Why does everyone talk about the “inner work”?
What to ask when it feels like other people & things are in your way.
Sometime it feels like other people or the systems and structures in our lives have all the power and they just keep getting in the way. “If it wasn’t for X, I’d have what I want or I’d be able to do what I want.” It can leave us feeling powerless. The path to reclaiming your power isn’t an easy one but today’s question is a good starting point.
Are you walking your path or someone else's?
There comes a time when you have to start questioning who’s path your walking. Whose prayers are you praying? Whose wishes, desires, wants, and needs are you asking for. Are you sure they’re yours? Or are they what everything else is saying you should have?
Ep. 10: A question about boundaries & receiving
What boundaries have you been crossing and how is it impacting what you’re receiving in your life? Why do boundaries even matter? Let’s get into it today!
3 Questions to get out of burnout & overwhelm
There’s times in life when we hit bottom and wish for something to change or it all feels like it’s just too much and we’d really love if it could be different. These three questions move you from what you don’t want towards what you do want. Beware: once you know these answers you can’t unknow them.
Who are you being too open with?
Let’s talk about why it matters who you share celebrations and failures with, who you spend time with and who you’re listening to. I also talk about how much of our anxiety can be caused by being too vulnerable with too many people and the wrong people. Self confidence, self trust and a strong sense of self are all impacted by the WHOs in our lives.
The Question to Ask That Will Help Move You Forward
So often we get stuck, spin our wheels, plateau and repeat the same thing again and again and again… and again. So let’s ask a few better questions that can be the lifeline you need to pull yourself up and out of the funk. I also dive into a little more about why I get sucked into Human Design and astrology as my own lifeline through life.
Is struggle necessary to appreciate ease?
I was once told that we didn’t need to experience struggle in order to appreciate ease. It sounds decent on the surface but my subconscious filled in lots of gaps and added to the story and actually created something that made me feel more shame, guilt and bitterness towards my life. Life wasn’t always good and easy, I was experiencing challenging, painful, frustrating things so I was always asking, “what am I doing wrong? What in me is still not good enough or broken?” Recently I started asking some different questions about it and I’ve found where my internal story took a wrong turn and I’ve written something new that feels so much better.
The most important question for our current evolution
We’re in the middle of a major transition in humanity. We’re evolving into the next version and it can feel chaotic, painful, ugly, messy, and stressful. I think this one question and awareness is pretty much THE game changer in working through these changes and stepping into what’s next with less struggle. What do you think?
Stop asking, "What feels good?"
Diving into what questions are better to ask after the initial upheaval of self reflection/self healing/inner work where all you’re looking for is what’s wrong and not working. Once you’ve done some of that what questions are better to ask so we get some better answers? There’s a good chunk on why I hate when people tell you to “just do what feels good” or “follow what feels good to you” and how that often keeps you stuck and repeating cycles instead of moving forward into the life you want to be living.
The Questionable Podcast (Trailer)
A brief intro to what this podcast is about.
Can't or Won't?
If you feel like you’re a procrastinator, inconsistent, or lazy this episode is for you. Mid-cleaning vibes I stopped dead bc I had nothing left to give and my room was still a giant mess. I started contemplating how often I was told I wasn’t good enough bc I was a procrastinator or I didn’t finish things before moving on to something else. Not to mention a didn’t giant fear of being called lazy. So I started asking myself some better questions about todays messy, incomplete project.
What question gets you the most out of any program, book & mentorship?
Universalized vs differentiated teaching: What question to be asking yourself as you are learning from someone else so you get the most and the best out of what you’re giving your time and energy to.
If you’re a Projector I cannot recommend this episode enough. I share a major realization that I’ve recently had that is a game changer for getting out of your bitterness and into your success.
I talk about my experience with Amanda Frances’ Money Mentality Makeover* as I go through it again and how being told by another mentor, “you’re not so special that it works for everyone except you” has been a ball of shame, failure and “you’re not good enough” stuck deep inside me for 7 years.
*love it, btw. I’m not a hater and I’ll never be the type to call people out or criticize others anyway. Just get this clear right up front.
