Before Aug. 13, 2004, Akku Yadav thought he was untouchable. A documented rapist and assaulter of young girls, he was known for bribing police officers to leave the crimes alone. Residents even said he got away with murdering at least three people. As untouchable as he felt he was, so too were his victims.

Yes, Akku Yadav thought he was untouchable, until Aug. 13, 2004, when a lynch mob of almost 200 women descended upon him, leaving nothing behind but a gory mess.

The women in the lynch mob were all victims of Yadav’s, from the Kasturba Nagar, a slum area of New Delhi. They claimed that he had been raping women, so many that “a rape victim lives in every other house in the slum.” The women said that he would violate the women as a means of controlling the men and that he had henchmen who would assist him with his dirty work. At one point, he allegedly directed them to gang-rape a 12-year-old girl.

मोहन कुमार, महिलाओ को मरने के बाद उनका मोबाइल भी आपने साथ ले जाता था।  Mohan Kumar, a former primary school teacher from Dakshina Kannada, had admitted to killing at least 20 women between 2004 and 2009 by poisoning them with cyanide. He also confessed to befriending them with the offer of marriage and then stealing their jewelry after killing them. On January 3, 2006, Arathi left her house after telling her family members that she was going to a picnic. Arathi came to Puttur bus stand from where Mohan Kumar took her to Mysuru where they stayed in a lodge near the bus stand. The next morning, Mohan Kumar asked Arathi to remove her ornaments in the room. The two came to the KSRTC bus stand where Mohan Kumar asked her to consume a pill stating that it was a contraceptive pill. However, it was cyanide. Arathi consumed the pill in the washroom. As she collapsed, people in the washroom rushed her to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. Mohan Kumar then went to the lodge and left the place along with Arathi’s ornaments. Following his arrest by Bantwal Police on October 21, 2009, Mohan Kumar admitted to murdering 30 women.  Background music Credit: Liam Seagrave Youtube link for background music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipNqY9wHPqg

Jallianwala Bagh Massacre of Amritsar, Punjab | jallian wala bagh | day of Indian independence

Jallianwala Bagh is a public garden in Amritsar in the State of Punjab and houses a memorial of national importance, established in 1951by the Government of India, to commemorate the massacre by British occupying forces of peaceful celebrators including unarmed women and children, on the occasion of the Punjabi New Year on April 13, 1919.

At 9:00 on the morning of 13 April 1919, the traditional festival of Baisakhi. Reginald Dyer, the acting military commander for Amritsar and its environs, proceeded through the city with several city officials, announcing the implementation of a pass system to enter or leave Amritsar, a curfew beginning at 20:00 that night and a ban on all processions and public meetings of four or more persons. The proclamation was read and explained in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, but few paid it any heed or appear to have learned of it later.Meanwhile, local police had received intelligence of the planned meeting in the Jallianwala Bagh through word of mouth and plainclothes detectives in the crowds. At 12:40, Dyer was informed of the meeting and returned to his base at around 13:30 to decide how to handle it.

West Bengal’s 'haunted' Begunkodar railway station

West Bengal’s 'haunted' Begunkodar railway station

Begunkodor is a hamlet in Purulia district of West Bengal which came into limelight for its shady railway station. There have been sightings of a woman draped in a white saree walking along the deserted railway tracks. Word has it that this woman was run over (or perhaps committed suicide) by a train. The sighting of her ghost has even lead to the death of railway personnel. The government has, however, dismissed these rumours as baseless. In 2009, after being abandoned for 42 years, this railway station once again resumed its services to the public.

The legend of Begunkodar has that in 1967, the stationmaster saw an apparition – a woman in white. She kept returning over several nights. He died of fright. The next stationmaster quit his job, and along with him the other staff. Since then no train had an official stoppage at the station, until the present decade, when Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee rubbished claims of paranormal activity.

Colonel Barog, who was a British railway engineer, was the mastermind behind the construction of the namesake tunnel. By a quirk of fate, Barog had to face humiliation before his co-workers due to a misjudgement in his work. He was further penalised by the government by slapping a fine on him. As a result, he became so depressed with the turn of events that he shot himself dead during a walk. His body at that time was buried outside the tunnel, which is still incomplete

The Story of Bhangarh Fort, India’s Most Notorious Haunted Site | Alwar Rajasthan | fort of bhangarh | Dausa rajasthan

With a sign put up by the Archaeological Survey of India prohibiting visitors post-sundown, the 17th-century Bhangarh Fort stands tall, unbeaten and grim in Rajasthan’s Alwar district. While it was once a grand architectural marvel—built by local ruler Raja Bhagwant Das—today, the sprawling fort and its immediate premises are known as the most haunted site in India.

The history of the fort dates back to centuries. Built-in the 17th Century in Rajasthan, the Bhangarh Fort is an ancient specimen. It was believed to have been erected by Man Singh I, one of the Navratnas of Akbar's court for his son Madho Singh.

