prevention services, Gladson was awarded the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene Small Grant 2021 in partnership with the National Institute of Health Research UK, to conduct his study. 

Adebayo Alomaja is the Head of Research and chief Learning Designer of Eazy-Digi. He leads an education research and consulting firm in Nigeria where he works with schools to shift to authentic and skill-based learning and this involves training educators every week. He is engaged in qualitative and quantitative research to build content and design learning experiences that empower educators. He also has to do a lot of blogging and content writing.

With over eight years of dedicated service at Sat Paul Mittal School, Dr Geeta Dua had served as the Head Senior School and a Core Committee member from 2012 to 2020, She played a pivotal role in developing the school's systems and policies, overseeing various processes, and ensuring their effective implementation. In her role as an expert subject teacher in chemistry and a master trainer, she actively promoted innovative teaching practices and collaborated with fellow educators to enhance teaching quality and standards. She extended learning beyond the classroom through technology, utilizing platforms like Google Classroom and Khan Academy. Dr Dua’s commitment to professional development is evident through her involvement in the Microsoft Education Community, earning the title of Microsoft Innovative Educator for three consecutive years and completing numerous courses.

Ravinder Bishnoi, a 21-year-old inventor, is actively engaged in the fields of automobile and healthcare through his startup, KieKie Private Limited. With three patents to his name, he has also proudly represented India in numerous international competitions. Recently, he received the prestigious title of India's best student, as he represents the nation in the Chegg Global Student Prize. His primary objective is to create innovative solutions that can benefit our society.

Ms. Maarit Rossi is the Founder & CEO of Paths to Math Ltd. Her broad experience in the education field is grounded based on her career and expertise in the world popular Finnish education system. She is a former Mathematics teacher and Principal. She is an author of nine Mathematics textbooks, several pedagogic articles and publications. Ms. Maarit has done an e-Learning Math material also for the grades 6 to 9. She has been running many international projects in co-operation with the Finnish industry and also in her school. She was one of the top 10 finalists in Global Teacher Prize 2016 and she was one of the judges of the Global Teacher Prize Academy 2017. She has contributed articles related to Mathematics in many national and international publications. She is a seasoned keynote speaker in international conferences and conducted many successful teachers’ workshops globally.

Mary Jalland is a primary school teacher from Scotland with a passion for teaching global and digital citizenship. She may be best known for her travelling toy elephants who teach her pupils about the world through social media. Mary believes that modelling responsible use of social media from a young age, is vital to nurturing positive digital citizens. Her elephant's travels have helped to teach her young pupils about big world events such as Climate Summits, Ebola and Conflict, and also about the world of work inspiring children to aspire to ambitious careers. At the heart of Mary's teaching style is listening to children and following their interests to keep them engaged in learning, and also sharing learning with parents and the community by communicating through tech such as social media, Seesaw or Google Classroom. Mary encourages her students to be peaceful activists, raising awareness on issues that matter to them using social media as a platform. Mary has spoken at many events and conferences on digital and global citizenship, on her research into engaging children as readers, and on play based pedagogy. She is currently writing a book about reaching the world outside the classroom without leaving the classroom.

Melisa Hayes is a  2nd grade teacher and this is her 25th year in education.   She is also an author. Her children's book titled: ABBS will be  coming out this fall. She loves coaching Girls on the Run, presenting at educational conferences and share her passion for inclusion, STEM and making memorable learning experiences for her 2nd grade family.

Diogo da Silva is a Portuguese educator who is specialized in EdTech in the classroom. He led the elementary STEAM program at escolaglobal, a Microsoft Showcase School, and now oversees the pedagogical component of Visionarium, a non-profit organization that aims to empower teachers and students through the usage of STEAM. Dr. Bron Stuckey is a global consultant specialist in gameplay, gamification, communities of practice, and learning communities. Bron has been engaged in the educational community and gameful practices in learning development for the past 16 years. She has worked to explore virtual worlds, games in learning, and how we can cultivate identity, agency, citizenship, leadership, and community. She is a postdoctoral research fellow of the Arizona State University Center for Games & Impact and is a global leader in gamification for community and identity cultivation. She is a global Minecraft mentor, is on the board of several educational game start-ups, and is the creator of the GameChanger Girls Esports Program. Frank Moody currently serve as the Education Liaison in the USA for GameMaker, a 2D game engine, and has been using game design to support students and educators in the creation of engaging learning experiences for over 15 years, including working withGameMaker, Unreal, and Unity. As a teaching administrator for 25 years, he has always believed that his role was more environmental engineering than the controller of information. Having fallen into the position ofAs Director of Technology at a small private school in the summer of 1995, he was tasked with updating their network (token ring) of first gen Macs to a cross-platform ethernet network running i486 and power Mac computers to all classrooms and dormitory rooms. To accomplish this task he needed to use students as labor thus becoming an unintentional educator of technology.Confronting challenges, solving problems, and learning side by side with his students served as a powerful introduction to teaching and learning. So much so, that when the time came for students to switch from being consumers to producers of digital information he continued to build environments where he could learn alongside them. This included digital audio and video studios, performance art centers, and music buildingsand of course game design classrooms, robotics labs, and computer programming.Times have changed and now what used to take a dedicated room and expensive equipment can all take place on a laptop or smartphone. He is now on a learning journey to find ways to distill the design frameworks that happened in those specialized classrooms throughout the curriculum and my starting point is game design as he believes STEM skills can be taught outside of siloed courses and within the humanities.

