In many ways, I believe I am just like any of the billions of people existing on this planet. I have reinvented myself frequently over my professional career. After I graduated from The Citadel, I was employed in the Marketing Department at the corporate headquarters of Wendy’s International, in Dublin, Ohio. From there I switched to hospital administration for Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. After getting married, I became the Customer Service Manager for an academic publishing company in Santa Barbara, California. Subsequently, I was a police officer in Cincinnati, Ohio. Following a family move to Texas, I started my own consulting business and coached high school basketball in Houston. Each time I took on a new position, I had to develop new skills and faced different challenges. There was always a significant learning curve with each new job. But my greatest challenge began in early 2012 when I was diagnosed with a rare form of melanoma that presented on the bottom of my foot. By the time the cancer was detected, it had metastasized to a lymph node in my groin. I was treated at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center. I had two surgeries to remove the cancer, and after I healed, I was put on a weekly injection of Interferon to help keep the disease from returning. The Interferon gave me severe flu-like symptoms for two - three days every week after each injection. I lost fifty pounds during my therapy, was constantly nauseous, fatigued and chilled, my ability to taste food significantly diminished, and my body continually ached. This misery went on for over 1,660 days! One thing I learned during all my pain and suffering is that you have two choices. You can either succumb to the debilitating discomfort and misery, or you can learn to embrace it and use it to make you a stronger and better human being. I chose the latter.

Heather Szasz
My name is Heather Szasz and I have over 12 years of professional dog training experience, as well as experience as a life coach for a world-wide company. Having extensive experience in both dog training and life coaching has given me a unique outlook and ability to be very successful with working with dog owners and the behavior issues with their dogs. I started my career as a dog trainer 30 years ago in England when I was the owner of my first puppy--an airedale terrier named Sharka. I trained with Geoff Grinham, the author of the book Dog Training and Behavior. You will find many pictures of Sharka and myself in Geoff Grinham's book. However, please remember that was 30 years ago, so I do look a bit different today! Life took a left turn, as I ended up in Florida for 22 years. I had not been certified as a dog trainer in England, so I chose to begin a residential house cleaning business. After a few years, I sold the my cleaning business and said to myself, "What do I really want to do?" My answer was that I really want to be a certified Professional Dog Trainer, so I went to the Animal Behavior College and graduated! For the last 12 years, I have worked with many one-on-one clients, taught agility classes for fun, and mentored students from the Animal Behavior College. I have worked with rescues, volunteered for nine years, and spent the last two of those years as a trainer in a prisoner/shelter dog program. In total, we have trained and adopted 75 dogs! My focus now is on coaching owners in how to influence their dog in a positive way through transforming our anxiety and negativity which our dogs are living with on a daily basis. Remember Happy Owner/Happy Dog! Please check The Balance Procedure Page for more information on how to take control of your energy and how that will affect your dog's behavior. Sponsor :

Karen and John Yates
I travel the world with my husband and 2 kids! But I wasn't always so bold... I spent 20 years as a pharmaceutical research chemist, moving steadily up the ladder, living the "American Grind" lifestyle before realizing that I wanted more out of life - that I wanted to spend more time with my husband and children. That I wanted stronger relationships with each of them. That I wanted to live a life of my own choosing. Financially, we had been decimated by 4 job losses, several out- of-state moves, rental properties lost during the 2008 mortgage crisis, and most recently, a real-estate flip that turned into a flop. We were in no position to leave my job and travel, but it was a dream that we knew we had to pursue. What followed was a story of perseverance and determination. We made it happen with the money that we had and boarded a plane 7 months later with one-way tickets. Along the way, my husband and I realized that what had been missing throughout our 20 years of marriage was alignment -- with each other and with our goals. It was through real, heart- felt communication that we were able to find this alignment and make our dream a reality, despite our seemingly impossible short timeline and lack of any real savings. In the process, we realized that it was our passion to share our holistic approach to finances with others -- not only to inspire them to go after their dreams, but also to make sure that they. Big Foot Anonymous
My name is Connor the Countryman and I believe we are in the center of the universe. I was born in Cleveland and now live in the Panhandle of Florida. My dad is a firefighter and my mom grew up on a farm. I have family members that were war heroes and others that were lifelong criminals. On my quest for cryptids and consciousness, I believe I may be perceived as both. All movies are based on true events in one form or another. As humans, we can't make anything up. The only thing to never exist is COINCIDENCE. Elves in Middle Earth, Vampires vs Werewolves, Jack and the Bean Stalk are all based in reality according to my research! I enjoy the visual trip and the ride of the mind when I watch movies. I've been lucky enough to appear in multiple movies and act in few plays and musicals. Psychedelics and cinema channels communication with the deities above. Through my adventures and days, I always knew there was more to this world. I was fascinated by graveyards but hospitalized by nightmares. I was intrigued to sasquatch but knew he could rip me to shreds. I made fun of my mom for being scared of Jaws but I was anticipating him every time I swam in Lake Erie. I am a walking oxymoron but I think I'm onto something. I believe in a lot of things but mostly believe in people. I will take the word of my fellow brethren before any institution. I respect my elders but have a problem with abusive authority. I think people deserve the truth but I know they can't handle the truth. Many things I have discovered create a heavy burden. But I rather know and adapt than have to be in the dark and react. Without the facts, we are at risk. But the fact of the matter is, life is a risk. Take a gamble but do everything in your power to make sure you succeed. And that's what I'm going to do til I no longer bleed...or breathe! Dream! Sponsor

