Unity brings maturity, Eph 4
Christ as Supreme; Colossians 1
When the storms come; James, Romans, and Mark
Bringing Camp Home; Colossians 3:16-17
This was the last message I preached before she passed away. This is the last message she heard me preach. And it is a very important message that I pray will motivate you to seek Jesus daily in the Word. I will be honest, currently I am struggling to read. I'm struggling to study. I'm struggling with my calling. Not because I am questioning God or because I don't trust Him, because I do. He is either sovereign, or He isn't. There is no in between. I'm just so heart broken and my other half is gone. I have a mortal wound that isn't healing. I have faith that it will one day...but it's not right now.
I did not include the Anchor commercial in this episode, because I just wanted everything to focus on the message. I feel this is a very important message for the church and I pray it will be an encouragement to you in your walk with the Lord. Please like, share, and subscribe to help get the message of the Gospel to as many as possible. I appreciate your support and your prayers. We covet them. God bless.
When God doesn't make sense - Habakkuk 3:17-19
This message was given on June 27th, 2021 at Baymeadows Baptist Church during our Sunday night service. Habakkuk is a prophet that is relatively unknown. When you read Habakkuk, you can see and understand his prayers to God. "God, are you hearing my prayers?" "How long will the evil in our society continue?" "Why is it that it seems evil continues to prosper and the godly continue to suffer?" Any of those questions sound familiar? Ever prayed those prayers? Ever felt that way? Then I encourage you to listen to this message with an open heart and listening ears, and even a pen and paper. I pray this blesses you and you will consider partnering with our ministry by liking, subscribing, and sharing this podcast. If you have a comment, please share as that helps us get the Gospel out and grow our audience. Thank you for listening and God bless.
Impromptu Message - Colossians 3:1-4
This message was given on June 23rd, 2021 at Baymeadows Baptist Church during our Wednesday night student service. I was not scheduled to speak this week, and found out that I would be speaking 2 minutes prior to our service starting. Colossians 3:1-4 was what I had read that day during my devotion time, so that is what I shared that night. I pray this blesses you and you will consider partnering with our ministry by liking, subscribing, and sharing this podcast. If you have a comment, please share as that helps us get the Gospel out and grow our audience. Thank you for listening and God bless.
The Loving Father - Luke 15:11-32
This message was given on June 16th, 2021 at Baymeadows Baptist Church during our Wednesday night student service. Everyone has heard the "The Parable of the Prodigal Son", however I don't believe that is the best title for the parable. I think the main character here and the point is "The Loving Father." This is clearly a picture of how much God loves us, if we are lost in our rebellion or in our religion. He is a good, good, loving Father who loves us first and took the first step to bring us into reconciliation with Himself. I pray this blesses you and you will consider partnering with our ministry by liking, subscribing, and sharing this podcast. If you have a comment, please share as that helps us get the Gospel out and grow our audience. Thank you for listening and God bless.
#lifegoals; Colossians 2:6-10
This message was given on June 6th, 2021 during our Sunday morning worship service. I was given the opportunity to preach during our graduation service. This message is for more than high school graduates, this is for all of us as believers and followers of Jesus Christ. We need to be rooted, built up, and established in the Word in order to grow, withstand the storms, and know the real Gospel in the midst of many counterfeits. The point of the message is, "Our life goal: Be rooted, built up, and established in Jesus Christ, our Sovereign Savior." I pray this message is a blessing to you. Please consider partnering with our ministry by liking, sharing, and subscribing to this podcast. If you are so inclined, please leave a comment and that will help us spread the good news of the Gospel and help make disciples among the nations. Thank you and God bless.