The first legend claims that a king named Madho Singh raised the Bhangarh fort after obtaining due permission from an ascetic named Bala Nath who lived there; having agreed to a condition which said that the shadow of the fort must never fall upon the home of the ascetic. But as fate would have it, one of the ambitious successors of Madho Singh added to the fortifications vertically, thereby causing its ominous shadow to engulf the abode of the ascetic. Lo and Behold, once it came to pass, the fort was doomed within no time. The alleged prophecy stood fulfilled, and the Bhangarh Fort became haunted.

A second legend behind the Bhangarh Fort haunted, more popular than the first one, claims that Princess Ratnavati of Bhangarh was responsible for the apocalyptic situation which befell the fort. A local black magician fell in love with her (the princess is believed to have been very beautiful) and once tried to bewitch a cosmetic she was supposed to use, to make her fall in love with him. The princess smelled suspicion and foiled the entire conspiracy of the black magician by pouring the bewitched cosmetic over a massive stone boulder, which then supposedly crushed the 'Tantrik' to death. Before the magician breathed his last, he placed a curse upon the entire landscape that no soul would ever be able to live in peace there. The whole landscape around the Bhangarh Fort has been haunted since.

Reincarnation story of Shanti Devi, that even baffled Mahatma Gandhi | rebirth stories | reincarnation in india | shanti deva | reincarnations | avatars

Reincarnation story of Shanti Devi, that even baffled Mahatma Gandhi | rebirth stories | reincarnation in india | shanti deva | reincarnations | avatars

Shanti Devi was born on December 11, 1926, in a little known town of Delhi. She did not speak much until she reached the age of 4 but otherwise she was just a normal girl like any other in the locality.

At the age of four, the little girl started claiming that the home where she lived was not her real home and that her parents were not her real parents and began to claim to remember details of her past life.

Discouraged by her parents, she ran away from home at age six, trying to reach Mathura. Back home, she stated in school that she was married and had a son with her husband. She said that her husband lived in Mathura (145 kilometers from Delhi) but never uttered his name.

Ian Stevenson found the Shanti Devi case to be correct. He worked long and hard to find infallible evidence on this case and came up with some startling facts which established the veracity of Shanti's claims. Shanti wasn't deluding people after all.
It is often seen that In cases of murder and unexpected deaths, many do remember their past life because the chord of attachment was unwillingly broken and still existed. Accidental or sudden death meant the soul could not easily leave the body it still identified with.
Buddhism and Hinduism believes in reincarnation. Christianity does not. Nor does Islam.

Some say instances of reincarnation are found more in South Asian countries. This could be true, but the truth also is that in many Christian countries, people are bewildered when such cases come to light. In eastern countries the bonds between people are strong and they strongly remember their past lives that they were severed of during the snapping of the soul from the mortal body. The fact that Shanti traced her previous family was because of her desire to meet her son whom she had left behind for her heavenly abode. Stevenson had no explanation of why she was born to the family that she did or why she could remember the details, but his scientific evidence revealed it to be true. Those who do not wish to die but have to, or have some major dissatisfaction, sudden, accidental death with life abruptly cut short, return to sort out the pending karma as per cosmic rule. However, they often end up remembering previous details in their next life that their soul during its unwilling departure from the earthy plane could never erase.

Souls choose parents who have the same frequency as them.
In her later years, Shanti was a calm person in her earthly life and had a profound sense of reality. As a young biology graduate, aware of a very different reality of being, she chose to remain unmarried in life.
Sadly, people want magic and read fairy tales to believe in harry potter, when the secrets of this universe are far more compelling and mysterious and intriguingly beckon us to unearth them.

The Haunted Hospital of Abbott Mount in Uttarakhand | Lohaghat Champawat district Uttarakhand, Jim Corbett

The Haunted Hospital of Abbott Mount in Uttarakhand | Lohaghat Champawat district Uttarakhand, Jim Corbett

A haunted hospital in the pristine environs of Abbott Mount in the Champawat district of Uttarakhand, India is the stuff of spooky stories and films. Local myth has it that a derelict hospital building is haunted. A Dr Morris is said to have done bizarre experiments there and his patients or victims now haunt the place.

It is believed that the Morris Hospital was established in early 1900s. The place has all the ingredients — a haunted hospital, a neglected church and a graveyard — to create curiosity. Villagers tell the tourists about the supernatural forces operating during the night. The ghost stories used to keep people away from the mansion! But, off late, tourists have started invading the spookiest place. Earlier, they used to watch the hospital from a distance, but now visitors enter the premises to make videos and take photographs.

The social media publicity has turned Abbott Mount a popular tourist destination with a large number of youth visiting the place on weekends. It has also helped the place break the fear barrier.

More than the hospital, Dr Morris became famous for conducting experiments on his patients suffering from fatal diseases. The Doctor from Abbott Mount established a special ward called ‘Mukti Kothri’ where he used to shift his seriously ill patients. Many say that Morris used to predict even the death of patients. There are many stories about the doctor and hospital of Abbott Mount.

