The Great Gildersleeve is worried about a new water specialist showing up in this 1/26/49 classic episode.  Water though was never more musical as Sounds Like Radio shows us here. There's the watery music from Grandpa (Walter Brennan), Julie London & Bing Crosby provides the protection from being soaked.  While Dean Martin prefers wine, Helen Ward says Not For Me, Emmylou Harris will become a Wayfaring Stranger & even Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme show up Side By Side.  Wowzers, is this a show or what?  OK, now all you have to do is enjoy!

Your Humble Host is back with another treasure from our Vast Library of Sound.  Here we're going to listen to a classic Jean Shepherd Radio show where he tells all about finding a horrible thing in the trash from the back of Dr. Slicker's office.   Grab your seats and hold your sides, this is a funny story and it's one of my favorite Jean Shepherd programs.    If you like it let me know and I'll play more Shepherd shows here in the future.   But for now, sit back and enjoy!

Episode 30 Sounds Like Radio with some really neat music and unusual stuff to boot.  Mills Brothers in stereo, Kojak sings!, Bing goes cowboy and Jo Stafford rounds it out with a smooth one.  They're all here along with The Great Gildersleeve 9/15/48 and Your Humble Host.

Episode 18 Sounds Like Radio has Great Gildersleeve 3/24/48 and the too hot to handle Julie London along with dangerous Bing all with Your Humble Host to cool things off.

Episode 17  sees Dorothy Shay singin' a classic and Bing Crosby jingles his spurs as we all go feudin'.   Then it's time out for Great Gildersleeve's 3/17/48 show on Sounds Like Radio all spurred along by Your Humble Host!

Episode 16 Sounds Like Radio features a cut from Bill Frawley's (Fred/Bub) original rare album and Sinatra gets a song in too with Great Gildersleeve 3/10/48 and all proudly presented by Your Humble Host!