Dana Humphrey
Life Coach, Dana Humphrey Learn more at Everyone is at least a little bit codependent in their relationships these days. As a Queer woman in NYC, I have always been a bit different. I understand the battle of having been a “good girl” and “people-pleaser” and also a rebel at the same time. I pierced my nose for the first time at age 17. I have run the spectrum and full range of reactions in order to be able to teach it now. I no longer parent my parents, but I have stepped into being a daughter with them. I help others identify the root of their patterns from family life and how these patterns may be showing up in love & partnership and in work. In the Fall of 2016 I was introduced to a person that would show me all about my own codependency issues in relationship and start to understand the human magnet syndrome. It was an initiation. I launched a PR company for pet product manufacturers back in 2007 called Whitegate PR and was a guest on TV stations across the country from NBC to CBS to ABC to Fox as “The Pet Lady”TM. I received my BS from San Diego State University in Public Relations and Political Science. After working for Muttropolis in southern california and then moving to New York City in 2008 I have been a professor at Baruch College and FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology). I have studied bikram yoga, meditation, participated in vipassana silent retreats, I have studied Latihan at the Subud Center along with many religions, spirituality, plant medicine and pets. I have also completed the NYC marathon, NYC triathlon and a 70.3 Ironman. I was born in Canada, raised in London England and grew up in Northern California. I identify as a global citizen and currently reside in Rockaway Park, on the beach in Queens in NYC. I wish for you to shift into your full sense of self so you can show up in that way in all your relationships, and allow yourself to be fully expressed!

Kimmy and the Bipolarbuterflyproject
My name is Kimmy, I am the creative behind the bipolar Butterfly Project. I am a self taught , accidental art activist using my experience with mental illness as inspiration for the @bipolarbutterflyproject Hoping to raise awareness and help end the stigma on mental illness. I originally built my brand, @Makikisart (Mama and Aunt Kiki mooshed) with custom hand painted stemware and with the help of social media, I was shipping world wide. Business was booming and I was struggling to keep up before I had my 1st major manic episode. I am Bipolar 1 with Generalized and Anxiety Disorder. I painted a butterfly in the midst of that yet-to-be- diagnosed episode and later realized how well it not only suits the dual sides of Bipolar, but all mental illness. How on one side we try to show our best, most beautiful selves even when we may be crumbling on the other. I received such an overwhelming outpour of response from the mental health community when I shared about it, I decided to paint a whole series. One day while painting I heard a segment on NPR about mental health and violence/suicide. Many awful statistics. But the one I was obbsessed with is the #2cause of death for 10-34 years olds is suicide (that may be just here in the states) I had a 10 and 13 year old. Who are genetically predisposed to struggle with depression and anxiety. I decided right then that I want to use this for something more. I want to help raise awareness and end the stigma on mental health. I want my children and their entire generation to feel comfortable addressing mental health and seeking help when needed. This movement was born Nov 2019. And during 2020, a world pandemic, it has blossomed with 9 public art installations in neighboring cities and I have 10 more lined up. I want to give mental health a visual representation that builds community and support as effectively as pink ribbons and rainbows do. No demographic is untouched by mental illness. And now, more than ever mental illnes mental illness rates are rising due to the financial and social stresses of the pandemic, political division and civil unrest. Combating the stigma is so simple. Just talking, opening up, NORMALIZING conversation and non judgemental speech about mental health. So many lives could be saved from tragic violence and suicide due to unchecked mental health. I hope to share this story and make it a worldwide movement. I would love to install public art to spark conversation all over the world (I dream big ;) ) Sharing this and gaining exposure to help find location and funding opportunities is the way it will grow.

