The Spirit Sent us to the Future City of God
Nine months ago the Lord called Aly and I into full-time ministry and gave us our first mission - to evangelize Asheville, NC. It was an arduous endeavor filled with immense spiritual warfare, a great deal of learning, and joy.
In this episode we discuss the trip and delve into topics such as witchcraft, intercessory prayer and revival.

Good Friday Freedom Night (Knoxville, TN)
We held a Freedom Night in Knoxville TN on Good Friday 2024. Our friends Michael and Michaela Piper hosted us. Michael gave a teaching sermon, while I delivered a call to Jesus for salvation and freedom. This is that call.
Spiritual Warfare Class w/ James M. Thayer P.2
Students were given the opportunity to be baptized in the Spirit, to pray for sick people, and to drive demons out of the oppressed. We, likewise, did impartation at the end.
Many believers who had never seen a sick person healed before, laid hands on people's broken bodies and saw them healed.
This is very much an introduction to Spiritual Warfare, but it covers the main philosophy - which is that everything stems from the cross of Christ.
In part-two we cover laying hands on the sick and casting out demons.
Spiritual Warfare Class w/ James M. Thayer P.1
This is part-one of a Spiritual Warfare class I gave at Citipointe Nashville in March of 2024. The class is designed to open the eyes of believers to the spiritual war around them, and to equip students to join in the fight by training them to do the same works Jesus did.
In part one I give a brief landscape of the spiritual battle we are all in, cover our identity in Jesus, and explain baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Part two will include laying hands on the sick and driving out demons, when posted.
In-between part 1 and part 2 I showed a 32 minute video of healing miracles and deliverances my team and I did, which really shook the room up.
Cancer, Demons, and the Holy Spirit w/ Angela Adams P.2
This is part-two of Angela's story trying to save her husband's life from a vicious cancer. You'll hear about several more miracles, salvations, and we'll jump into the topic of deliverance as Angela is faced with intensifying spiritual warfare.
Finally, Angela reveals her greatest takeaway from the whole journey and she prays for those who might be dealing with the same struggles Robert had. Don't miss this, there is glory on her prayer.
Cancer, Demons, and the Holy Spirit w/ Angela Adams P.1
This is part-one of Angela Adam's multi-year fight to save her husband's life from an exceedingly rare form of cancer. This story will make some people uncomfortable, and it should. In it are multiple miracles, demonic encounters, salvations, witchcraft, new age practices, and even a Roman trained Catholic exorcist.
Angela was thrust into the deep end of spiritual warfare, and in this podcast she shares not just her story, but her biggest takeaways.
A Conversation w/ My 6 Year Old
My six year old daughter, Ella, is one of the brightest kids you'll meet. She asks me several great questions in this brief impromptu exchange. I hope it puts a smile on your face!
Healing and Trauma w/ Pastor Aaron Davis
Aaron Davis is a pastor, Christian author, and healing evangelist. He is an ex SWAT team member, police officer, and detective - and boy does he have a testimony about overcoming trauma that you need to hear about.
In this episode we cover some of the practical aspects of healing ministry and delve into spiritual warfare along with how Christ can heal us from past trauma.
7 Hebrew Words for Worship w/ Ethan Sherrer
Ethan joins me in the studio with his research into the 7 different Hebrew words for worship and praise. We also discuss whether worship is a time you receive from God or simply give to Him, and other tertiary topics!
Worship Philosophy w/ Patrick McDermott
Patrick is a worship arts teacher at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. He is the worship pastor at his church called Bridges, and he is the regular volunteer worship leader for Freedom Night.
In this episode we discuss his worship philosophy and what the current heartbeat of worship is in the nation - touching on topics like the Asbury Revival, what it means to "minister unto the Lord," and leading worship prophetically.
The Prophetic Gifting w/ Savannah Ramsey, Glen Datugen, and Ashley Ranes
I am joined in the studio with three highly prophetic friends of mine as they share their stories of salvation (DO NOT MISS THESE!) and when they first began to hear the voice of the Lord.
