Welcome back to The Writer’s Locke, a Nuzlocke Reading Project!
Exaltation awaits Eusine as we build to the final chapters of Carousel. Our other two storylockes continue their runs, with two very different protagonists struggling with two very different conflicts, and relationship struggles that are not entirely dissimilar. Our discussion segment also touches on these -- with a rowdy panel on inter-character relationships and interactions! There was enough material that we’re releasing a deluxe version of the discussion segment specifically, including extra detail on examples, deeper dives into how a selection of storylockes handle their relationships, and a couple of real-life anecdotes about accidental dates!

Feels like it’s been a hot second, right? We wrapped last October with a Halloween Anthology that was a tonne of fun. (It actually went live on the Nuzwriter’s Lounge, the unofficial writing server, and we had a listen party. HEAPS of fun to watch everyone yell at things grew spookier and more dire!) The team’ve been working since the new year to build on our debut season. I’m proud as punch of the hard yakka put in and I know the team are stoked to bits, too!
But that’s probably enough straya for the second.
This episode, we’ll be hearing from:
Our returning host, Rainey!
Raderph, reading Carousel’s opening chapter and sticking with us throughout the season!

Last season, we used this spot to ask a couple of extra questions arising from discussion. I'd like to bring that back a little! So:
Have you toyed with rebooting an in-progress story? What did you decide to ultimately do, and why?
But there have been changes on the forums between now and this year! So if you have an itch you wanna scratch beyond that, there's now the Shop Talk subforum!
