the age-old question of head or heart is one that many people struggle with. Some argue that following your head, or logic, is the best way to make decisions and achieve success. It is important to remember that setbacks and failures are inevitable. However, it is equally important to never give up on yourself and the journey towards a healthier state of being. Giving up may provide temporary relief, but it ultimately hinders your progress and growth. You can develop resilience, determination, and a sense of accomplishment through facing challenges and persevering. The road to personal development may be long and difficult, but the rewards are immeasurable. So, no matter how tough things may get, you should never give up on your journey towards a healthier state of being. You can redirect, correct, reset and realign but giving up is not an option.

The impacts of gossip can harmful to your overall health and well-being. Gossip can lead to emotional and mental distress, as it often involves spreading negative and untrue information about others. This can create a toxic environment, leading to stress, anxiety, and even depression. and can harm one's social health by damaging relationships and trust. If someone is gossiping to you about someone else, rest assured they will gossip about you to someone else. Shut down gossip, kindly and quickly - call it out. And yes, that person may not be your friend for long but really, do you need friends that sabotage you?

How and where do we get our thoughts from? There is an invisible intention - sometimes it’s conscious, other times, unconscious. You may know this as a conscious competence ladder model we use in learning. We are not born with habits or trained thoughts, we develop skills and pretty much learn everything except energy. Spirit is formed a long time before the human body is formed. When we are conscious of our intentions we can use them as energetic forces that propel us towards that intentions. Intention combined with action is POWER.

When it comes to spirituality and the metaphysical. What do you believe? Spiritual definition: relating to or affecting the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things.

Mind, body, spirit and soul are connected. They are not separate. Humans are invisible intelligence: our thoughts, our energy, our feelings are forces that drive us and are the opposite of the physical.

We all have a spirit, we all have a soul - dependent on our beliefs we may believe in something bigger than us. Call it cosmo, universe, god or the ethers. It’s something infinite and intangible.

Have you ever wondered why that thought comes into your head or why you believe what you do? You get a gut instinct, an inclination, something that responds deep in your stomach/gut. How you may know something but you have no evidence. This is the soul, the unconscious, the invisible that observes everything within us from sensation, thought, action and experience. You are phenomenal and have magical power.

Loneliness is one of the biggest phenomena we are experiencing as humans. After a period of separation during covid, the climb on loneliness continues to rise.


First, we can look within ourselves to learn about ourselves and what makes us tick. By being our own best friend, we can learn to embrace loneliness and find the courage to take small steps to feel more connected to ourselves and others. Social anxiety is on the rise too, making it harder to putn in the effort to taking action.

Money on your mind?


That's true for a lot of people and we can find ways to be creative with the money we have. Whilst I do not profess to be a finance expert, I do believe having a mentally good attitude with money.


Most of us have rent or mortgage to pay. First things first, we all have to pay someone something for a roof over our heads. If your rent or mortgage is becoming overwhelming here's some options: Remember this situation is temporary and not forever, you are trying to get some breathing space from the crunch.

1. Speak to your mortgage people and/or landlord for a temporary or permanent solution to lower your rent/mortgage for a period of time, extend the lease or mortgage over a great period to give you some grace right now.

2. A payment holiday period.

3. If you have space in your home that you can lease out (be picky about your roomie!) this could get your extra money, or perhaps someone can come and use your space as an office for a fee. Win win for both people.


Most of us have utility bills. 

4. Call each provider and ask what other options for those in financial poverty. 

5. Shop around for better deals (links below)

6. Most of us have some fuel in our household. Can you offer your car as a car pool or travel with someone else in a car pool? Share the cost.

7. About credit cards... you can find cards that have a benefit. Example, if you are dreaming of a holiday, join avios.com or collect points through your credit card that give you something back.

8. If you have a student friend, ask them about Unidays. Students often get discounts they never use, what's the harm in finding out if they can help you out.

9. If you are a foodie and like variety but often waste food or ingredients, why not team up with someone else or others to do a join shop at costco and buy in bulk and split the food and the cost.

10. If you like variety of food and are bored of eating the same thing. As friends to cook a meal and all share one meal each so you get theirs and they get yours. 

11. If you commute to a workplace, work with your company to allow you to travel off peak times.

12. If you don't need to replace something until a sale, hold off. Borrow until you can get it cheaper, sign up for email notifications to places you shop. Often if you sign up you'll get a discount code.

13. When shopping for insurances (home, contents, travel, car etc) check websites like avios.com shopping portal to collect points.

What is the difference between a dream and a goal? A goal simply has a timeline and tasks that are baby steps towards that goal. Remember there is NO OVERNIGHT SUCCESS. Manifestation will only happen when you are aligned with your thinking and feeling. Only you know what success looks like for you. Your measure of success can be radically different from someone else's and that is ok. Just remember that when you are asking for advice on finding success, measure against someone's ideals and values that are similar to yours.

