Today is not only my 34th birthday, but a day that I am incredibly grateful to share a collection of songs that I've been working on for the last few years, songs to get you to dance, to be silly, to have fun, to feel good in your own skin. Today I release all ten of those songs, which you can listen to below. So I thought for this podcast I'd share my music journey, starting out as a kid who had literally no musical talent, tone deaf, shy, about ready to quit, to starting a band and moving to NYC, to finding my own voice and creating a new medium to share in my love for music with YOU.
Listen "'You and The Everybody Band" on Spotify
Listen on Itunes
A bit more about the music:
It brings me great joy to be able to share a music project I've been working on for the last year and a half. I could say it's my "solo" album, but that would go against the very nature of its intention. I created these songs to share what I love most about music, it's unlimited ability to create a deeper sense of connection in our hearts and bodies, and share it with you in the hopes that it may put a smile on your face and a little shimmy in your step.
Simply put, You and The Everybody Band is a collection of songs and rhythms to get you up and dancing. Music has always been a way to help me get over depression, anxiety, and a general sense of disconnection, dance music has a way to get me out of my head and into my body, and today I am grateful to have the opportunity to share this music with YOU on all streaming platforms.
My only hope is that while listening to each song you let the music take you on a ride, be silly, have fun, let your guard down, dance away the fear, sing or play along, and feel free to be YOU. As always, thank YOU for being YOU.
I thought it a fun idea to talk about my experience with religion over the years and how I have managed to separate God from religion and see God, or consciousness or higher self, or whatever you want to call it, as something far greater then what I grew up to believe. It took some opening up to breaking past conditioning but has had a profound impact on my life and I wanted to share that with you. Remember to send some love to yourself today, I know you need it.

Who doesn't love a good book, right? Well, me. At least until I was 20 that is. Yep, I used to loath reading, did anything that I could to avoid reading any books, somehow made it through most of school without ever officially reading one. But when I was 20 that all changed and I never looked back.
The book I spoke about mostly in this podcast is called Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse.

Have you ever had a Tarot reading? Maybe that sounds strange to you, or maybe you are all about it, regardless, Tarot has become a powerful tool in my life to help me gain some clarity. The type of Tarot that I read is a Zen based Tarot that is really just a way to help you think outside of the box and get clarity on any problems you are struggling with. I wanted to try something today that I have never done before, reading Tarot for everyone at the same time. This is an experiment, but I wanted to see what would happen if I tried to do a reading for everyone, see if there is some sort of universal clarity going on. If you'd like a personal reading, look below. Here we go...
If you want to see what this tarot reading looks like, click HERE to see on my instagram account.
If you'd like to have your Zen Tarot read, I am offering special discounted Tarot readings just for podcast listeners for $50 this week only, email me at email@example.com
I recently received a heartfelt message from someone who wrote in looking for some direction in their life. They have been lacking passion, switching up majors, stuck in a world of overconsumption with no one to talk to and no idea what to do. On today's podcast I will do my best to shed some light on the situation and offer up guidance, sharing things that have helped me in the past. As always, if you'd like to get some guidance email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, don't be shy :)

Today, what a glorious day. I've been having this same thing come up and up again in my life and I am starting to get the feeling that you might be able to relate. So lets chat about the struggles around positive thinking and how it can be ineffective without one key ingredient (yes I compare everything to food or music).
Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to ask a question, share your story, or simply to say hi, we don't get comments on the podcast, it's not really a thing, so I always appreciate messages from YOU.
Who is ready to break out of their own B.S? Today we are chatting about how often times we try and use the problem to fix the problem, but having various forms of outside support can really help us along.
email me at email@example.com if you’d like to share your story or need some guidance.
Landmark worldwide is the intensive workshop I talked about.
Today I thought it a good time to share a bit of my food journey and how learning to cook and falling in love with food has changed my life in ways I could have never imagined. As always, feel free to send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with any thoughts or questions as well as things you may need additional support with. Be well friends.
Greetings friends! I love you!!!! Did you know that? Anyhow, just had to get that off my chest before I let you know that today we are chatting about a few things but most notably the pitfalls of being educated. Education can be a wonderful thing, but there is one piece that holds people back in ways that they often don't even realize. Lets get into it!
Is there something you are struggling with and need some support? Email me at email@example.com, I'd love to support you in any way that I can.
be well today
"The fire burns you bright"
Everything that is not true must burn to the ground. When we hold on to our things, our beliefs and ideas that are false, but have yet to examine them, often times we are left feeling stuck and in fear, not knowing why. Today we are going to chat about ways to find the falsehoods in your life and burn them to the ground, so you can set yourself free. And at the end I'm sharing a song of my upcoming album called "Fire Burns," a song that inspired the podcast in many ways and continues to light up, and burn down my life in the best way possible.

