All Creatives Now

We're back! And this time we're talking to the exceptionally talented Gemma Amor. Gemma is a Bram Stoker nominated author whose new book, Full Immersion, releases in a week on Angry Robot Books. She's also an artist, a podcaster, voice actor, and an all round bloody good human.  In our chat we cover off a range of topics around the relationship between creativity and mental health, the myriad roads to being published, some myths around social media, and lots more beside, as well as getting the lowdown on Full Immersion.  

We're joined by one of the funniest people on the planet for a wide ranging chat that takes in everything from forgetting what adverts you've done, why you should never try and make anyone laugh, and much more besides. Plus there's a bit of news about the pod at the end.

All Creatives Now was devised with the intention of examining this brave new world, looking at the growth in the creator economy, and facilitating conversations amongst creatives about what it is to be a creator in the modern world.

How do you keep integrity when dealing with global multinational distribution? How do you get attention in increasingly pay-to-play systems and algorithms? Is it okay to not want to make a living doing what I love? And is it okay if I do? And of course, the age-old question: Do I really need to humiliate myself by doing a terrible dance to get a TikTok following?
