Brian Bristol is a 25-year old software engineer, entrepreneur, and tech founder that broke into the startup scene by building his own solution to a problem faced by so many. When a loved one lost their job at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Brian began searching for a tool enabling him to help them through the financial struggle, but in a way that gave him enough confidence that he would get paid back. When he couldn't find one, his instincts as a hacker and software engineer kicked in and inspired him to spend his whole summer building the app that would eventually become Pigeon Loans.
Brian tells Amber & Brenda about his struggles growing up and overcoming poverty, gives advice to young people looking to go into tech and talks raising over a million dollars in funds for Pigeon Loans.
