Mortal Kombat (2021) Bloody reboot of the cheesy 90's movie adaptation of the legendary game series. Mortal Kombat features some of our favorite characters battling good against evil in a new universe, lengthy and mildly entertaining, still does not' feature the Toasty guy tho :(

Tonkei shinjû - Pig Chicken Suicide (1981) A techno punk assault on the senses, blending racial discrimination, animal slaughter and an urban flavored surrealism that skirts around the story of two Koreans living in Japan who's love is destroyed by oppression.

Don't you recognise me? (2016) When challenged about a grave crime from his past, a journalist shooting documentaries about the youngsters of a council estate falls into a trap he set for himself. A clumsy thriller that tackles a number of contentious issues.

Three Days on a Cross (2017) in a post-apocalyptic desert a man searches for his daughter, unbeknownst to him he's been closely monitored by two men in a lofi bunker. An unusual cerebral sci fi movie that will make you rethink the basis of humanity and religion.

Resurrection (1999)Running in the limelight of Se7en, this taught thriller follows a pair of officers tracking a derranged killer who's trying to ressurect christ using the body parts of his victims. touch of cheese but otherwise cracking naughty thriller with interesting aspects

A Quiet Place (2018) A family struggle to survive in a world where the slightest sound attracts deadly monsters. A slightly BMovie set up but results in a brilliant tense horror with a worthy new monster that's equally devastating and creepy, needs an origin story.

Paranormal Activity (2007) A couple of hipsters are terrorized by a malevolent spirit in their modern home. The movie that resurrected the paranormal found footage genre after being heavily endorsed by Steven Spielberg and is the best of the series.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022) 50 years after the original massacre a group of influencers are attempting to breath life into the ghost town of Harlow, totally unaware that they have awakened the legendary Leatherface they are soon sliced and diced in a neon lit ghost town slasher that will divide horror fans.

The Business (2005) A strange blend of Greek Tragedy and 'ooligan violence, Frankie (Danny Dyer) travels to Spain to do a job and gets roped into a lifestyle of drugs women, sex and sandy beaches. Everything you'd expect and very little more.

Maze Runner - The Death Cure (2018) Final chapter in much loved teen action series. With the disease and apocalypse pending a group of young hopefuls attempt to save the word in disconnected watered down final chapter no befitting the brilliant beginning.

World War Z (2013) Epic Zombie movie trying to grasp the global effect of a world wide zombie infection and potential apocalypse, based on the best seller from Max Brooks. Unfortunate style over substance rehash, with sensational fast paced action and crazy unreal results.

Notre Jour Viendra / Our Day Will Come (2010) An outcast boy an his unhinged psychiatrist go on a violent bender against the world that shuns them because of their ginger hair, on their way to Ireland for safety they wreak havoc throughout France. Dark suspenseful drama

Lowlife (2017) The subversive lives of a drug addict, an ex con and a luchador collide when an underground organ harvesting operation goes very very wrong. An engrossing highly charged romp with hints of pulp and girt and gore. Darkly funny epic that's not to be missed.

Suntan (2016) Slow burning drama sited on a hedonistic Greek island, a new doctor becomes obsessed with a young tourist but their partying turns to a dangerous lust. Beautifully crafted characters in an powerfully engrossing tale that's both inviting and painful.

6-5=2 (2014) Basically the Indian version of the Blair Witch Project. A group of friends go hiking in the woods and after disturbing some folk dolls end up being stalked by a strange entity. Vaguely scary,  lackluster paranormal woods story just like so many others.

Luke Goss’s directorial debut mimics the tropes from the Taken Series but without the lavish action scenes. The story follows a man who has to go to extremes to rescue his wife and daughter from a deranged stalker.

Donkey Punch (2008) Things go tragically bad for a group of brits partying on a luxury boat. The drug filled twentysomethings night turns from orgy to murder. Gory thriller with some style but the heavily lingo and easy to loath characters let the film down.