English men John Harold Abbott established the hill station in the British era. He wanted a retreat from the tiresome life of the plains. Though this was established during the early part of the 20th century, but it has succeeded in keeping its identity till now. Abbott Mount is a hot spot among picnickers. Now even the Kumoan Mandal Vikas Nigam, a unit of Uttarakhand government, has recognised the tourism potential of the area and has established a guest house there.

Ex-Odisha Army Doctor Chopped Wife’s Body Into 300 Pieces | Bhubaneswar

Ex-Odisha Army Doctor Chopped Wife’s Body Into 300 Pieces | Bhubaneswar

Parida had killed his wife Ushasree Samal with a steel torch in a fit of rage in June 2013. He cut her body into 300 pieces and stashed them in small tiffin carriers.

He then hacked her body into six-inch pieces using a surgeon’s scalpel, scissor, saw and a kitchen knife and stashed the body parts in 22 small tiffin containers at his posh residence in Bhubaneswar. He poured phenyl on the body parts to kill the stench.

The murder came to light on June 22, 2013, after Ranjan Samal, his wife’s brother, visited the house along with other relatives to inquire about his sister who did not respond to repeated phone calls from their children staying abroad.

‘Auto’ Shankar: a ride of terror, bootlegger, pimp, serial killer in the Madras of the 80s | Chennai, Tamil Nadu story

Among the many brutal and gruesome murder cases that have rocked Chennai in its recent history, none comes close to the multiple murder cases by ‘Auto’ Shankar and his group between 1987 and 1988.

Born Gowri Shankar in 1955 at Kangeyanallur village in Vellore district, Shankar settled down at Periyar Nagar. Starting out as a painter, Shankar later started driving autorickshaws, transporting illicit arrack from coastal hamlets areas between Tiruvanmiyur and Mamallapuram to the city. His autos were also used for ‘savaaris’ of young women exploited in the burgeoning flesh trade then.

With the help of his younger brother Mohan, his brother-in-law Eldin and trusted accomplices Shivaji, Jayavelu, Rajaraman, Ravi, Palani and Paramasivam among others, Shankar soon established himself as the uncrowned king of all nefarious activities in Tiruvanmiyur. He ran prostitution dens from a line of huts in Periyar Nagar as well as from a lodge on L.B. Road with the connivance of the police.

In 1992, Shankar's five accomplices were sentenced to six months of Rigorous Imprisonment after having been found guilty by a Magistrate. The accomplices were Shankar's brother, Mohan, Selva (alias Selvaraj) and the jail wardens Kannan, Balan and Rahim Khan. They were found guilty of criminal conspiracy and resistance or obstruction by a person to his lawful apprehension.

Subsequently, Mohan was also found guilty of the six murders and was given three life sentences. Mohan had escaped from the Chennai Central Prison in August 1990 and was captured in Pune on 25 June 1992.

Two Pakistani brothers have been sentenced to 12 years imprisonment after the skull of a young boy they exhumed and devoured was discovered in their home.

An antiterrorism court in the state of Punjab found Mohammad Farman Ali, 30, and Mohammad Arif Ali, 35, guilty of defiling a grave, destroying property and disseminating fear. No laws specifically against cannibalism currently exist in the country. The brothers will be able to file an appeal at the Punjab high court, the BBC reports.

In 1983, four convicts in the sensational "Joshi- Abhyankar" killings in Pune were executed together at the Yerwada Central Jail here.

Rajendra Jakkal, Dilip Sutar, Shantaram Kanhoji Jagtap and Munawar Harun Shah were hanged on October 25, 1983.

The Joshi-Abhyankar serial killings were 10 murders committed by them between January 1976 and March 1977. Suhas Chandak, an accused in the case, had turned approver.

The murderers were commercial art students at the Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya on Pune's Tilak Road. They were notorious for drinking and robbing two wheelers.

The first murder took place on January 16, 1976. The victim, Prasad Hedge, was a classmate of the murderers. His father ran a small restaurant behind their college. The killers decided to kidnap him for ransom.

'Beer killer' confesses to 15 murders: serial killer still roaming free | Mumbai, Maharashtra story

Would love to hear from your side via Insta, https://www.instagram.com/nascent_carbon/

On an October morning in 2006, on a foot overbridge close to Mumbai’s Marine Lines station, a lifeless body was found. The deceased, later identified as a taxi driver named Vijay Gaud, had been beaten to death. The incident didn’t get much notice. It was mentioned in a few newspapers, a vague investigation was carried out, and it was forgotten before long.

A little more than two months later, on the morning of 14 December, another body showed up. This time, it was close to Churchgate station, the next stop after Marine Lines on the same local railway line. The victim, a male, was assumed to be a homeless vagabond. Oddly, an empty Kingfisher beer can was found beside the body.

Over the next few weeks till 13 January, corpses kept turning up in the vicinity, and with increasing regularity. In all, seven bodies were found during this three-month period. Either stabbed or clubbed to death, in narrow lanes or foot over-bridges, all of them close to or between Churchgate and Marine Lines stations. Many of the victims were undressed waist down, indicative of sexual assault.