Greetings and a happy new year to you! I recorded this episode before the new year, but I felt it was a great way to kick things off as it's all about the reality we are living in and what advantageous we can have when we see things in a new light. It's about to get weird, but I like weird, makes you think, expands on what you've believed is possible.
At the end of the episode I am sharing my first single from my upcoming album, get ready to dance and feel good!!
As always, send me an email with thoughts, questions, or struggles you are having, I'd love to help shed some light on your situation. firstname.lastname@example.org

Happy days to you, I've taken a short pause on making episodes as I've been focused on that end of the year transition where everything shifts and life is yet reborn, but I wanted to get this episode out to you as I know it will shed a lot of light on why we struggle so much in life.

Hello, Hello, how are you? I mean really, how the heck are you? If you can't honestly answer that question, why not take a minute to sit down and write about how you are feeling. On this episode, I am sharing a story that a listener sent in about his life being turned upside down, from losing a great job, to struggling to find new work, feeling stuck in depression and a fit of bad luck. I think this is something, in some ways, that we can all relate to, but I want to divulge and demystify the truth about luck and maybe even open you up to something life changing along the way.
I would very much be thankful if you would be so kind as to leave a review or rate this podcast on Itunes or wherever you listen.
Greetings friends! Today I am focusing on shame and the harmful downfalls that you can go through when it overtakes you. But, as always, I hope to shed some light and offer a new perspective to help you break out of your struggles. A special thank you to our friend who wrote in and was kind and open enough to share her story that sparked this podcast.
As always send me an email if you'd like at email@example.com. Also, please let me know if you are okay with me potentially reading it live on the podcast and whether or not you'd like me to share your first name or not.

Hello friends and fam, I hope you are all having a glorious day, and if you are not, that is okay because you should know it will all turn around soon, perhaps in the next 20 minutes while you listen along. In this episode, I am responding to someone who was kind enough to write in and share something they were struggling with in regards to their current career. It's easy to feel stuck when you've invested so much time doing something that you no longer enjoy but are scared to leave for fear of the unknown. But, as I have personally experienced, it doesn't have to be so scary and can actually be quite freeing. Listen along to find out how. And if you can, leave me a review on itunes to share the love!

Greetings Life Friends! I'm getting ready to leave Spain tomorrow and I wanted to get this final trip inspired podcast out into your ears before flying home. I've been noticing a general theme during this trip that keeps coming up whenever I feel insecure, one that clearly has followed me around for a good portion of my life, not feeling accepted, or wanted. I wonder if you relate... As always, feel free to write me an email with a question or something you need guidance in and I will try and craft an episode around shedding some light on the matter.
I found, after recording this, that there was a slight rustle of my shirt on the microphone, I considered re-recording it, but I liked it way too much to do that, even if it meant slightly better sound. It may help to listen on speakers if you are finding it too loud on headphones, or maybe you haven't noticed, in which case, ignore this message.

Recently a listener wrote in (which you can do as well at email@example.com) for some relationship advice, expressing that she felt as though her needs weren't being met in her relationship but didn't know how to express this to her partner without causing a big stir. Being someone who has spent a large portion of his life in a similar situation, I wanted to record a podcast with some things that I thought might help her, and anyone else in a similar boat, have some guidance. As always, enjoy.

On today’s episode I really wanted to push what was possible on a podcast, especially being on the road, in a foreign country, as I eat and dance my way through a place I have truly come to fall in love with. Spain is home to some of the finest and freshest food in the world, but globally it is not as well known as other countries cuisines because it is so incredibly simple and doesn’t really hold up in this viral and trendy world, which is a good thing. I’ve had some of the best food of my entire life here and I wanted to find a new way to share that with you, I wanted to literally bring you on my journey, so you feel like you are here tasting the food with me, not feeling left out. I hope you enjoy this journey.

