You Got It Dude

By Whitney Peterson

Whoa, baby! You Got It Dude is an Olsen twins retrospective, hosted by Dena and Whitney. After growing up alongside the Olsens through the 90s, these thirty-somethings now take a look back with fresh eyes. Dust off your old VHS collection and join them as they ask age old questions. Do the Olsen Twins movies and TV shows stand the test of time? Can they tell which one is Mary Kate and which is Ashley? And, most importantly, who is the cute one?

Dena and Whitney are back, and maybe better than ever? Or at least the same. This week we pay homage to the father to us all, Bob Saget. We catch up on what's been going on, our latest pop culture obsessions, this new thing called Tik Tok, and other things that really don't make sense out of context. You got it, dude? You get it.

In this very special episode, Dena and Whitney conquer new territory with their childhood favorite: The Babysitter's Club. They look back with nostalgia and horror as they navigate this truly bizarre plot line, and come to realize the brain is in fact the center of the chain.

By special dudette request, Whitney and Dena watch the Jesse and Becky wedding episodes of full house, conveniently named The Wedding Part 1 and 2. Some questions on the table: Is Bob Saget a good actor? Since when is Joey a pilot? Is Michelle too young to identify “hunks”? Also, we get deep into wedding planning and duckdates.

T*by Keith’s I love this podcast

This week Dena and Whitney shelled out actual dollars to rent How the West Was Fun, which may be the most offensive movie and definitely has the most deranged villain yet! Other important topics include why Drew is a hero, the Oprah royal takedown, and Whitney gives us some serious #sportsfan content.

We'll Always Have Passport to Paris

Spoiler alert: One of us makes a major announcement on this episode! We discuss this exciting update, then get into one of our life-long romantic influences: Passport to Paris. Was junior high the center of our universe? Did we fall in love on our European vacations? Did we ever go for a ride on the back of some cute French guy's moped? How does Felicity factor in here? Find out on this edition of You Got It Dude.

“Never show me that again”

“Never show me that again”

Dena and Whitney are fully traumatized after attempting to watch The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley: The Case of the Mystery Cruise for free on YouTube. We also get into Dena's deep love of being a hot mess on the open seas, our pop culture recommendations of the week, and what exactly we sacrificed by not paying $1.99 to rent this film.

Lastly, we cannot overstate this enough: Do not watch this video on YouTube, but totally listen to this podcast.

We talk about our resolutions, 2000s style, and classic New York memories such as late-night bars, drunk tattoos, and watching Prince Harry play polo. Plus, we try to decipher what the hell Andy Richter was thinking with his offensive accent? This movie is required viewing for Simple Plan and Dr. Drew enthusiasts.
