WIPS, Trans rights, classics and healthcare

We both talk through various topics, from my hatred of the BBC to a few of my projects that I have in the works. I also open up about my experiences in terms of trans rights, and talk about mental health and the stigmas that surround this. In this episode I talk to Rachel, poet, organiser and head of the Winnow Magazine. We both talk about their role within it, the motivations as to why they set it up, ect. We than talk about the piece they submitted to my literary magazine entitled: "brandon" - a piece about family loss and what inspired them to write about that. We also talk about the future of the Winnow Mag and varying plans and what is next for rachel in terms of the mag and their personal career - as she releases a chapbook.

This episode features Valantine, a person who is exceptionally passionate about the rights of LGBTQ+ people. We discuss the ideas behind her creative process as well as problems within the education system within the UK and how there is a gap between secondary and college in terms of maturity. We also talk though issues based within the education system and how the representation of minority characters should be a staple of all writing.

Legacy, non-profits and the concept of death of the author
This episode is comprised of two interviews.
First of the two interviews in this episode is Riya, representative of The Young Writers Initiative (TYWI) and walks me through their services. We also have a talk about legacy and how to confront those feelings and how I wish to start a non-profit.
This episode I interview a regular guest on the show, Lotti. We discuss the idea of the death of the author and how this works within literature and how political ideas are "baked" into the writing of various authors from JK Rowling for her transphobia to various authors like Margret Atwood.
