Transcript: Perhaps you’ve only been able to look into Zion Oil & Gas for the first time in a long while. Maybe you’ve just been introduced to Zion Oil & Gas for the first time. I’m starting a new series within this podcast called “Zion Perspective.” This occasional perspective will help you understand Zion's progress as a company and where we are in fulfilling the company's vision to find and produce oil and gas onshore in Israel. Let’s get to it: On November 29, 2018, Zion released the results of the Megiddo-Jezreel #1 well (also called the MJ#1 well). In that press release, the company stated that while the MJ#1 well was non-commercial, we had crucial questions that needed answering. These questions were important and meant that it would be wise to continue exploration in the area. We had encountered hydrocarbons during the drilling of the well in 2018. There were indications that essential questions still needed to be answered and that there may still be producible oil and/or gas in the area. Brad Dacus served as Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Phil Gramm and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas, School of Law. Brad coordinated religious freedom and parental rights cases throughout the Western States for five years before founding the Pacific Justice Institute in 1997. PJI has a network with hundreds of volunteer affiliate attorneys and handles more cases on the West Coast than any other legal non-profit organization of its kind.