Now there was alarm. A serial killer seemed to be on the loose. The police launched a manhunt, but the killer eluded them. Although only two victims were found with beer cans next to them, newspapers were quick to dub the serial killer the ‘Beer Man’. The cans, we were told by these reports, was his signature.

On 23 August 2009, Jaishankar raped and murdered a 39-year-old police constable, M. Jayamani. Originally stationed at the Kangeyam all-women police station, Jayamani was on temporary duty at Perumanallur, during the visit of deputy chief minister M. K. Stalin. Jaishankar kidnapped her, and raped her several times before killing her. The police recovered Jayamani's body a month later, on 19 September.

The Tiruppur police launched a manhunt for Jaishankar, and arrested him on 19 October 2009. He was jailed at the Coimbatore Central Prison. By this time, he had been charged with 13 separate counts of rape and murder in Tiruppur, Salem and Dharmapuri. He revealed, while remanded in custody, that he enjoyed torturing women before he raped and killed them.

Shankar had earned notoriety as a psychopathic serial killer, convicted or facing trial for the rape and murder of 20 women on highways around Tamil Nadu and Karnataka between 2008 and 2012 while working as a truck driver.

On 17 March 2011, the police took Jaishankar to a fast-track court in Dharmapuri, for a murder case trial. The next day, armed reserve police constables M. Chinnasamy and Rajavelu were assigned to escort him back to Coimbatore. On the way, Jaishankar managed to escape at the Salem bus stand, around 9:30 p.m. On 19 March, Chinnasamy shot himself.

In 2011, Shankar escaped from police while he was being taken from the Coimbatore prison to a court in Dharmapuri. He dodged two constables who were escorting him at the Salem bus stand. One of the police constables committed suicide soon after.

Following this escape from Tamil Nadu, Shankar is alleged to have carried out a series of murders in Karnataka, especially in Chitradurga-Bellary region. He was arrested again on May 5, 2011, after he attempted to attack a woman working in a field in the Elagi village in the Chitradurga area. The woman raised an alarm, bringing her husband and other workers to her rescue. They caught Shankar while he was trying to flee on a motorcycle. They handed him over to Chitradurga police.

Shankar was shifted to Bengaluru central prison on March 14, 2012. In late August 2013, he feigned illness and got himself admitted to the prison hospital. On the intervening night of August 31 and September 1, he fled scaling the 30-foot perimeter wall. The rope he was using to descend the wall reportedly gave way, resulting in the fall that injured his spine.

Horror wears many faces. But perhaps the most chilling of them all is the mask of ordinariness. When cruelty comes calling dressed in the robes of banality, its power to inflict pain and cause fear is enhanced. There is nothing striking about either Seema Mohan Gavit or her sister Renuka Shinde to set them apart. Here are two sisters who could have been just another face in the crowd, but their horrific past has shaped their present and left a noose-shaped question mark looming over their future. As the Pune-based human rights lawyer Aseem Saroday says, “Their ordinariness makes their actions even more horrifying.”

On August 31, 2006, the Supreme Court confirmed the death sentence on Seema and her sister Renuka for killing five children, mostly toddlers in Pune, Kolhapur, and Nashik during 1990 and 1996. Ujjwal Nikam, special public prosecutor, who sought death penalty for them recalls a chilling fact. “We limited the period of killing to six years. However, this had been going on for longer than that. The women could not remember how many children they had killed.”

Seema, Renuka, their mother Anjanbai, and Renuka's husband Kiran Shinde were petty thieves, who kidnapped children to be used as a cover for their activities. It started in 1990 when Renuka was caught pickpocketing at the Chatursinghi temple in Pune. Her son, Ashish, from her first marriage was with her. Renuka used him as her defence, convincing the crowd that a woman with a child couldn't possibly be a thief. On realising that a child could save them from tricky situations, the gang began kidnapping children to be used as a front. And the children would be killed if they became a problem. The  mother and daughters were already charged with petty crimes when they started their killing spree.

Seema's father was a truck driver. Anjanabai's second husband, Mohan, who was Renuka's father, abandoned them and moved in with another woman. He had two daughters from his second marriage; Anjanabai and her daughters started their killing spree with Mohan's elder daughter.

Temple compounds, railway stations, fairs, bus stations… any crowded place was a hunting ground for them. And Kiran Shinde drove the getaway car, a Fiat. Most of the kidnapped children belonged to poor families. “Maybe, the parents tried to file a complaint and were turned away. Maybe, they were unable to do so. The kidnapping reports did not start coming in till very late,” recalls Nikam. The first kidnapping victim was a beggar woman's one-year-old son, Santosh. They used him as a distraction. If one of them was caught pickpocketing, the other woman carrying the child would fling him to the floor. Hurt, the child would start crying and it would create a commotion and distract the crowd. Later the child would be ruthlessly killed if it became a nuisance or a burden. “Santosh was hurt when he was hurled to the floor. Denied medication, the baby's wounds festered and he was crying uncontrollably. Anjanabai shut him up by bashing his head repeatedly against an iron rod,” says an investigating officer. The sisters watched their mother's gruesome act while munching on vada pav.

