Hip Openers
If I sit too much my hips get tight. If I walk or run too much my hips get tight. They are pretty much just always tight. Apparently women hold stress in their hips, more so than men do. (Though men tend to have super tight hips too.) In yoga, hips are connected to the second chakra, which is all about sensuality, emotions, passion, and creativity. This chakra (or energy area) is also about going with the flow, being connecting with what's around you, and being open to it all. Hope you enjoy this short hip opening practice!
