Ep. 44 | Vibing to Albums in a Cold Darkroom
Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
After moving in to our respective college living spaces, we're back! In this episode we delve into our new favorite album, the changing weather, and jarring changes in our lives as university students. Oddly enough, we end up going back to our roots to answer a few unexpectedly Deep questions. | Our ~album~ of the week is "DARKROOM : roommates only" by Simon Dominic. Ep. 43 | Retaking the MBTI Test Because the One Thing We’re Certain of Is That We Overthink
Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
Hello hello! It's been a minute. We've been very busy being employed women ready to take on the world, but we are back with another podcast episode where we retake the MBTI test! If you would like, feel free to pull up the test on your own, and join us as we ~discover more about ourselves~
As you may have noticed, we decided to upload full episodes only on audio platforms. Since many of y'all requested shorter videos, we decided to put only portions of the full episode on YouTube, and then upload the full episodes on audio platforms; that way, you can choose based on your own preferences.
**DISCLAIMER: before someone in the comments says something about how these tests are inaccurate, are not all-encompassing, etc., etc., I'll go ahead and beat you to it. For us, this is just a fun way to get to know some aspects of our personalities a bit better, and it's also cool to see how others' ideas and beliefs differ. It's a fun time!

Ep. 42 | Driving But I Rationalize My Mental Health Instead
Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
(Trigger warning: light discussions of mental health) After a month, I'm (Chelsea) back with a casual, ambient, and very chaotic podcast episode that I recorded when driving home from work. I also talk about being anxious, mildly embarrassing moments that I may have put out of proportion, and my favorite snack. | The song of the week is "riBBon" by BamBam. Ep. 41 | Being Assertive is Hard, Getting Vaccinated Isn't: A PSA
After a hot minute we're back! We're both fully vaccinated as of now and we decide to talk about our symptoms as well as what we're looking forward to doing in the near future. We also dive into our issues with online school, self-growth, and asking the "hard questions" in life. Ep. 40 | One Year, Two Vaccines, and Several Questions
Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
Happy birthday Arm Bridge! Mid-April marked one year since the start of our podcast and we couldn't be happier. Thank y'all for supporting us and listening to all of our antics and tangents, and we can't wait to bring you more with season three. In this episode, we discuss the hope we found after being vaccinated, our nonchalant attitudes towards death, and a very important unit of measurement. | The song of the week is "Atlantis" by SHINEE. Bonus Ep. 5 | I Can('t?) Drive
Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
Before we approach the end of season two AND the one year anniversary of the podcast, I decided to record a quick bonus episode where I answer a few random questions. I go on caffeine-fueled tangents about why a block schedule is superior to the seven-classes-a-day model, my clothing choices, and why I can't gauge whether or not I'm a decent driver. | The song of the week is "LASER" by lIlBOI and Wonstein. Episode 39 | So the Grammys
Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
We’re back! We had midterms so that’s why it took a while to upload this episode. If you follow our Instagram, you might’ve been able to guess what today’s episode is about: the Grammys! Most of the episode is just me and Chelsea gushing over the performances, but of course there were a few topics we’ve touched on in past episodes that came to light yet again, and we discussed those as well. Recently one of Texas's House Representatives filed a bill, HCR 66, that condemns racism against the AAPI community. In light of the recent attacks against Asian Americans, Chelsea and I urge those of you in Texas to call or email your House Representative and ask them to sign onto this bill as a co-author. For those outside Texas, see if there are similar bills in your state that you can do the same for, and if not, advocate for the creation of one. And for everyone outside the US, please continue spreading awareness about the issue.