This story was suggested by one of the listeners, Gautham Krishna on Instagram.

Psychopath killer Udayan Das from Bhopal not only killed his parents but also girlfriend.

the only son of PK Das and Indrani Das, Udayan Das confessed killing his parents in Raipur in 2010 and buried their bodies in front garden of their home and then sold the house to an advocate through forged land documents. These murders were unregistered till February 2017 and came on surface only when he was arrested as suspect in disappearance of a 28 year old girl Akanksha alias Shweta from Bankura.

His parents had no cordial interaction with neighbours and their relatives therefore no one cared about disappearance.  Indrani Das was an official in provincial government and second wife of PK Das and real mother of Udayan Das. Neighbours claim that Indrani was a quite authoritative woman and a strict mother and she never allowed Udayan Das to mingle with children of neighborhood till Udayan went to college. Udayan has no friend in his neighbourhood and school because he was an introvert personality and spent maximum time in his room with his computer and internet games.

Udayan told neighbours that his parents had shifted to United States.

Udayan Das has confessed triple murder but police believe that a bootlegger who used to provide liquor to Das mysteriously disappeared from locality two years ago was also murdered by Das. However, Das is not confessing this murder.

It may be mentioned that Udayan Das was arrested in February 2017 in an extra ordinary complicated disappearance of a young girl who lived with him and she left for United States officially but she was actually living in Bhopal till her murder on July 27, 2016.

Bankura met Das at an airport and then they had developed relations and Akanksha came to Bhopal to stay with Das who had a lavish lifestyle. Their relationship soured when Akanksha pressed Das to get married but he continued avoided their marriage.

Das told police that after strangulating her, he placed her body in an iron trunk, filled it with cement, and later constructed a platform over it in his longue.

The court also on its own framed charges under section 376 (rape) and 377 (unnatural sex) of IPC against Kanda.

Chadha was also charged under section 376 and section 109 (abetting of commission of offence) IPC.

The charges of rape, unnatural sex and its abetment were framed against Kanda and Chadha by the court on the basis of material on record even though the police had not booked them under these penal provisions.

They have also been charged with offence of forgery with intention to cheat and harm the reputation of the victim.

eetika, a former air hostess, who was earlier employed with Kanda's MDLR airlines, was found dead on August 5 at her Ashok Vihar residence in North West Delhi. In her August 4 suicide note, she had said she was ending her life due to "harassment" by Kanda and Chadha.

Kanda was forced to resign from his post of minister of state for home in Haryana following the registration of the case.

The court, while framing charges, said that incriminating materials placed by the police, prima facie established that Kanda has "repeatedly committed rape" upon the deceased during her employment with MDLR and this fact was reflected by her behaviour of leaving the organisation again and again.

vicious thieve have been sitting on the judge's chair for two months.

It is said that Dhani Ram Mittal had also studied LLB. Besides, he had also obtained handwriting specialist and graphology degree. He had obtained these degrees to carry out his theft incident. He used to steal the car and used to prepare his fake papers and sell them. The most interesting and strange act of Dhani Ram is that he sat in the judge's chair for two months. He had been studying and no one had come to know about it. Hardly anyone in the world had done such an act. In fact, he had forged documents and sent him to the Additional Sessions Judge of Jhajjar Court of Haryana on leave for about two months. And instead of him, he himself sat in the chair of the judge. In these two months he is said to have released over 2000 criminals on bail, but many of them jailed with his decision Revealed the case materials sent However, after he had already escaped from there.

There is an interesting story related to Dhani Ram Mittal. He was arrested and presented in court many years ago. Because the judge who was there at that time had seen him in his court many times, so he said that you are my court Get out of it. After this, he got up to leave. The two policemen who accompanied him also got up and went out with him. After that, he disappeared from there. When his name was called in the court, the hands and feet of the police swelled up. , Because he had run away. It is said that he had told the policemen that the judge had told him to go.

Many such stories have been heard in the world, which is surprising, we have brought one such anecdote today. It is said that the rich Ram Mittal had made the theft his profession at the age of 25 years. He was caught by the police for the first time in 1964 when he was stealing. At present, he is almost 80 years old. Don't know where this thief is. This is the first and the only thief to be arrested the most in the history of theft. He was last arrested for stealing in 2016, although he escaped by dodging the police. More vehicles have been stolen from us. The most important thing is that this thief only performs the theft incident in broad daylight.

Wanted in over 100 criminal cases in eight states and sentenced for an incredible 113 years by various courts, Natwarlal had made eight daring escapes from various jails and was the ultimate confidence trickster. He was last seen in 1979, when he audaciously escaped while being taken for a trial in Bombay and since then had been believed dead.

Natwarlal's modus operandi has hardly changed from his heyday. Only the yarn he spins has been updated. Three months ago, dressed in a spotless white shirt and trousers, he posed as D.N. Tiwari, personal assistant to the Union Finance Minister N.D.Tiwari and went to a watch dealer in New Delhi's busy Connaught Place. He told the proprietor, Surendra Sharma, that the Congress(I) Parliamentary Party was having an important meeting in which the members were to be presented watches.

