In producing and sharing Composing Careers, we strive to learn more about how people engage with language in the workplace—whether that be at a 9-to-5 marketing agency or a creative writing program at a university. In every situation that people are forced to use language, that engagement is vital for understanding the ways that we communicate with one another. Through interviews with people in various writing-based jobs, we aim to understand just how deeply affected we all are by language and literature.
