I met Claire Spencer through Instagram, can you believe it? Within an hour of meeting her in person for the first time, I knew she was someone I would know forever. We met over our love of cold water immersion, growth through discomfort, and life transformation. This week we talk about Claire's cold water immersion practice, and the ways she is learning to balance that along with life and the changing seasons. It isn't cold here in Arizona yet, but we are working on it!

But I hate the cold!
I hear it all the time. "That might be ok for you but I hate the cold", or, "I have an illness that keeps me from regulating my body temperature so I can't get into the cold". And I use to say these things, too. Until I started practicing cold water immersion. Because we do not start out being able to grind one hundred push-ups, or already knowing how to drive before we get behind the wheel. It takes practice. And I have learned not only to embrace the cold, but to keep practicing because now I absolutely love it. And I believe it is much easier to swallow some initial disdain for the cold than it is the vast majority of pills out there.
What do I eat?!
It was a long road to figure how and what to eat once I got sick. I had developed weird allergies and gastro issues that affected my entire life, but mostly what I was putting into my body. On the path towards health I developed a food regimen that works for me, and in this episode I will share what that looks like.

I am introducing you to the reasons I started taking ice baths. This has had a profound impact on me physically, mentally, and emotionally. I have a person mission to introduce as many people as possible to the health benefits of the cold.
