Love is an action
We hear a lesson from the Bible about how actions speak louder than words.
Instructions for Jesus's disciples
The Beatitudes, a word that means blessings, tells us how Jesus wants us to live. If we try and do these things, we will be blessed and happy.
Jesus is alive and shares bread with his friends
We hear the story of Jesus meeting friends on a road. At first they do not recognize their friend Jesus.
A dark day; the day Jesus dies
We hear the story of the day Jesus dies.
The First Palm Sunday
The people shout praises and welcomed Jesus as he entered Jerusalem on a donkey.
Jesus is the Bread of Life
Jesus said, "I am the bread of life." Jesus gives us life.
The Golden Rule
For this bonus Lenten episode we hear the story of The Golden Rule, written by Ilene Cooper.
Jesus is the Light of the World
Jesus said, "I am the light of the world." We learn that if we follow Jesus, we too can be lights in the world.
Jesus is the Good Shepherd
We begin to learn who Jesus is by listening to the story of the Good Shepherd.

Today we learn about Zacchaeus, another person Jesus met.

Showing gratitude
We hear a story of a grateful man who returns to thank Jesus for showing kindness and healing him.

God's generous love
We hear a story about a woman who met Jesus at a well. She learns from Jesus about God's generous love that flows like fresh water.
Jesus's friends care for him
We hear the story of Jesus's friends Mary and Martha, who both showed Jesus how much they loved him.
Jesus had help from God and Twelve Disciples
In tonight's story Jesus chooses 12 people to teach so they can tell other people about God.
I love you very much. You make me happy.
Tonight, we hear the story of John baptizing Jesus.
Jesus teaches the teachers.
We hear a second and final story of Jesus when he was a child. When Jesus was twelve he taught the teachers in the temple.
Jesus is dedicated in the temple
Anna and Simeon are in the temple for Jesus's dedication. They get to see the One from God who will be the light for all people.

Wednesday, January 6 is the Epiphany of the Lord. Listen to the story of the magi's visit to Jesus.
