Brown Girls in the Burb

I am a brown girl who grew up in a predominantly white suburb, and… it’s different! So I’ve created this platform to discuss some things I had to learn the hard way and some things that I was lucky enough to have a support system and relatives to teach me. If you know me personally, you know I have a lot to say, but I think there is an absence of young people sharing their experiences. I wanted to create a space for myself to share what’s going in my life and how I am affected by the world. This podcast isn’t just for one group of people, we are not one gender, or one age group, or one ethnicity.