The next day he came back in a chauffeur-driven car and told Sharma to pack 93 watches and send an employee with him to North Block, where he would issue a bank draft. At North Block, the old man strode in confidently, asking Sharma's employee to wait outside. He soon returned with an authentic looking draft for Rs 32,829 and took the watches. Two days later Sharma's bank reported that the draft was a forged one.

He used the trick with variations in different cities. To a watch dealer in Varanasi he presented himself as Ambika Pandey, purchase officer of the district judge, looking for watches to present to the employees. He made off with 80 watches worth Rs 25,000, again by presenting a forged draft. A Shajahanpur watch dealer was stung for 48 watches.

And in Kanpur, a watch dealer in the busy Sadar Bazar even bribed him with a VIP suitcase, while parting with 83 watches. But he tried the trick once too often. Last month when he approached a Gorakhpur watch dealer with the same story, the alert owner called the police, who arrested him.

Devender Singh - Bunty Chor

This guy didn't restrict himself to one particular city. From Delhi to Bangalore, Chennai to Mumbai, this guy has been there and done that. Hardly the most picky thief, Bunty did have a particular weakness for fancy cars and luxury watches. And he was a master escape artist as well. He was able to escape his captors with as much ease as he whisked away with people's belongings. With over 500 reported burglaries, his crime spree was finally brought to a halt when he was captured by the police for good. But that just gave him an opportunity to diversify. The movie 'Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye' was based on his exploits and he was even called as a cast member for season 4 of the reality TV show Bigg Boss. But an honest life wasn't enough for him. The burglar soon returned to his thieving ways before finding himself behind bars.

Super thief Bunty, a class nine dropout, began his life of notoriety in 1993 when he was arrested in New Delhi but gave police the slip.

compulsive thief, Devinder Singh aka Bunty's exploits border on the audacious usually. The super thief is a class nine dropout and he began his life of notoriety in 1993 when he was arrested in New Delhi but gave police the slip.

Bunty is reported to have committed over 500 burglaries with impunity across the country. From Delhi to Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai, almost all the big cities have been privy to his silken craft. He is a master escape artist, giving the police the slip in Delhi, Chennai and Chandigarh after being captured.

The one thing that helped Bunty pull off his audacious robberies was how he tamed dogs, ensuring they hardly came in the way of him pulling one daring theft after other. While Bunty was not very picky about what he stole, he did have a weakness for fancy cars and luxury watches.

He was known to be a compulsive womaniser.

Dibakar Benerjee's movie Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye starring Abhay Deol was reportedly based on his life. In the fourth season of reality TV show Bigg Boss Bunty was one of the contestants.

Oye Lucky plot

Bunty Chor, the thief par excellence, has given the police the slip quite a few times. But in 2008 he was finally captured for real on reel.

Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye directed by Dibakar Banerjee is a black comedy. The lead character in the film goes by the name of Lucky Singh, a loveable thief.

Enamoured by the lifestyles of the rich and famous in Delhi, Lucky socialises with them and then proceeds to rob them.

In the film, Lucky is projected as a modern day Robin Hood with a twist as he robbed both the rich and the poor without prejudice. Nothing was too big nor was anything too insignificant to escape his attention.

The film opens with his trial and charts his rise from the projects of crime ridden suburban Delhi to the very heart of the corridors of power. Along the way he makes lifelong friends, falls in love and manages to outwit the entire law and order machinery.

In a bizarre turn of events, a 37-year-old electrical engineer dug a hole in the terrace of a bank on the outskirts of Delhi, intending a robbery, but ended up struggling for three days before getting nabbed by the police.

The man, identified as Deepak, works for a Gurgaon-based company and had to reportedly pay a Rs 35 lakh loan.

Deepak broke into the bank at around 9.30 pm on August 14 by digging a hole into the terrace of the State Bank of India's Muradnagar branch in Ghaziabad. He then took some rest after getting into the bank and then took stock of the situation. He had two nights to conduct the robbery, August 15 being a national holiday and August 16 a Sunday.

After analysing the situation minutely, Deepak left the bank in the morning of August 15, only to return back in the next morning. He tried hard to break through the strong room using hammers and cutters, but failed. He also visited the washroom and walked out often to breathe in some fresh air.

The bank was surrounded by the police in the night of August 16 after a man visited the ATM attached to the same building and heard some noise coming from the bank. The manager of the bank was called and Deepak was arrested.

It was later revealed that Deepak used to live in Muradnagar prior to moving to Delhi and used to visit the bank often. During his visits, he had discovered that the bank had a weak security system.

Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated at 9:29 a.m. on 31 October 1984 at her residence in Safdarjung Road, New Delhi. She was killed by her Sikh bodyguards Satwant Singh and Beant Singh in the aftermath of Operation Blue Star. Operation Bluestar was an Indian military massacre carried out between 1 and 8 June 1984, ordered by Indira Gandhi to remove the Sikh leader Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and his armed followers from the buildings of the Harmandir Sahib complex in Amritsar, Punjab. The collateral damage included the death of many pilgrims, as well as damage to the Akal Takht. The military action on the sacred temple was criticized by the Sikhs around the world.