James Study: "Faith produces Actions" - Trails produce Maturity, 1:2-8
James Study: "Faith produces Actions" - Intro to James; 1:1
This message was given on May 12th, 2021 during our Wednesday Night Student Service. This is the first of several messages from the book of James and I am excited to start this series. In this introduction we discuss when the book of James was written, who the author is, why it was written, and why we are going to study this book. The overall theme for the series is "Faith produces Actions", and the point of this message is, "If James was able to surrender his life to his brother, what is keeping you from fully surrendering to Jesus Christ?" I pray this is a blessing to you, as well as the remainder of this series. Please consider helping this podcast by liking, subscribing, and sharing, in order to help us spread the Gospel and grow our audience. God bless you and thank you for listening.
Share your story; John 4:25-42
This message was given on Sunday May 16th, 2021 at Baymeadows Baptist Church during our Sunday evening service. This message is an encouragement to believers to share the good news of the Gospel with a lost society. Jesus reveals Himself to an unnamed Samaritan woman and she immediately goes and tells her entire town about Jesus. She doesn't allow her past, her inexperience, or the labels that society has put on her to keep her from sharing her story and inviting people to Jesus. I pray this is an encouraging message to you to have the desire and confidence to share what Jesus did for you with those in your world. Please consider partnering with the ministry by liking, sharing, subscribing, and giving a review on iTunes. I appreciate your support and your willingness to help me share the Gospel with the world. God bless.
Prayer - Luke 11:1-4
This message was presented on April 18th, 2021 during our Sunday night worship service. Prayer is pivotal to the life of a Christian. Jesus lived a life of prayer and gave us a road map on how to pray here in Luke 11. I pray this will be a blessing and an encouragement to you in your walk with the Lord. Please considered partnering with this ministry by praying, sharing and subscribing to the podcast. God Bless you.
Romans 10 - Impromptu message
This message was given April 14th, 2021 during our Wednesday Night Student service. I normally teach every other week, and another Student Leader teaches. This particular week I was not supposed to teach, but something came up last minute and I needed to teach. I had not prepared anything this week, so when I got home I started praying and He gave me this. I pray it is a blessing to you and an encouragement in your walk with the Lord. Please consider partnering with this ministry by praying, sharing, and subscribing to this podcast. God bless you.
Open Gym March 26th - 2 Corinthians 5:14-21
This message was given during our Friday Night Open Gym on March 26th, 2021 at Baymeadows Baptist Church. We have an Open Gym at our church each quarter. We play games, eat some food, and preach the Gospel. This is an outreach event for students who don't typically come to church, but will come for games and food. I focused this week on 2 Corinthians 5 when Paul spoke about being changed by the Gospel and now we are ambassadors for Christ. At the end of the message, I asked who in the room would commit to sharing the Gospel, and every student stood up. You can hear it in the audio. Praise the Lord! If they stay true to this commitment, it will change their worlds and start a revival in Jacksonville. And, it means that the next Open Gym should be completely packed! This week we had almost 30 students and 6 adults. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us next time.
I pray this message is a blessing and an encouragement to you in your walk with the Lord. Please consider contributing to 2:20 Ministries by listening, sharing, and subscribing to the podcast. Thank you and God Bless.
Jesus: The Master Teacher - Mark 15:33-34; Psalm 22
A Call to Action - 2 Timothy 4:1-5
This message was given on March 21st, 2021 during our Sunday Evening service at Baymeadows Baptist Church. This message is based off of Paul's charge to Timothy to preach the Word! We need to get busy preaching the Word of God in our society in order to get the Gospel out to the world, and keep the false teachings out of the church of Jesus Christ. The false teaching of progressive "christianity" is at an all time high and has made its way into the evangelical church. If we aren't prepared to fight the battle against false teachings, then we will be overtaken. Read the word, study the word, preach the word, live the word! I pray this message is a blessing to you and encourages you in your walk with the Lord. Please help me share the good news of the Gospel by listening, sharing, and subscribing to the podcast. You can find 2:20 Ministries on all major podcast providers. Thank you and God bless.
