Imposter Syndrome or Fear of Success?
Imposter Syndrome or Fear of Success?
Are you scared of being an “imposter” or the pressure that comes with being successful?
We all look at who and what we aspire to be and try to figure out the steps to get to that level. This is not about “faking it until you make it,” but daring to put your foot on the gas and go. You will never know it all, be capable of doing it all, or have no competition. (If you think you have no competition, we need to talk.)
Nevertheless, the worst thing you can do is fall prey to the comparison trap, focus on what you aspire to be, and allow doubt, limiting beliefs, and fear to paralyze you into stagnation. Even worse, instead of promoting and advertising your worth, you become invisible because you feel like a novice, making you an “imposter.”
Tune into this podcast episode of CEO Talk for a few tricks and mindset hacks to help you overcome this and work in your passion and genius zone.
Think Outside the Box & Increase Your Revenue
Often when it comes to business and being a creative, some of us refuse to think outside the box. We get caught in “this is the way it’s supposed to be done; this is the way that everyone else is doing it, and this is what we know.”
We do all of this planning and get completely confused about the actual art of what we are supposed to be producing. Tune into this episode to learn how to get out of this mindset & back to the art of what you’re supposed to be producing.
This is a great episode for authors, coaches, and creatives, but the examples used can also be applied to any business. Learn the secret that #Facebook, #Twitter, #Instagram, and any social media knows and how you need to apply the same in your business/brand.
Tune in Thursday, September 16th, at 8:00 pm EST.

CEO Talk: Is Your "Happiness" Sabotaging Your Success?
- "You should be happy that you have a business."
- "In this pandemic, you should be happy just to be alive."
- "You should just be happy with what you have."
Have you ever heard these words from friends, family, or colleagues? These statements, if accepted, are the beginning of your success demise.
- Being "happy" about something does not replace the need for progression or improvement.
- Being "happy" about your improvement does not mean you should stop.
- Don't allow your "happy" to cause you to become slothful, complacent, or not to progress.
Tune into this episode of CEO Talk to learn how to overcome these limiting beliefs in your professional and personal life. Many businesses fold due to complacency and short-sightedness. Do not let this be you.

Is Your Fake Version of Success Killing Your Potential?
Is Your Fake Version of Success Killing Your Potential?
Representation Matters. How you show up in your business really matters. As a man (or woman) thinks, so is he (she).
- What drives you in your business? How do you want the world to see you? What do you want to be known for?
- Are you teachable?
- Do you believe your own hype?
- Are you driven by envy, ego, greed, bitterness, or the like?
- Do you have the appearance of being highly successful but behind closed doors the opposite is true?
This episode will challenge you to not only analyze the image you present in business but the key things that are derailing your success. A “polished version of success” will not hide certain sabotaging spirits that reek like manure. Don’t believe “the hype” and don’t drink the “poisonous kool-aid.”
Tune in on Thursday, January 21st at 8:00 pm EST for the discussion.
Lawsuit! Ignorance is NO Excuse of the Law! Part 2 of 2
In my last podcast episode, I discussed how a new publishing client almost got sued. But, after recording that podcast, there was another BIG part of why she almost was sued that I left out. You have to hear this because it's more common than not. Talk about the ULTIMATE BETRAYAL!
Learn the simple mistakes her former publisher made and what we did as the new publisher that kept her from being sued and her intellectual property from being stolen.
P.S.: I will cover information like this in my 4 Week Virtual Business Bootcamp/Course "Fix My Business Life" which you can register for now at TheJoyGuru.net/shop (starts on Monday, January 4, 2021).

Now What? Where do we go from here?
What is your “What’s Next?”
So many times we are taught that we need to have:
- The perfect website
- Branding colors
- Videos
- Social Media posts
- Banner
- Business cards
- …And the list goes on.
But the truth is that no one is so famous that EVERYONE knows who they are and what they do? You must regularly reintroduce yourself and how you set yourself apart. The moment you get “too comfortable” is the moment you put your business at risk.
In this episode, learn some examples of influencers and how they set themselves apart. Learn some tricks that you can implement right now so you & your business can show up, stand out, and be unforgettable for all the right reasons. Even the recent U.S Presidential election serves as an example.
Don't Struggle, Recommit
Don't Struggle, Recommit
When you stop working, everything else stops too.
Were you off to a fast/great start and somehow lost your momentum? Have you slipped back into old habits that have sabotaged your success?
It's time to stop struggling and recommit. Your old way of thinking and habits will lead you on the path of failure.

Make your Election Sure: Fire Up your Success by Firing Up your Confidence Level
Make your Election Sure: Fire Up your Success by Firing Up your Confidence Level
No, this episode has nothing to do with the Presidential election. Far too often I find entrepreneurs that are operating below the level of success they should have. One of the main culprits? Confidence.
On this episode of CEO Talks, I will address how many entrepreneurs are hindering their success and a few tips and strategies to reverse that. If your head and heart aren't in the game, it will show in how you present yourself in the market. Don't make the mistake of allowing "stinkin' thinking" to cause you to miss the mark.
Potential unrealized is nothing more than mediocrity and you were born to thrive and achieve greatness. Let's talk.
Are you Sabotaging Your Wealth and Success by Dishonoring your Time?
Are you Sabotaging Your Wealth and Success by Dishonoring your Time?
Success is scheduled. Are you blocking your success and wealth by mismanaging your time?
If you do not honor your time, you are not honoring your wealth and the wealth you desire. Success does not happen by happenstance; it is the end result of a combination of intentional, strategic movements, and planning. Those who allow the distractions of life to drive them, often place success on the back burner while distressed over why they cannot seem to bring their vision to fruition.
Tune into this episode as our host identifies some of the common ways we are distracted in modern society and offers tips and examples to reverse these habits and get back on track.
Are YOU the Weakest Link in Your Business?
Are YOU the Weakest Link in Your Business?
No blame game here. Your business is only as strong as its weakest link. Could it be you? So many people blamed COVID for the downfall of their business and brand, but for many, that is the furthest thing from the truth.
*If your business was bleeding dry financially before COVID…
*If you ignored industry trends and continued “business as usual” before COVID…
*If your business provided a lackluster experience for your clientele before COVID…
*If organization, follow-up, consistency, and strategy was non-existent in your business before COVID…
…Then COVID is not the reason for your business failure or lackluster results, but you might be. Are you the weakest link?
Success is scheduled. How will you position your business, brand, and self for the type of success that is COVID & recession-proof? Find out in this episode how to put feet to your vision and garner the mindset of highly successful people.

In the US, we have watched different areas of the world deal with Coronavirus. We are at the point where realistically we cannot deny the impact this will have on the economy in addition to the health and welfare of our citizens. So with schools being closed for several weeks, many restaurants no longer able to serve the public, places of worship switching to live stream services only, how are you & your business holding up?

Is SEX (or lack thereof) Ruining Your Success? (For Entrepreneurs Only)
Is Sex Killing Your Success?
Napoleon Hill states, “Sex desire is the most powerful of human desires. So strong and impelling is the desire for sexual contact that men freely run the risk of life and reputation to indulge it.”
Let's face it: if you're not careful, business can inflict havoc and chaos on your love life. The entrepreneurial life can be described as a roller coaster and it can take a toll on loving relationships. For those who are single, many put all of their creative energies into their work in ways they don’t in their intimacy. Work becomes the place for passion and home becomes the place of stability and safety. HELP!