The last day of Indira Gandhi.

Indira Gandhi was administered 80 bottles of blood after she was shot by her bodyguards 34 years ago.

Iron Lady of India, Indira Gandhi died on October 31 in 1984. She was shot dead by two of her bodyguards. Her words spoken just the previous day at a public rally in Bhubaneswar had turned prophetic.

Indira Gandhi was reading out from a speech prepared by HY Sharada Prasad, her information adviser. Junking the written script for a few moments, Indira Gandhi spoke about the possibility of a violent end to her life.

She said, I am here today, I may not be here tomorrow. Nobody knows how many attempts have been made to shoot me I do not care whether I live or die. I have lived a long life and I am proud that I spend the whole of my life in the service of my people.

By night on October 30, Indira Gandhi was back in New Delhi. It had been a hectic day for her but somehow she could not sleep well that night. Sonia Gandhi has written in her book Rajiv -- that Indira Gandhi was awake till 4 the next morning when she got up looking for her medicine for asthma.

Indira Gandhi asked her daughter-in-law to call her if she needed any help. Gandhi said that she was awake.

Instagram link: https://www.instagram.com/nascent_carbon/

Divya Bharti (25 February 1974 – 5 April 1993) was an Indian film actress who starred in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil movies in the early 1990s. Known for her acting versatility, vivacity and beauty, she was regarded as one of the most popular and highest paid Indian actresses of her time.[3][4]

Bharti aspired to a film career at the age of 14, while she was doing some modelling assignments. She made her debut with a lead role in the successful Telugu drama Bobbili Raja (1990) at the age of 16. After featuring in high-grossing Telugu films, she progressed to Hindi cinema in 1992 with the action thriller Vishwatma. Bharti went on to have commercial success, appearing in films such as Shola Aur Shabnam and Deewana, the latter of which led to her winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.[5] She acted in over a dozen Hindi films within a single year, which is still an unbroken record in Hindi cinema.

The family room in the house had an open window and it was open. Although the windows had an auto stopping opening but that day there were no auto stop. Divya, at the time when no one was watching, facing her back towards the family room, reached on the tight ledge beneath the window that was around 12 inches wide. She tried to turn around to hold the window and at that very moment, she slipped and felled down with a crash on the solid underneath the window. It was said that there was a parking lot beneath the window, but on that day, not even a single car was parked there.

The whole incident happened in a matter of three minutes and she finally landed down in three minutes. As soon as everyone heard the crash, they came running and found Divya lying in a pool of blood. It was reported that she was alive at that time but during her way to the hospital, her heart beats started falling down quickly.

It was said that on the same date of her death, the actress had finalized a new apartment for herself and she was very happy as it was really difficult to buy a 4BHK apartment in a city like Mumbai and that is the reason she could not stop gushing about the same to her brother Kunal who then left her apartment. She even postponed her movie shoot in Hyderabad because of the new deal and a bandaged foot. She even informed her producers about the same and then she had to meet her dear friend and designer Neeta Lulla and her husband at her Versova flat.

Abandoned and Cursed Ghost Town of Kuldhara in Rajasthan/एक रात में ही गायब हो गया पूरा गांव

Instagram link: https://www.instagram.com/nascent_carbon/

Kuldhara is an abandoned village in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan, India. Established around the 13th century, it was once a prosperous village inhabited by Paliwal Brahmins. It was abandoned by the early 19th century for unknown reasons, possibly because of dwindling water supply, or as a local legend claims, because of persecution by the Jaisalmer State's minister Salim Singh. A 2017 study suggests that Kuldhara and other neighbouring villages were abandoned because of an earthquake.

Over years, Kuldhara acquired reputation as a haunted site, and the Government of Rajasthan decided to develop it as a tourist spot in the 2010s.

Ghost towns and villages hold a charm very different from the ruins of castles and fortresses, mostly because they give us a chance to peep right into the lives of the people who once inhabited them. Being a desert region, Rajasthan has no dearth of ghost villages but few of them have got as much attention as Bhangarh and Kuldhara, perhaps due to the legends associated with them. While we were in Jaisalmer, it was quite natural for us to desire a visit to Kuldhara, and so we did.

In an era of powerful kings and ministers, about 200 years ago, Kuldhara was home to the Paliwal Brahmins. It was during this time that Salim Singh, the Diwan of Jaisalmer, known for his debauchery and unscrupulous tax-collecting methods, set his eyes on the beautiful daughter of the village chief. The Diwan was absolutely hell bent on having the girl and he told the villagers if they came in his way he would levy huge taxes on them.

Known for their extensive understanding of agriculture, the Paliwals were able to grow crops in the harsh, dry conditions of the Thar Desert by identifying areas that stored gypsum rock, a soft mineral made up of 20 percent water, beneath the surface. They also utilized their trading skills to help the community prosper, expanding over time, and living among one another for nearly six centuries.

