114. Cargo Ship Collision In Baltimore
It’s all over the news today and you’ve probably heard about the cargo ship that collided with a bridge in Baltimore leading to its collapse and the loss of 6 lives. But what really happened? What went wrong? What were the sequence of events leading to the collision? While I don’t have all the answers, I have a theory about what happened based on the video doing the rounds on the internet. I may be wrong but I did spend a significant amount of time on cargo ships so I do know a thing or two...this is at best an educated guess.

109. Mastering Solitude - Part 3
In this episode we focus more on ourselves. What are we and if we were to explain ourselves to someone, how would we do it? I talk about my understanding of why we feel the need to be around other people and how the absence of that leads to the feeling of loneliness. I’m no expert, but this is knowledge I have accumulated from books, podcasts and youtube videos of experts in the field.

While I don’t claim to be an expert in this topic, this is something that has worked for me and I use it every day to navigate life. 101. Our relationship with "STUFF"
It is said that the average human household has about 250,000 items. We all find ourselves surrounded by stuff everywhere and somehow still look for more stuff to purchase. I attempt to answer these questions with anecdotes from my life and the lessons i am learning these days now that I have to sell or give away most of my stuff. What is our relationship with "stuff"? Why do we always want more? And at what cost to the planet? Join me in this quest to answer these questions.

99. Applying to Universities in the USA
One of my recent endeavours was to apply to a university abroad in pursuit of my Master's degree in a course I was really interested in. It wasn't as straight forward as i would've liked and there are a ton of misleading blogs and youtube videos about the subject matter. While this episode may not cover everything, it surely covers my journey and the process it took to do so.

It's been one of the most anticipated movies of 2022 and it's finally here. This here is my review of Avatar 2 : The Way of Water. A lot of scenery and very little in terms of a storyline as far as I am concerned, but somehow it has made $850 million in 2 weeks.

84. Getting LASIK in 2022.
Yes, that's correct, I am now sans spectacles though everyone says I looked better with them, much to my chagrin. In this episode, i talk about what its like to undergo laser eye surgery or LASIK. I feel like there's enough literature about what it is but I had no information going in about what i might experience. So this is my point of view of the whole ordeal.
A big big thanks to the doctors and staff at Shroff Eye Center in New Delhi. A very competent and pleasant bunch of people who made this experience less daunting for someone who was getting operated on for the first time ever.
For listeners in the future, use this as a time capsule. This was the technology available in the year 2022. Maybe nanobots correct vision in the future but this is what we worked with.

69. Movie Review : Top Gun : Maverick (2022)
Yup, he's back! Its been the most anticipated movie of the year so far and boy did it deliver! Crazy action packed scenes and an endless ride into nostalgia. Epic. Just epic. Here is my review of the movie where i talk about what went well (everything!!), what went wrong (nothing!) and certain missed opportunities (yeah, I am bummed about that). Mind you, this episode is full of spoilers so listen at your own discretion.

68. Movie Review : Morbius (2022)
The old world is back and i am back at the theatres! I wanted to see just how bad this movie was and it surprisingly wasn't. I feel that people have been rather harsh in criticising this movie and everyone told me not to watch it based entirely on reviews. It wasn't bad. Tune in to listen to my review of the latest movie by Marvel.

67. My final assignment for Berklee (Music Theory and Composition 1)
Well its finally done! I have been pursuing a course in music theory and composition from Berklee Online and it has been an amazing learning experience. After 11 weeks, we were required to use everything we learnt to compose a score for the opening two minutes of the movie "Last time i saw Paris". While past assignments have been a lot easier to handle, this one has been the first proper test of knowledge and skill. Navigating through several constraints and figuring out the problems encountered on the way was not easy but now that I'm on the other side, I see the purpose of this assignment and i love the fact that they insist that you figure out the problem by yourself and we are here incase you need any help. So here is what i came up with and i do hope you like it.
Do consider giving us a rating on the podcast platform of your choice. Cheers.
66. My first composition!
Greetings and salutations! It feels so good to be back. A lot has been going on but we are back. After spending weeks learning music online and figuring out what works and what doesn't, I finally had the courage to test out my skills. In this episode, you'll get a chance to hear my first composition. I will admit it isn't the best and it surely isn't professional quality but it is my first attempt nonetheless. Headphones are recommended.
I am hoping i stay motivated enough to make this a recurring segment. Maybe throw in some rap lyrics here and there.
