#46 Personal: What Struggles have taught me
This possibly taught me two things:
To ask myself the question "What do I need to get out of this state?" instead of forcing it.
Moods are changing like everything else too, just go with it and see what you can learn

#45 Privilege, Leadership & Paying Forward | Luuk Hartsema
Luuk Hartsema, UI/UX developer at Spindle talks to me about his perspectives on leadership, altruism and being privileged. He tells stories of his travels in South Africa, how that shaped his view on the privilege he has and how he fulfils his leadership position.
In my opinion, a very humble and generous man with a sense of purpose and doing good in the world.

#44 Rowing Across the Atlantic for a Sustainable Planet | Julen Sánchez
ROWING SOLO ACROSS THE ATLANTIC OCEAN Julen Sánchez is on his way to making a difference for our planet. He got me inspired by just listening to his plan of rowing across the Atlantic Ocean, by himself for 8000km and additional 4000km on his bicycle to get from Paris to Pittsburgh. We talk about how a “normal” psychology student gets the idea of doing something only a few people have done before, his journey behind it and how small seemingly coincidental situations can be a starting point of taking on a life-changing adventure.
In short: “He is going to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean to raise money for Sustainability Charities.”

#43 Goals, Meditation & More | Chris Bello
"You are one of the most determined and consistent persons!" That the quote that describes Chris probably the best. This recipe helped him to grow his podcast to 40.000 downloads/month (Entrepreneur Motivation Podcast) and is the thing that comes naturally to him. He is extremely good at making a consistent effort and also tracking it properly to keep this up. After that recording, I also started again to track my efforts and worked on my productivity. So if you need some inspiration for that, he is your guy.
Another of his superpowers is his flow of speaking. It seems almost like a trivial thing but the ability to speak without any ehms makes just such a difference in listening to him. I know how tough that can be especially when you want to make it "perfect" for podcasting or really any speaking gig.
This episode was a podcast swap so I also talk about my Vipassana Meditation experience in Nepal and struggles with my own goalsetting.

#38 Act Based on Purpose Not on Fear | Schuyler Diehm
In this episode we talked a lot about the mindset, to act based on purpose not on fear and what immense power your thoughts have on your behaviour and your general mood.
My personal take-away from this episode was certainly “act based on purpose not on fear” since it is too often the case that I don’t do things because it’s scary and I forget about my purpose. So, this was a great insight and a reminder of this.

#32 What's Season 2 All About? - TheAmbitiousSloth Podcast
EVERYTHING IS CONSTANTLY CHANGING, so am I. The change in season is mainly due to my personal development but this necessarily also changes the style of the podcast. The topics go deeper, the focus is more towards the person and really getting to know their perspective on things like love, death, values, fulfilment and purpose. We got a lot more into the conversation that means I also share more of my perspectives on those topics.
"Let's talk about deep sh*t!" is one of the ways you could describe the new season with.
I hope you enjoy this developed form of the podcast and get some value out of it. My goal with this podcast is to make you rethink your previous life about what makes you happy, fulfilled and give you a sense purpose. I think those topics are barely discussed even though they are essential for a happy life.
If you don't know what you are aiming for, you are certainly going to miss.

#16 Meaning of Life - Dr. Jack Chun
My philosophy professor in Hong Kong, Dr. Jack Chun, gave me such a new perspective on my life.
Have you ever thought about the purpose of life? The reason why you should continue living your life as you do? Is there a meaning in life? We did! He explains on a philosophical basis those questions and how you can find meaning in a seemingly meaningless world.
To do that we dive deep into the philosophical explanations of Albert Camus, Thomas Nagel and other philosophers around this topic.
So if you want to think about something else than usual daily routine, give it a listen.
Please, review the episode if you got a something out of it and subscribe for more episodes likes this.

#15 The Story Behind The Ambitious Sloth - Why You Should Listen To My Podcast
The Story Behind The Ambitious Sloth
Why should you listen to my podcast if you don’t even know me? Even if you do it’s not quite clear.
So the reason why I started was not very exciting, I just liked to talk to people I find interesting. However, that quickly grew and developed into the theme of people who overcame some incredible adversity or limiting believes. Something I struggled with back in the old school days as well. I was genuinely convinced of not being smart enough to get through this.
Luckily, very slowly a change started right after I graduated. Now, about 4 years later I seem to be in a good direction of dealing with it. But if that works with this belief, I’m sure it works with much more! That’s why I seek the experience from others who have done much more than I did to get inspired by what is possible.
Since that worked for me incredibly good I’d like to share those experiences and stories with others they get a new perspective and might start a change as well.
And, let’s be honest we all have some thoughts telling us we can’t do something or telling us we are not good at something.

#14 The Only Person That Can Make You Quit Is You! -Dennis McCormick
The former U.S. marine Dennis McCormick has an incredible story to share. Starting from his horrible accident on July 8th 2015 in which he almost died, however, recovered even stronger than before. Despite doctors telling him, he will not be able to walk again he just tried over and over again and did not let others tell him what he can or cannot do until he tried himself! Now, he is still having intense pain every day but with his unbelievable mindset he manages to have a job as a marketing director and enjoys his life like he hasn’t before. Also due to the help of Julia and Austin Piedmont.
I feel honored that I had the chance to talk to him and hope you can get something positive out of this as well. If you think a friend could benefit from this, don’t hesitate to spread the message and if you have any question, Dennis and I are happy to answer it.

- In a sentence, what is your description of Buddhism?
- What is the concept of mind and awareness?
- What role does impermanence play in Buddhism?
- How do you implement it in your daily life?