Anja Skodda and HAPPYBOND
Anja Skodda is the Founder/CEO/Chief Scientist of HappyBond, a company that produces human grade, nutrition essentials and food products for pets and humans.  HappyBond’s mission is to extend the Healthspan of pets and make pet people happy.  At HappyBond, she leads product development and partnerships, applying her bioengineering education and experience.  For over 20 years, Anja has combined her scientific training and entrepreneurial drive, to a variety of business ventures. Anja studied biotechnology from the Technical University of Berlin for seven years, specializing in tissue engineering of cartilage and skin.  During this time she worked on protein expression at Novartis in Basel. Her research at Novartis expedited the production of new drugs through the use of fluorescent markers.   Her biotech work includes developing the automated technology to scale the drug screening for rheumatoid arthritis, and avoiding animal testing. Anja started her entrepreneurial career in 2006, launching a Bullywood, a corporate company in Stockholm.  She organized and ran the venue and services end to end.  She grew it to host 200 events a year. Following her passion for horse riding, in 2010 Anja moved back to Germany to train with the world’s best dressage riders.  She sold Bullywood in 2013 to fund the development of a collagen essential to prevent joint issues in her dressage horses.  This development ultimately became HappyBond’s first breakthrough product.  In 2016, Anja developed a groundbreaking product for humans. A beauty drink called ‘Anti Everything’, a collagen infused vodka cocktail, simultaneously delivered  anti-aging benefits and a nice buzz. The product launch went viral and generated media coverage around the world. One year later, Anja created ‘HAPPYBOND’ in Berlin and  Venice to commercialize a breakthrough collagen formula that builds, maintains and repairs mammalian joint & hip cartilage. Her inspiration was to help Tony, her beloved bulldog, to overcome arthritis and skateboard again.  Within weeks of taking the supplement, Tony, was pain-free and back riding his skateboard.  In August of 2019, she partnered with Cesar Millan, the “Dog Whisperer” and within a year they Extended to HAPPYBOND to strengthen the bond to your best friend and encompass all products, people and pets. HAPPYBOND is approaching whole health for pets: Body, Mind and Play and they provide Healthspan knowledge in the “wild West” of Pet products. Anja currently resides in Venice California and bulldog Nando, who is HAPPYBOND’s Chief Tasting Officer.

Myko and TailSpin Tools
Influenced by my parents. My Mom and Pop rebuilt the house around us.  Repairs or improvements were expensive, so my parents were DIY animals.  Pop learned to hang sheetrock, Mom learned to tape seams.  We grew up watching a florist and a bookkeeper tear pipes from the walls to reinvent our home.  No project was out of reach.  Way before Youtube, they just dove in and figured it out.  By 14 I was helping a neighbor renovate HIS home. My Start in woodworking: A birthday gift when I was about 10 changed my life.  Opened it, confused to find a block of wood.  Now, we were not wealthy…but a block of wood? Really?? Another gift followed, the wooden box of an Exacto carving set.  I carved that block of balsa into a treasured keepsake. My right hand has been trying to murder my left hand ever since. The early lesson was that work provided what you could imagine, instead of what you could buy. The problem solving and tool skills served me well through a 35-year commercial photography career in Manhattan, building out 4 studios along the way. I hold 2 prior US patents, and a bootstrapped background in product development, which earned bringing a product for large-format digital photography to market around 2010. Carved wooden canoe -  The first thing I ever made. The first thing I ever made. As tools outgrew storage a shop got built in the basement, skills improved and work grew more refined, I confronted the question that haunts us all: “Pins first, or tails first?“  Determined to get it right, the boxes that covered shop surfaces were chopped up or given away. Bought Euro and Japanese backsaws and learned that my chisels weren’t really sharp. Building other people’s jigs, and watching endless videos of experts contradicting each other. Every jig, trick, and hint aimed at the same thing: The Transfer.  TailSpin Tool 1.0 TailSpin 1.0 In 2015 I tried to eliminate the transfer. With patents filed, rounds of prototypes and tests began. The videos and work-arounds proved the problem was pervasive; not just mine. Fast-forward 5+ years to Calibrated Collinear Marking Tools.  The first small run was CNC machined in brass and stainless. The plan was metal production. That changed when two of my test dummies (Thanks guys!!) reported the brass didn’t hold up to their marking knives. Decided to go composite. Covid nixed a video re-shoot.  Now they’re lighter, easier to use, and less likely to take or dish damage from bench to floor & back. Cheaper to produce also, the original price was projected at $150/set!  So there you have it. Peace in our time. The Pins vs. Tails feud is over! You’re welcome.

It is a feminist manifesto, toppling the notion that women should be anything but ferociously themselves. It wanders through the darkness of not-enoughness in romantic relationships. Dives headfirst into the warm, sultry waters of self-love. Sinks sharp teeth into poverty and inter-generational not-knowing. It is a work of art, a labor of love, and a tribute to every woman who has ever felt like she is less. You are endlessly, irrefutably beautiful. Flaws and all. You simply have to believe it.

Brad Lyon
Brad Lyon stops by to talk about His movie Let's Party and its message and how it could impact you .. Long time indie film director Brad Leo Lyon is calling upon every 3rd Party supporter and independent voter in America to join us in the creation of the movie "Let's Party," the definitive rebuttal to the old adage that supporting third parties is wasted effort. For decades, the Republican and Democratic parties have had countless forms of high quality media they've used to suppress the growth of 3rd parties in America. It's finally time 3rd Parties had something of our own so we can take a swing back at the duopoly. With your help, we're going to take the fight back to them. "Let's Party" is a hybrid movie that combines elements of narrative storyline alongside documentary production with a goal of creating awareness and presenting alternative options through factual based discourse. It is the "Adam Ruins Everything" of 2 Party Politics illustrating the system's current failures and the reality that we don't have to fall victim to it. Most importantly, it works to provide factual evidence to debunk the theory that we're stuck in a two party system while showing our audience just what the two major parties have done to make Americans believe it's true.