Effects of the Gospel, Part 4 Revisited - C.R.T., Intersectionality, and Wokeness; Romans 12:16-18
This message was given on Sunday February 28th, 2021 during our Sunday night service. I delivered this message a few weeks ago to the students on a Wednesday night. During this message, I gave more in depth definitions of Critical Race Theory, Intersectionality, and Wokeness; and how each of these have found and have been welcomed into the American Evangelical Church. I pray that this message blesses you and helps you see that Marxist, anti-God, man made philosophies have no place in the church and that scripture is sufficient. Please consider supporting this ministry by sharing and subscribing to the podcast. I hope to bring some new content soon. Thank you and God bless.

Verse 9 we started to see the effects of the Gospel in the life of the believer, and this week we continue in verses 19 through 21 with Part 5 and the conclusion of the "Effects of the Gospel". The point of this message is, "The Gospel transforms us into agents of grace and mercy, and causes forgiven people to forgive and loved people to love." I pray this is a blessing to you and it encourages you in your walk with the Lord. Please follow, like, and share this podcast and help me share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. Protect your mind-Social Media; Proverbs 4:20-23 - Student Audience
This message was presented on Wednesday January 20th, 2021 during our Wednesday Student service at Baymeadows Baptist Church. This message was geared toward a student audience in reference to the dangers of Social Media, and how it is destroying our culture and how our children are being attacked. Social Media has become, as I refer to it, "the golden calf" of our society. It is addictive and destructive to our families, our children, and society. I highly recommend watching "The Social Dilemma" on Netflix as a follow up to this message. There is also an "Adult Audience" version of this message that is available. Thank you for listening to this podcast. If it is a blessing, please help me spread the good news of the Gospel by subscribing and sharing. I promise you, my intentions are not for personal gain, but to bring the Gospel around the world, and encourage the church of God. You can find this podcast on all major podcast providers, as well as my podcast platform, Anchor.

Christian Misfits - Romans 12:2
Hello listeners!
This message was presented on Wednesday October 28th, 2020 during our Youth Service. If you haven't listed to "Surrender - Romans 12:1", you need to listen to that message first, then listen to this one. Being a Christian Misfit is what we are called to be in this passage. I share 3 definitions of "misfit" during the message; 1. a person whose behavior or attitude sets them a part from others in an uncomfortably conspicuous way; 2. something that does not fit or that fits badly; 3. a person who is not suited or is unable to adjust to the circumstances of his or her particular situation. We are called to not conform (change from the outside in), but be transformed (change from the inside out) by changing our way of thinking. The devil uses the same 3 tactics since the Garden of Eden to try to conform us; the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Jesus perfectly combats all 3 when the devil tempted Him in the wilderness. We cover all of this during this message.
I pray that this message blesses you and encourages you to not allow the culture to conform you into a sheep, but instead you fill your minds with the things of God, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, change from the inside out.

Surrender - Romans 12:1
Hello Listeners.
This message was presented on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 during our Wednesday night Youth Service. This message covers the highlights of Romans Chapter 1 - Chapter 11, which leads to Romans 12:1. When the bible says, "Therefore", you have to find out what the "Therefore" is there for. This message means a lot to me, and I pray that it blesses you and encourages you to completely surrender your life to the lordship of Jesus Christ. I encourage you to share this message with anyone who wants to know what we believe as followers of Jesus Christ. This is salvation message, a faith building message, and some Theology 101.

Community - Part 2; I Corinthians 12:12-27
Hello listeners! I'm so sorry it has been such a long time since I have added content. My family recently bought a house and moved, so we have been very busy. This was the first time I could sit down at my computer and upload this message. I will be uploading 2 more in the next couple of days.
This message was presented on September 16th, 2020 at Baymeadows Baptist Church during our Wednesday night Youth Service. This is the second and final part of our "Community" series. There may be more in the future. During Part 1 we talked about how we are a family of believers. This message focuses on us being the body of believers. I pray that it blesses you and helps you see the importance of being connected to a local body of believers and how we all need each other. That is how God designed it.