We cover several topics concerning the prophetic gifting, and at the end the panel prophesies over individual podcast listeners.
I can't wait to have this group back in the studio for part 2!
How to Interact with The Trinity
Christians believe in one God who is three Persons - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three are co-equally God, a single God. This is a difficult doctrine to understand, but in this episode I'm not as much concerned with wrapping my head around the Trinity as I am in understanding and relating to each Person of the Trinity.
Why Did Jesus Send Them in Pairs? W/ Ethan Sherrer
In this episode, James and Ethan discuss why Jesus may have sent His disciples in pairs to preach the gospel from town to town. What are the benefits in ministering in groups instead of by yourself?
They also discuss the importance of the "secret place," and how it has affected their ability to minister at all.
The Spirit is Waking People Up w/ Aly Thayer and Joel Cosand
Aly and Joel join James in the brand new studio as they discuss the move of the Holy Spirit over the past 2.5 years and the seeds for revival.
The Spirit of God is on the move in America as Christians all over the nation have started communing with Him and walking in power through Christ.
Unlikely people are giving their lives to Jesus, and the Lord is calling His Church to consecration.
"That's Weird as Sh*t!" man healed by Jesus
This episode features a "live" conversation and miraculous healing with a skeptic who is angry at God. He meets Jesus, and we get to share the gospel with him.
An Unbeliever Hostile to Religion Meets Jesus
My friend Ethan and I set up a healing booth at a paranormal and witch festival. People would come, we would chat with them, Jesus would heal them, and then we'd reveal we were Christians and share the gospel.
This is a conversation we had with one such man who goes from hating religion to encountering Jesus in one conversation.
This will make you desire humility
The bible has a lot to say about God opposing the proud, but giving grace to the humble. Over and over again we find instruction to confess our sins, forgive others, and ultimately yield ourselves to the surpassing forgiveness of Christ.
Matthew 8 Online Freedom Night Sermon
This was James' exhortation to the people who attended the first ever online Freedom Night. Subsequently, Jesus did many miracles including healing a woman's titanium knee.
PHD in Witchcraft?
Exeter University in the UK is now offering a post-graduate degree in witchcraft and the occult.
88% Chance of Divorce?
A man who spent his whole life studying marriage was able to successfully predict divorce 88% of the time by observing 6 key attributes of how the couple communicated.
In this episode I dive into the topic of marriage and divorce - offering a 360 view of God's grace in marriage and what Jesus expects of husbands and wives.
What Jesus said about Unforgiveness
In this episode I dissect the Parable of the Unforgiving servant and talk about several theological implications people have drawn from it.
Forgiveness is paramount in the believer's life, and yet many of us find it difficult to extend to those who have hurt us most. Hopefully this episode helps you if you're in that boat!
John 6 Freedom Night Sermon
For months God had been directing me to John 6 where Jesus feeds the 5000 and they cross a lake to go looking for Him. Or did they?
This was a sermon I gave at Freedom Night in August of 2023.
Later that night a young boy gave his life to Jesus and a woman was reborn and baptized.
Lordship is missing from our churches
1 John is a terrifying mirror for the modern church to hold up to itself. Jesus is not simply our savior, but our Lord, and without Lordship we have much to be concerned about. But there is hope for us in Jesus! Just as Paul said he did the things he did not want to do, we too have Christ as our deliverer. #lordship #remaininme #jesus #pruning #lukewarm #evangelist #jamesmthayer
Are there two baptisms?
Christians have debated whether there are two baptisms or not since at least the Reformation. Some believe there is only one baptism, and reject the notion of a separate "baptism of the Holy Spirit." Others, such as charismatics and Pentecostals, swear there are two baptisms. But what does scripture say? In this video I go through 15+ verses found in the gospels and in Acts to help us determine whether there are two baptisms or not.

The Proper Application of Anger and Hatred
Our emotions of anger and hatred are frequently misdirected towards people rather than their divinely intended targets. I pull from scripture, and a passage from Perelandra to make a case for the right application of these feelings.