I’m always sharing goodies, recipes and insights into the new things I am discovering there.
Recently I put out a new Brothers Green video about cooking and video game addiction and, to say the least, it got slammed pretty badly. While there were a lot of people who enjoyed the episode, I had more negative comments and hate on the video than I have in a LOOONG time, and it honestly messed me up. I was able to make it through and see the purpose of it all but it took some time to get through and I wanted to take some time to share a bit of my creative process and what happens when the negative feedback starts coming in.

Greetings from Spain! I’ve been here nearly three weeks and while the trip has been mostly amazing, there have been some things that have gone terribly wrong and not as planned. So in this episode I wanted to share a bit about some of the unfortunate things that have happened during the trip as well as all the lessons that I have learned and the clarity that has come from going through the tough stuff. I hope this find you well. Much love to you.
Today I am tying this podcast into an episode on Brothers Green Eats that I've been working on for over a month, all about using cooking as a tool to overcome video game addiction. Whether you are someone, or you know someone, that struggles with addiction, I wanted to offer some tips and insights that just may help you out.

Holiday season is just starting to brew, maybe you are excited to see your family, maybe you are dreading it, or maybe you have created your own tradition, but regardless of what you normally do, the holidays are one of the best opportunities to learn and grow from the past. In this episode I’m chatting about slipping beyond your old patterns and beliefs to develop new ones. How can we grow the way we see people and empathize with those that are different than us? Let’s chat about it. For more follow me on @youenjoylife on Instagram.
Hey there friends! Tomorrow I leave for Spain with my wife , we are going for 35 days and couldn’t be more excited. It’s not a work trip and it’s not a vacation, when you are an entrepreneur and run your own business everything you do tends to fall into one blanket, working, having fun, relaxing, it’s all about finding balance, but it can be extremely challenging making your own hours, on today’s podcast I’m chatting about that and a few other things. Nice to have you here. Thank you again, and please give me a five star rating on iTunes if you can and feel inclined.
Happy day to you. Today's podcast hits on a few things, one of the biggest being about the state of the world in relation to marketing and how companies only share what they want us to see, how they use research to get us to buy into them, but how we can use this concept to our advantage. I also share a bit about acceptance and accepting what comes your way, and touch on wondering if my life is boring now. All that and more on You Enjoy Life. Enjoy and share with a friend who needs to hear this.

In conjuction with a video I just released on Youtube that you can see here: https://youtu.be/mpGo3NOzMTs I wanted to share a bit of my story going from someone who used to take a ton of medication to only using food as medicine over the last ten years. I am not a doctor, so I'm not here to give you medical advice, but more so to open your mind up to new possibilities, to see how food can be preventative medicine and help you feel better in your life. It's pretty wild when you think you are going to have to take medication for the rest of your life and then realize that by eating really good and tasty food that you can shift that around. Here we go!
Hi friends, today I'm switching up things a bit on account of a recent death of a family member and talking about a heavy and tough subject, death. While death can have a lot of meanings, and an endless number of different perspectives and beliefs, I do feel it's important to talk about and explore. If any of what I say resonates with you or opens you up to a new perspective, I would love if you shared this podcast with someone you care about. Have a great weekend.
Hey there friends, you know that thing that you really really suck at but wish you could do or learn? I know I've got a long list of those things, many of which, over time I have figured out how to learn and enjoy. In this podcast I am sharing some real-life stories and tips on how to get good at the things you, quite frankly, stink at.
If you do want to check out the first book I wrote, you can buy it or read for free on kindle

Recently I got a lovely message on my instagram (via @youenjoylife) from someone who had started to make major shifts in their life and mentioned how this podcast has helped them. Part of what they brought up was the struggle that comes when you looking around and see everyone else around you seem to have their life figured out when you certainly do not. I wanted to share a story and offer some insight into why you certainly should not have your life figured out, and even the negative that can come when you think that you do.
Follow me on instagram if you like visuals https://www.instagram.com/youenjoylife/
Today I am talking about something that, I'm not gonna lie, might be a bit triggering and emotional to listen to, but I feel it is really important to share. It is my sincere hope that with some of what I share today you will gain some new insight on how to cope with some of the horrific things that are happening in the world or have happened to you. The perspective I am sharing isn't necessarily the most popular one out there but it is something that has profoundly helped me for many years and seeing as how we are going through a monumental time in the world, I wanted to share some of what I have learned about people lying and getting away with bad and sometimes horrific actions.