Community - Part 1; Act 2:42-47
This message was presented on Wednesday September 2nd, 2020 during our Student Wednesday Night Zoom meeting. This was our last Zoom meeting, as we have gone back to meeting in person as of Wednesday September 9th. We are starting a short series about Community and why it is important for us as a church family/body/bride to be in community and that we were created to be in it. This is a short message and I had to do a lot of editing due to quite a bit of dogs barking. If there are a few areas that sound patchy, that is why and I apologize. I pray this message will bless you and help you understand why it is so important that we do life together, and not try to figure it all out on our own. God brought us together on purpose and we are to love each other just as Christ loves. That is a convicting statement, and one that makes me examine my life and pray bigger prayers for God to change me and my heard to be more like Him. Please like, share, and subscribe to this podcast and help spread the good news of the Gospel. This podcast can be found on all major podcast platforms such as Apple, Spotify, Google, and my great podcast provider, Anchor.fm. You can also find this podcast on Faithcast.com. Joy in All Circumstances Updated 2020
Hello Listeners! This message was presented on August 23rd, 2020 during our Sunday morning service at Baymeadows Baptist Church. If you've listened to this podcast, you know that I've recorded this message previously and posted it during the height of the pandemic. I have never preached this message at my church and felt that it was an appropriate time to share it. Our world can be very heart breaking. There is so much surrounding us that can cause depression, worry, and anxiety. I felt like this was a good time to remind everyone that we don't look to our circumstances for our joy, we look to God. When our eyes are fixed on Him, "the things of this world will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace." I pray this message will bless you and remind you to focus on Jesus, as He is the source of Joy in All Circumstances. I apologize for some of the sound quality issues. I tried to fix them all, but some were beyond my capabilities. Thank you so much for listening and supporting this podcast. Please share and subscribe in order for us to continue to spread the good news of the Gospel the world. You can find 2:20 Ministries on all major podcast platforms, on my provider, Anchor.fm, and on Faithcasts.com. Daniel Series; Part 6: Chapter 4, "Blessed from Broken"
This message was presented on Wednesday August 12, 2020 during our Zoom Student meeting for Baymeadows Baptist Church. We are continuing our Daniel Series, and chapter 4 is a really great chapter. The king is broken by God, in order for him to realize that God is sovereign, He is the One True God, and to surrender his life to God. The point of the message is: Sometimes God's greatest blessings are allowing us to be broken in order to bring us to repentance. I pray that this message blesses you and encourages you to surrender your life completely to the Lord. If you have been blessed by this podcast, please consider liking, sharing, and subscribing. Thank you for listening and for your support. You can find the podcast on all major podcast providers, Anchor, and Faithcast. Visit Faithcasts.com to discover great Christian podcasts like this one to help you keep the faith. God Bless.
Daniel Series; Part 5: Chapter 3 "Faith produces Obedience"
This message was presented during our Zoom Wednesday Night meeting on August 5th, 2020. Our church has decided to go back to Zoom meetings on Wednesday nights for the time being, due to the COVID 19 cases increasing in our area of Florida. We are also posting our Zoom meetings on Facebook Live on our Student Ministry Facebook page, B.Y.G. - Baymeadows Youth Group, and on the 2:20 Ministries Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Gal220Ministries). I started a series in the book of Daniel at the beginning of the year. We put the series on hold when the COVID outbreak occurred and we started meeting on Zoom. If you haven't heard the first 4 parts, please take some time and listen to them also. The point of this message is "Faith produces obedience, obedience produces deliverance, deliverance brings glory to God." This is one of the most famous events in the Bible, and I pray that this message will bless you, and encourage you to stand in the face of our pluralistic culture, and worship and obey the one true God. Please like, share, and subscribe to the podcast on your music/podcast provider. I've recently changed my podcast platform to Anchor.fm and it has been great. Thank you all for your support and God Bless.
