Any.Talk: Managing During A Crisis
When it comes to managing through a crisis, such as the COVID-19 pandemic it helps to be a company that is able to adapt quickly to change and has innovation at its core. Some companies found the move to working with a remote team very challenging but Anywise was able to pivot fairly easily since we already had the right tools in place to work remotely without it disrupting the workflow too much. Of course that isn't to say working from home has come easily to everyone and Anywise has had to deal with unforeseen challenges and project delays just like other organisations. However, the management team decided early on that transparency with staff and keeping in touch with each other came before worrying about deadlines that had to be met. This year has been about being flexible and letting people get work done when they can, especially for those who have had to homeschool their kids while juggling a full time job.
