What better way to bring Season 2 of Zombie Beach Podcast to a close than by spending time with one of Dan and Pat's favorite movies of all time, Phantasm, and the ultimate creepy villain played by Angus Scrimm.

Dan, Pat, Jerry, and special guest Mike McShane take (among other things) a retrospective look at the classic 1975 post apocalyptic science fiction movie, A Boy and his Dog which was, believe it or not, the inspiration for the Mad Max franchise.

Not only do we examine the thoroughly bizarre "Rabbits" by David Lynch, but it inspires us to pitch our own movies/shows. Of course, hilarity ensues, made even better as we're joined by our old friend Mike McShane!

Forbidden Planet gave us Robbie the Robot, and Anne Francis as Altaira Morbius ... and a line from the Rocky Horror theme song. But was it really based upon the Shakespeare play The Tempest? Let's discuss!

Dan, Pat, and Jerry focus their shaky-cam eyes on this unique found-footage horror fest, which features some amazing location shots and good use of low budget special effects. But there's some serious debate on whether this movie is worth watching.

Dan, Pat and Jerry discuss what is probably the ultimate Godzilla film, Shin Godzilla, as well as older rubber-suit Godzillas of yore, as opposed to new CGI mega-super-gigantilizilla USA versions that seem to think bigger is better. Is it? Is it really? The jury is out on that one. Also, is it possible that Godzilla isn't really a lizard at all, but a giant mutant newt?

The undead surfers of Zombie Beach return to talk with their friend Pat about the movies Vampire Circus; The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra (and the sequel!); Plan 9 from Outer Space (the classic!); the various movies based on I Am Legend; and many others. They also discuss various shows such as Penny Dreadful; What We Do in the Shadows; and the new version of The Stand (which looks like it will be amazing). Also discussed is Rob Zombie's Werewolf Women of the SS and graphic novels such as American Vampire. You know, all good clean fun.
