5. Hritika
This week I travel to California to interview Hritika, a 17-year-old, looking into how art and neuroscience have worked together. She's excited about her summer position at ASDRP researching Alzheimer's.
4. Hazal
This week on Young Scientists, I travel to Instanbul to talk to Hazal, a 15-year-old young scientist interested in astrophysics. Hazal and I talk about what it's like to struggle to gain real work experience with internships, and how competitive it can be for young scientists out in the field.
3. Lucy
This week we go to the UK, where I interview Lucy, a student who is interested in synthetic biology. Lucy is trying to get into Harvard and Stanford, and we talk more about the college application process.
2. Michael
We go to Ireland to interview young scientist Michael, who is working to create reusable petrol, harnessing energy from his local area.
1. Celestine
We meet our first young scientist, Celestine, the Editor-in-Chief for the Young Scientists Journal. Celestine tells me about her experiences being a young person in science.