Parveen Babi: Bold And Beautiful Bollywood diva, who died lonely(dead body found two days after death)/Sushant series

Instagram link: https://www.instagram.com/nascent_carbon/

Parveen Babi (4 April 1949 – 20 January 2005) was an Indian film actress, model, and an interior designer. She is most remembered for her appearances in several commercially-successful films, and playing mostly bold roles throughout the 1970s and early 1980s. Regarded as one of the most glamorous actresses throughout Hindi cinema, she was also one of the highest paid actresses of her time.

With a film career spanning 15 years, Babi appeared in more than 50 Hindi films with a variety of genres. She made her debut in 1973 with the film Charitra, and had her breakthrough with the films Majboor (1974) and Deewaar (1975), where she then garnered the reputation of a successful actress. Babi was notorious for breaking various cultures and stereotypes among few actresses, and was also the first Indian to have appeared on the cover of Time magazine.

Babi retired from the film industry in 1985. She had remained unmarried after a string of relationships with Kabir Bedi, Danny Denzongpa and Mahesh Bhatt. She was diagnosed with diabetes later in her life, and died of multiple organ failure on 20 January 2005.

She was found dead on 22 January 2005 after her residential society secretary alerted the police that she had not collected milk and newspapers from her doorstep for three days. The police suspected that she may have been dead for up to 72 hours before her body was found. The cause of her death was not immediately known. She was found to have gangrene of the left foot as a complication of her diabetic condition. A wheelchair was found near her bed and a series of disarranged paintings, clothes, medicines and old newspapers. She had a bandage on her left foot, that she had put on, to treat her gangrene which had resulted from a long ailment of diabetes. It is possible that she was unable to walk in her last days due to a gangrenous foot and required the use of a wheelchair to move inside the house. A post-mortem was conducted at Cooper Hospital and reports showed that there were no traces of food in her stomach, but some alcohol (possibly from her medication) was found and it is possible that she had not consumed anything for more than three days and as a consequence starved to death. The police ruled out any foul play and it was determined she succumbed due to total organ failure and diabetes. Mahesh Bhatt said For Me, She Died Twice, once when she had the mental breakdown and now. I owe everything that I am today to my brief association with this magnificent woman. She was a rebel who lived life on her own terms, died on her own terms. Parveen Babi converted to Christianity during the last years of her life, as she stated in an interview, and was baptised in a Protestant Anglican Church at Malabar Hill. After her death the State Administrator General of Maharashtra became sole custodian of her properties and assets, and took responsibility for the management of them.

Plywood manufacturer Yogesh Batra was found dead under mysterious circumstances on May 27, 2016. His parents had hired a personal investigator to look into the cause of death.

Investigations revealed that Yogesh's wife Priyanka had joined a local fitness centre where she came close to gym trainer. When he questioned her, she denied his claims.

"They would quarrel and had a strained relationship. Once she had attacked him with the photo frame glass. My son was admitted to a hospital. He had told me about Priyanka's relationship with Rohit and was apprehensive that both will kill him one day. His body had turned blue after his death. I always suspected that there was something wrong," Yogesh's father Subhash Batra said.

Yogesh's father submitted the evidence collected by the investigator to the police on September 14, 2016 and a complained was registered against Priyanka and Rohit in Jagadhari police station.

The police have arrested the two acussed, who have confessed to the crime. They were assisted by two others Sonu Singh, a pharmacist at a private hospital and one Satish KumarTHE CRIME

According to police reports, Priyanka wanted to kill Yogesh with a sedative which is why she hired Sonu and Satish, but the plan failed as the needle broke during the crime. They then suffocated Yogesh to death.

Priyanka had transferred the business in her name before killing Yogesh.

Jagdeep Jain, Sessions Judge, Yamunanagar, has dismissed the bail applications of three accused in the murder case of Yogesh Batra, an industrialist, today.

MR Aneja, complainant’s counsel, said three of the four accused comprising deceased’s wife Priyanka Batra, her paramour Rohit and Satish Kumar had moved bail applications, but the Sessions Judge dismissed their applications. The fourth accused hasn’t filed his bail application yet.

Yogesh, owner of Batra Plywood factory, was found dead on May 27 last year at his residence in Sector 17 of HUDA in Jagadhri, where he used to live with his wife Priyanka.

Priyanka told his father Subhash Batra that Yogesh had died of heart attack and cremated the body without post-mortem examination.

Yogesh’s father suspected it to be a murder and field a complaint with the Yamunanagar police. When the police failed to investigate the case, he approached the Haryana DGP. Following this, the case was transferred to the Karnal police and an SIT was formed under the CIA-II in charge, Karnal.

The police said Priyanka had illicit relationship with her gym trainer Rohit. As Yogesh objected to their affair, Priyanka and Rohit planned to kill him. They contacted Uttar Pradesh-based Satish Kumar and Sonu for getting Yogesh killed and they allegedly strangled him.
