Having spent many years as both a reed player and music director for community theater, Ande has had the opportunity to become involved in productions on many levels. That involvement includes much of the behind the scenes stage and prep work in addition to the musical aspects. As a musician, Ande freelances as a player, an arranger, and a music director. Ande’s playing focuses on A/Bb/Eb clarinet, soprano/alto/tenor saxophone, and flute/piccolo/alto flute.

His designs have been seen on the stages of major regional theatres, Off-Broadway, on tour internationally, at Carnegie Hall, television nationwide, and around the world for Splendor Seven Seas Cruise Lines. He has been an associate designer on a wide range of projects including Broadway shows and national tours. Travis also designs for IMCD Lighting which creates the lighting for over 120 fashion shows annually during New York Fashion Week.

Interview: Nik meets playwright and director Jeffrey Lo
Tonight on Interview, Sagnik Nag Chowdhury meets Jeffrey Lo. Jeffrey is a Filipino-American playwright and director based in the Bay Area. He is the recipient of the 2014 Leigh Weimers (Lee Why-mers) Emerging Arist Award, the 2012 Emerging Artist Laureate (Lah-ree-eight) by Arts Council Silicon Valley and Theatre Bay Area Director's TITAN Award. His plays have been produced and workshopped at The BindleStiff Studio, City Lights Theatre Company and Custom Made Theatre Company. His play Writing Fragments Home was a finalist for the Bay Area Playwright's Conference and a semi-finalist for the O'Neill Playwright's Conference. Jeffrey has also worked with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, San Jose Repertory and is a company member of Ferocious Lotus Theatre Company and SF Playground. He is also the casting director for TheatreWorks Silicon Valley.

In tonight's interview, Samantha Belding talks with Tony-Award Winning Broadway Producer Randy Adams. Randy is a founding partner of Junkyard Dog Productions (JYD), a theatrical producing company dedicated to the development and production of new musical theatre. JYD is currently represented on Broadway with Come From Away which is the winner of the Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, Helen Hayes and Dora Award for Best Musical of 2017. The National Tour of Memphis (by Joe DiPietro and David Bryan) completed a successful multi-year run following an almost three year run on Broadway. Memphis is the winner of the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Musical of 2010. First Date premiered at Seattle’s 5th Avenue /ACT Theatre prior to its Broadway run at the Longacre Theatre. Since its inception in 2006, JYD has also produced Make Me A Song, The Music of William Finn off-Broadway at New World Stages (Drama Desk nom., Outer Critics Circle nom.) and in London and Vanities, A New Musical at Second Stage Theatre. Prior to creating JYD, Randy was the Managing Director at TheatreWorks in Palo Alto from 1984 to 2006.

Gabrielle is a film-maker and screen writer, whose short film “Contentment” was a quarterfinalist for a Los Angeles International Screenplay Award. Gabrielle has worked on numerous television shows, including Saturday Night Live and The Affair. She is currently assistant show runner for HBO’s The White House Plumbers and was personal assistant to Justin Thoreaux and assistant show runner on Apple TV’s The Mosquito Coast.

In tonight's interview, Samantha Belding interviews Emily Borromeo. Emily is an actress and singer who has appeared on Broadway and in the National Tour of "The School of Rock," performed in the original cast of the Joe Iconis Off-Broadway musical "Broadway Bounty Hunter," and has numerous other Off-Broadway and regional theater credits. Emily has also appeared in numerous television shows including "Sneaky Pete" and "Tell Me a Story," and served as one of the hosts of Sprout TV/NBC Universal's Emmy nominated "Sunny Side Up Show." Emily also competed in NBC's "The Sing Off" with her acapella group "Element."

Sagnik Nag Chowdhury interviews Brian Miller about his dedication to comedy and performing, which has led him to create and perform content for theme parks ranging from Great America to Disney World. He has been in more than 1,600 performances of the "Frozen" show at Disney World, and also appears in the "Hoop Dee Do Review." Local audiences might remember "The Magic Hat" show at Great America, which Brian wrote and starred in. He has also directed and choreographed several shows at Peninsula Youth Theatre, including "Cinderella" and "Beauty and the Beast." Radio Play: The Elves and the Shoemakers
The students of Peninsula Youth Theatre present The Elves and the Shoemaker" - a radio play taken from the original script by Karen Simpson and directed by Caitlyn DeRouin. When Cobb's Cobblers falls on hard times, it's up to the Elves to step in and save the day! But that was a lot easier back in the old days - in 2020 they'll need a SWOT analysis, marketing plan, trending buzz and, of course, amazing design!
Interview: Val Z. meets Nic Rouleau, of "Book of Mormon" and "Hello Dolly"
In the first of our "Interview" episodes, current Peninsula Youth Theatre (PYT) performer Val Zvinyatskovsky interviews Nic Rouleau. Nic Rouleau made his Broadway debut in The Book of Mormon. Rouleau began as a standby for original star Andrew Rannells and eventually took over the role of Elder Price, leading the show’s first Broadway replacement cast. He went on to play Elder Price in the Chicago and West End productions, as well as touring with the show across the U.S. He recently starred as Cornelius Hackl in the national tour of "Hello Dolly" starring Betty Buckley and directed by Jerry Zaks. Other credits include Emmett Forrest in the national tour of Legally Blonde and Cowboy Woody for the Disney Cruise Line's Toy Story: The Musical. He performed on the 2012 Tony Awards, and had a guest starring role in an episode of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Before his professional career began, Nic performed in 25 Peninsula Youth Theatre productions, playing such iconic roles as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables and Tony in West Side Story.