Today I’m chatting with an old friend and past bandmate of mine, Mike Mignano, who just so happened to create the glorious podcasting app “Anchor," the very one I use to create my podcast. Mike and I chat about what it takes to go from a good idea on paper to raising 10 million dollars of funding and putting that idea into the world, hiring staff, turning vision into reality, and everything else that comes from being in the startup world. We touch on our past days as bandmates in a group called Canon Logic as well as balancing work and personal life on top of being a father. Get ready to be inspired and learn something that just might shift your day in a profound way.

That's right friends, I used to be a private investigator, my first job out of college no doubt. Join me as I share anecdotes from the job and fill you in on some wild details and things I experienced.
The video for this will be out on Tuesday of this coming week.
Good food, good music, and good people make for a great life. I've always had a deep connection to music, something beyond what words can express. One of my favorite things to do is bring people together to create music for the sake of connection and release, to step beyond ego, beyond fear, and to communicate on a deeper level. It took me a long time, but whenever it happens, it's amazing.
To hear the original live writing/recording of the song, you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/fJOU3IB_cKw
When I discovered this it absolutely blew me away and changed my entire life. It’s rare something so simple can cause such a profound shift but it did and it just might for you. Share this message with anyone in need.
Today is as good a day as any to reclaim the life you want, it may sound obvious, it may even sound silly, but the alternative is to stay where you are. So I say get up off of your ass, and step into your life! No one else is going to do it for you yet we can all support one another to thrive, not hang on and try to stay alive. Blast this through your speakers, in your car, sing at the top of your lunges, scream if you have to, reclaim the life you want to live, it is right here for YOU to enjoy.

Recently I had the pleasure to interview Kayla McGowan, a professional Rolfer, and my Rolfer. If you don't know what Rolfing is, prepared to be amazed.
When I first heard about rolfing I had no idea what to expect but it literally changed my entire life. Often times people get massages when they are in pain, but massage, while great for relaxation, rarely fixes the problem. Rolfing is designed to help put your body back to the way it was meant to be, it's honestly a really wild and trippy experience. The first time I went to a Rolfer she showed me how one of my legs was not straight from years or standing wrong and then started her work. At the end of the session I nearly toppled over in giggles and joy when I saw that my leg was now perfectly straight. It's wild, listen in, learn.

Often times we have experiences in life that leave us feeling less fulfilled than we had hoped. But when the lesson is revealed, a great amount of self discovery and clarity often follows. I recently chatted with my friend Adam Roa, spoken word artist and conscious filmmaker, who has a passion for seeking truth and inspiring others to live a great life. Adam and I spoke about his journey from getting crowned home coming king, to feeling unfulfilled by this achievement and ultimately finding his own way to happiness by taking the road less traveled. Adam talked about the things that continue to inspire his journey from moving to LA and pursuing a career in acting, to his filmmaking endeavors, his one-man show “Permission to Think Freely”, his conscious partnership, and his experiences with plant medicine. May this episode inspire you to forge your own path! For more information about Adam and to snag tickets to his one-man show head over to www.adamroa.com FB: https://bit.ly/2raVqTU

Walking around Topanga during sunset, I feel like I’m in a dream. I want to share with you a simple yet profound piece of reality that most times we completely overlook. But when we see it, it changes everything.
Not a lot of people know this about me, especially those that follow closely to Brothers Green Eats, for the last number of years I have been studying Vibrational and Sound Healing, a type of music meditation that focuses on music designed to help you heal. In a lot of cultures around the world they use sound to help you shift your brainwaves and alter your states so as to access higher consciousness and realign with positive energies. We are all made up of energy and matter, and if we are off we lose the connection to ourselves.
Think of a day when you've felt off. Or maybe you feel off now. Listen along and see if something shifts for you, if you follow along, you'll be surprised of all the changes that you notice.
For more information on sound and vibrational healing, check out my website at www.yelmusic.com
