Episode 11 of the BURN Müsic Shöw includes an in-depth conversation with bass player Russell Russell of the U.K. band, Sky Valley Mistress. We discuss the making of their newly released debut album, Faithless Rituals, including what it was like recording at the legendary Rancho De La Luna studio with co-producer David Catching. Russell describes what it was like growing up and discovering music in his hometown of Darwen, England. We learn about how he’s evolved as an artist and how he became to be a member of, Sky Valley Mistress. The band quickly made a buzz worldwide with their traditional sounding metal music that remained true to the the roots of the genre. With 5 amazing studio albums and one epic live album under their belts, Enforcer have risen well beyond strictly paying homage to a long forgotten era and have successfully become the pioneers of a New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal.
Singer, guitarist and founder of the band, Olof Wikstrand, joins us in episode 9 of the BURN Müsic Shöw to discuss everything from growing up and discovering music in Sweden, to the formation and growth of his band Enforcer. We'll also discover and share some exciting news on potential new releases that could be on the horizon for the band.

In episode 8 of the BURN Müsic Shöw Latvian hard rockers, Bloody Heels, call in to discuss their new single, “Criminal Masterminds,” off their upcoming album, “Ignite the Sky.” Vicky White (singer) and Gunn (bassist) discuss the band’s journey that ultimately got them signed to Frontiers Music SRL and their musical influences. Episode 7 of the BURN Müsic Shöw has our first international guests, The Blacklava, call in from northern Italy to discuss everything from life to Rock N’ Roll. Long Island rockers, Adam and the Metal Hawks, call in to discuss the release of their new self-titled debut album. We discuss the formation and evolution of the band including the final roster change that brought in former American Idol Star Adam Ezegelian as lead vocalist. The band discusses their musical influences, song writing process and future touring plans. From Zero were one of the most popular bands to come out of Chicago in the late 90’s. Their first single, “Check Ya,” charted on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Charts and they toured the country with some of the biggest names in Rock. Their drummer, Johnny Dinu aka “Kid” calls in to discuss his journey through the music industry and we highlight his post-Rock success as well. Episode 3 of the BURN Müsic Shöw includes a phone interview with the legendary singer of Chicago’s thrash pioneer band, Aftermath. We discuss Aftermath’s early days, their new catalogue of music and everything in between. The show ends with us making a collaborative thrash inspired playlist for Spotify.

I’ll showcase the importance of viewing opening bands in concerts, because everyone from Van Halen to Alice In Chains were once a supporting act. Additionally, I’ll identify some of my favorite opening bands who I’ve seen and who have ended up becoming amazing headliners themselves. I’m also going to highlight one of my favorite new bands and discuss the importance of supporting independent artists.

In this episode I discuss my love for music and for discovering new artists. I dive into the first album that I ever owned and discuss how it not only shaped my desire for new music, but also transformed and inspired the entire music industry as a whole.