Knowing where you are on your map of life is pretty crucial if you want to achieve your dreams and goals. In business we often spend hours discussing strategy, creating plans, maps, projections, budgets along with the outcomes we desire. I bet you don't spend half as much time and dedication tendering to your own goals and dreams. You should.

Once you know where you are NOW versus where you want to be, you can see the distance between the two. Just like a map, if you make a pin mark where you are and plug in a destination you want to go, just like a sat navigation/GPS you can see just how long or short the journey is.  Most people are so surprised that often their goal is within their reach which motivates them into putting in the extra effort to get there. The same could be true for you.

Managing our emotions can be a lifetime practice. We all have varying experiences, no one experience is ever the same. 

When life is rosy and we feel in control, our emotional well-being often gets overlooked because we don't find it necessary to focus on them. Or so we think. When life hands us a challenge, our emotions often get heightened or fluctuate more strongly.

Do you suppress emotion?  Do you think showing emotion as weak, stupid, unmanly, unnecessary, unhelpful? What physical signs do you feel emotion comes out in? Crying, irritation, frustation, anger, anxiety?  

When you use your emotions in a healthy way it can help you in moments of overwhelm or anxiety, grief or some other experience where you are triggered into an unhealthy emotional state.

Emotions are not negative or positive, good or bad, they are. They serve a purpose. When we are tuned in and connected to them, we can leverage them powerfully to serve us well.

Building rapport with your emotions is simply communicating with them, acknowledging them and allowing them to be heard. Once we validate the emotion, the intensity will subside.

Grief is a natural and necessary part of our emotional selves and it can happen unexpectedly and unexpectedly. Often we label grief as a death, a loss of a person. Grief can happen when we lose what we lose or experience a change in our life which takes us away from what was our usual or normal way of being permanently. There are stages to grief and we will experience them in different ways at different times. Grief is so very personal, we can only experience grief as our own and not necessarily be able to understand or recognise someone else's grief.

Queen Elizabeth II's HRH passing triggered a deep emotion within me, although I hadn't recognised it as grief. I was sad and emotions hovered close to the surface and I was also confused why I was not feeling joyful when I am so blessed in my life. That's grief for you. HRH funeral triggered memories of others passing, I longed for the return of loved ones, I longed for parts of my life back pre covid, I longed to express my love to people that were still living yet not in my life at the moment.  This isn't about me, just to share why grief is so personal and unique to each and everyone of us and it's ok to feel grief and hopefully to recognise that it will pass.

So what does that all really mean. That we can predict cycles pretty well and if we observe cosmic law, we can leverage cycles to create the reality we want. We simply have to get still, look for the cycle, get into alignment with what we want and why we want it, then we have to observe what behaviour and patterns we need to stop/start/continue, realigning habits with cosmic law. Believe, trust and allow the process to unfold.

Human beings are made of energy. Why do you think we are attracted to certain things, people, places? Can you explain why you like and feel the way you do towards certain people and situations? 

ENERGY.

You are like a magnet, you can attract and repel energies towards and away from you. If you consider that you transmit and receive energy you are like a radio station. When you are on the right channel and frequency, communication is clear, if you aren't, you will experience interference which changes the quality of communication.

If you want to manifest, you have to have clear communication.

Are my thoughts and feelings aligned?


When you are in alignment between your head (thoughts) and your heart (feelings) that are a vibrational match, you will manifest whatever your desires are. Manifestation does not happen if you sit and wait for it, you have to take consistent action towards your goals, practice your manifestation skills every day relentlessly assuming the feeling you already have your desire.

Is everyday a bit like Groundhog Day?

STOP ✋

When was the last time you just took stock of your achievements. Every day is a new day, you haven't lived this day before so its important to know your intent for this day. What is it you want to achieve? At the end of the day did you stop to consider your achievements.

OR maybe you have launched, created, delivered or executed something to feel proud of. Give yourself a moment to appreciate what your achievements. It's important to sit in your own glory, revel in your success no matter big or small. Reflect on what you did brilliantly and if you were to do it all over again, what would you do differently or not do all together. When you consider these and learn, THAT'S SUCCESS right there.

Celebration is so ridiculously important, as a friend pointed out to me recently. "You will never feel successful if you race from one thing to the next, you'll never feel a sense of accomplishment and pride, to allow yourself to feel excited, appreciative, worthy and to bask and revel in your achievements for a while, that's failure if you fail to do that. You owe it to yourself to honour your achievements, regardless of how big or small. When you set out to do something and you achieved it, wow. That's HUGE"

My friend is wise, sometimes we all forget to just be. I am your reminder to do just that.
