Flash Points
Have you seen The Flash yet? If not you'd better a get a move on. Also, you'll probably want to avoid this spoiler filled episode with reflections on the movie, the latest Batman(s) on film and the future of the DCU.
But it's a Batman movie, so we had to talk about it.
Batfleck vs Keat-man: End of Trilogies
This was not intended as another kids takeover episode, but kids being kids they chipped away at us during a country walk in order to make this happen...and then they took over.
In this episode we discuss the forthcoming The Flash movie and how that is the conclusion of 5 character trilogies, our take on Batfleck vs Keaton (aka Keat-man), whether AI can answer our age old debate around our favourite characters Batman and Bond. Speaking of Bond we end up on the topic of the recently re-released Goldeneye 007 for modern platforms and explain to the kids that Fortnite is not the genesis of all characters.
Eurovision Xmas Song Contest - 100th Episode!
What better way to celebrate our 100th podcast episode by than also celebrating Christmas, and in particular with Christmas songs. In this show we invited our podcasting friends, Dave from the Geeky Guys and Al from Separating the Elite from the Chav to help decide the greatest Christmas Song of all time. In true Eurovision style, we go through a final shortlist of 20 festive classics and then our respective juries dish out the points to see which number will be crowned the winner. Spoiler alert - it's not Las Ketchup.
This is a Spotify exclusive episode and premium members will get to hear every song in full.
Grab yourself a mulled wine and enjoy over an hour and a half of festivities and nostalgia!
Zimmer Vs Williams: Dawn of Man
Batman vs Bond: The Rematch
Indiana Jones and the Crunchy Nut Clusters
The kids also gatecrash, demand a second trip to the arcade and have to settle for the Evercade instead.
Soldier of Hell hall of fame character of the month: Maverick (from Top Gun)
Babylon Two
No not Christmas - it's the gateway to Summer, otherwise known as the Eurovision Song Contest. This year Sam Ryder's Space Man has made Andy cautiously optimistic about the UK's chances.
We also discuss the Indiana Jones franchise, touch on Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, drink some beer and take the dog for a walk.
Join us for the emotional rollercoaster.
The Batman Deep Dive
We're going deep on The Batman. So deep we nearly fall in a lake we're walking round whilst we ramble on about the latest movie starring one of our all time favourites. Is this the best film in the franchise yet? Is this the best Catwoman on screen? Join us for a wander around a country park with a rebellious dog as we talk all things Battinson and friends.
Haven't seen the film yet? What are you waiting for!!!
Sequel Selective Amnesia
Eat Sleep Marvel Repeat
So it's a straight-forward new year chat this month about recent Marvel releases and how much we've enjoyed them. For once, you get the Ronseal style of podcasting.
This month's Soldiers of Hell nomination: all the Spider-Man (Spider-men? Spider-mans?)
Christmas Crossovers
Join us for a festive special where we discuss all sort of movie and TV crossover theories. We learn what a Vin (Diesel) diagram is and why Andy is at the centre of it. There's discussion about Aliens, Predators, Blade Runner, Fast and the Furious, Jaws, The Italian Job, It's a Wonderful Life, Scrooged, Muppet's Christmas Carol and most importantly The Princess Switch.
It's time for a nostalgia overload. It's a real cracker.
This month's Soldier(s) of Hell is the Vanessa Hudgens battalion. She plays every character.

Commando GroupWatch
In the continuous hunt to find new ways to stay entertained together whilst remaining physically apart, we test out the Disney+ GroupWatch feature and delve into the ever increasing portfolio of streaming content. This time we invite our friend Dave from Geeky Guys to remotely join us showing our appreciation for the 1985 Arnold Schwarzenegger classic: Commando. So grab a beverage and some snacks, get comfy on the sofa and cue up the movie. Get ready to hit play at the same time as our countdown and listen along for our first ever alternative to a directors commentary.

SAW Christmas
Nothing says Christmas nostalgia like Stock Aitken and Waterman. Although it seems that their Christmas output is limited. But that doesn't stop Spence trying to put together the ultimate SAW Christmas playlist. Yes it might end up being contrived, but it's 100% pop perfection.
Join Andy and Spence on their walk through a country park and hear them decend in to jokes good/bad enough to make their kids cringe; just like the tunes on Andy's Alan Partridge playlist.
Cassette Tape Archive: 2001: A Christmas Odyssey
Here's a new one straight from the Cassette Tape archive: a Christmas episode that originally aired on 10th December 2001. Who knew we'd still be taking about the same things 2 decades later? Bond - check. Batman - check. Favourite Christmas song - check. Maybe we've progressed a bit from porn and fart jokes. But in terms of being progressive, how about giving away hundreds of tampons without any irony?
Sit back with a Fox Mulder wine and imagine turning on your AM radio to get warm and fuzzy with the Soldiers of Hell at Christmas.
If you'd like to nominate someone new to join our ranks, please leave us a message on Anchor.

20th Anniversary Ramble
Listen as we navigate the countryside, real ales and pop culture. There's a distinct Halloween vibe to this one as getting lost in the dark activates the scary bits of our imagination and we discuss which horror films it most conjures up. We also discuss Andy's defining Phantom of the Opera moment and coincide with the anniversary of Blair Witch.
Aerosmith seemed to be the main order of the day when it came to soundtrack, but if you're listening on Anchor/Spotify there are a few more belters in there for you.
Listen to find out if we survived, or whether this episode was found in a field like the Blair Witch footage.

Then we get the Battle of Winterfell in the latest episode of Game of Thrones. You won't get spoilers from us on this podcast. But you will get a rundown of all the fake Endgame spoilers we sent our friend "Geeky Guys" Dave who hasn't seen the film yet.
