2. Your Partner Isn't Your Everything
2. Your Partner Isn't Your Everything
Welcome to episode 2 of the You, Me, Loving We Podcast! In this episode, Jasmine and Josh chat about how your partner isn’t your “everything”. We often see “unrealistic” ideals of relationships in movies and mainstream media, where two people claim that the other person is their ‘entire world’, ‘I can’t live without you’, and ‘they make me so happy’. However, this doesn’t necessarily reflect a healthy relationship. In healthy relationships, you are your own separate, whole person, and your partner is someone who ADDS to your life. If your partner becomes your “everything”, this can lead to co-dependency, losing a sense of self, and feeling lost. Tune in to hear all about how to maintain a sense of individuality in a relationship, so you can experience a healthy, beautiful love. 1. What Really Is A Healthy Relationship?
Welcome to episode 1 of the You, Me, Loving We Podcast! In this first episode, Jasmine and Josh discuss what a healthy relationship truly means, and how to know if you’re in a loving, supportive relationship. There is so much content out there that focused on “red flags”, and while this can certainly be helpful, too much focus on it can lead to avoidance and even fear of being in a relationship. Jasmine and Josh touch specifically on the “green flags”, and things to look out for to know that you’re in for a great relationship. They dispel some myths about #relationshipgoals and open up the conversation on vulnerability, safety, and security. Tune in to find out more!