As a Digital Learning Coach in Walpole, Massachusetts, Jed Stefanowicz provides job-embedded professional development and instructional coaching for academic technology. Amanda Pickard has been a primary school teacher in Scotland for about 15 years with experience of teaching children from 3-11 years old.   She is currently on a secondment with her local authority as the Digital Development Officer, working with schools, teachers, and pupils to increase digital literacy and computing science skills.    She is passionate about leveraging digital technologies to support, engage, challenge, and inspire.   Her recent classroom experience has been with little learners, primary 1 in Scotland, who are around 5 years old. Akanksha Arora is a passionate educationist with an experience of 26 years. She has served in the capacities of educator, Academic Head, Principal, School Mentor, and Head- Training. As a Curriculum Manager, she rigorously worked on the Experiential Learning methodology for 6 years. She has trained more than 12000 educators and 300 school leaders. Akanksha is an MIEE and School Mentor for 11 Microsoft Showcase Incubator schools. She is also impaneled as a Trainer with CBSE Centre of Excellence and leads professional development on pedagogy, classroom management, technology in education, life skills and value education, subject capacity building, and NEP 2020. She has been a Master Trainer for Cambridge English Assessment. Akanksha is an Educator Innovation Lead in Flip at Microsoft and is on a mission to empower every person on the planet to share their voice. Her focus lies in transforming teaching-learning to make it outcome-oriented, effective, and joyful. Akanksha loves to travel and is an avid reader.

Aarav Garg is a 16-year-old innovator, entrepreneur, and TEDx speaker. He has been into technology since a very young age and has built many robots and other projects. His work has been published in various international magazines and media houses. He is the Founder and CEO of Tech Nuttiez. 

 Tech Nuttiez is a startup that aims to educate the global youth on technology and has built a mobile app for tech enthusiasts where users can learn how to build various projects, explore various STEM-related topics and also win exciting prizes for their contributions and efforts. The app has been downloaded in 80+ countries and Tech Nuttiez has reached 1,000,000+ young minds across social media through their exciting content that revolves around technology.

Dr. Harvey is a science educator and E-sport director based at Marlborough Boy's College in sunny Blenheim on the top of the South Island of New Zealand. He is also a MIEExpert, Minecraft Global Mentor, Flipgrid Global ambassador, Wakelet Ambassador, Apple Teacher, and Level 2 Google Educator. He is also involved in both the Tanzanian Root and Shoots SDG Laboratory Schools. His educational research interests include the use of digital animations to enhance student understanding of complex abstract scientific concepts and linking this to cognitive psychology. He is also passionate about global collaborations to enhance educational outcomes worldwide.

Mr. Alex Isaacs is an 8th Grade Math Teacher & EdTech Enthusiast at Red Bank Middle School | Red Bank, NJ.  He is certified in a variety of EdTech platforms, and passionate about creating engaging material for students and teachers alike.

A former PK-8 math teacher turned technology integration specialist, Jaime Donally has spent more than a decade at the classroom and district levels thinking about how educators can practically use augmented, virtual and mixed realities. In her current role as an independent education consultant, she provides professional development on immersive technology to districts and at conferences.

Kecia McDonald is an educator, mother, and traveler. She lives and works in Hawai'i, USA. She believes in the power of global education to build connection, understanding, empathy, and compassion which will lead to a better world.

Jeff has recently retired from 35 years of teaching secondary STEM in the Palmyra School District in Pennsylvania. He has taught for 25 years as an adjunct professor for Lebanon Valley College's graduate STEM program as well. His educational career has been focused on developing STEM uptake and achievement, both in his school and throughout Pennsylvania – during a period when computers have gone from being rare in the classroom to ubiquitous. His teaching perspective focuses on growth mindset and project-based learning to turn students into divergent, collaborative innovators who are expert problem solvers yet also understand the human impact on their environment.  

In addition to his teaching at home, Jeff has promoted science teaching in a number of other countries, including Haiti, India, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates. As well as becoming a United States National STEM Teacher Ambassador, Jeff received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) in 2002 based on his innovative teaching, performance in the classroom, and leadership in the field. This came with an award of several thousand dollars, which he used to kick-start the development of science and technology classrooms as well as teacher training at schools in Haiti. He also helped set up Internet connections, Skype collaboration, and a wiki project between students in Haiti and Palmyra, a step that he considers the most significant project of his career. These trips were initially focused on the development and delivery of STEM infrastructure and teaching, but in the end, they grew to be much more than that: they became an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of other cultures too. Most recently, Jeff was a 2020 top 50 finalist for the Global Teacher Prize. Jeff looks forward to a post-retirement career of elevating STEM, innovation, and workforce development where ever he can.