Episode 38 | Questions... With Friends
Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
So Chelsea and I recorded an actual episode and while the premise was good, the execution was so astronomically terrible we could not bring ourselves to publish the episode. We decided to still upload the Deep Questions with Friends portion while we edit next week's episode, which we (in contrast to this episode) are pretty excited about.
Ep. 37 | Geoguessr Destroyed My Ninth Grade Geography Skills
Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
(There is a trigger warning at 40:44 because I talk about getting cut by glass on accident and bleeding a little bit. If that might make you feel uncomfortable/uneasy, you can skip to 43:06.)
After getting my electricity back after a few days, I decided to play a spontaneous game of Geoguessr before studying for my impending economics midterm. My ninth grade geography skills take me around the globe from Japan to Canada (twice). Along the way I take a few detours to talk about my mysterious uncle, Love Island, and how "Into the Spider-Verse" is the best teen film ever. | During this time, there are still many homes affected by the power outages that resulted from winter chills across Texas. I have attached a few helpful resources below:

Ep. 36 | Arm Bridge's Valentine is an ISFP
Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
Today is Valentine's Day, so we decided to talk about love, relationships, and a lack thereof. We answer questions such as "What is your ideal type?" and converse about internalizing compliments to the point of confusion. In the Deep Questions segment, we air a few grievances about teen media and the disrespect we see in others. | The song of the week is "Nobody" by Mitski. This week, we decided to film an entire episode without any preparation whatsoever, much like our old podcast episodes. After evaluating the merit of different types of peppers, we discuss our perceptions of ourselves, new definitions of friendship, and album sequencing. In the process, we also create a new modification to our beloved Deep Questions segment. | The song of the week is "Doomsday" by MF Doom. Ep. 33 | Retelling Greek Myths: The Down Bad Sculptor and... Um... Photon?
Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
Not only are we philosophers, we're also expert mythology historians (sort of)! This week we try to answer some trivia about key figures and stories in Greek mythology, all while creating a few of our own myths along the way. Our questions guide us through the weird origins of Adonis, a misinterpreted ship, and a guy who really hated animals. | The questions we used for this week's episode: triviabliss.com/categories/greek-mythology/ | The song of the week is "Snakeskin" by Rina Sawayama. Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
I (Chelsea) get back onto the solo episode grind to talk about the existential implications of Descartes, why I'm starting to hate cable TV, and where I land on the alignment chart! That's right, I take an alignment test, all while trying to stay quiet at 11 p.m. (There are a few residual microphone noises since I was filming on my bed lol). | The song of the week is "Compensating" by Aminé ft. Ep. 31 | I've Watched Enough Zombie Movies to Prepare Me for the Apocalypse
Hello! This week I (Sanika) am back with another solo episode. Over the past six months, I've started watching a lot of pandemic/zombie movies for obvious reasons, and this week I was feeling particularly passionate about them. As such, I decided to review all of the movies and shows I've watched so far including Train to Busan, Alive, Sweet Home, Kingdom, and--though it's only loosely tied to pandemics-- V for Vendetta.

Ep. 28 | The SSSS Tier Comeback Special (Pt. 2)
We recorded this before Good News was released, and before BE was released, and before Taemin's newest comeback(s), AND CL's HWA came out, so go stream all of those because this episode got released very late. Speaking of which, sorry for uploading so inconsistently! Both Chelsea and I suddenly got extremely busy with classes, and since we’re approaching finals week, we might be a little bit inconsistent again. Thank you for understanding, and we apologize. This week, we do a part two for our SSSS tier comeback special and struggle to contain our excitement (again) while analyzing songs by Stray Kids, Jessi, CL, sogumm, Megan Thee Stallion, and more! Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
While we take a break from our comeback special, I (Chelsea) delve into a coffee induced rant about... to be honest, I don't even know. I reminisce about an odd re-gifting experience, review my cat memorabilia, and cry about my responsibilities (because I am a very responsible adult). Ep. 26 | The SSSS Tier Comeback Special
After the recent comebacks in the past two months, we have officially deemed ourselves music critics. Do we have deep insightful commentary..? That's questionable, but we do our best this week episode as we make a good chunk of the episode about pH-1, discuss BTS's most recent Billboard hit, and cry about Taemin's "Criminal". Of course, like any logical person would, we use a tier list (with a twist!). | Check out the songs we discussed in our YouTube playlist: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrWD2YZFR_n6Hv1PRFcQYD_3lQM1A1H6k and on Spotify: open.spotify.com/playlist/6I5pFSNN7qHRqkYXCGnCCK?si=_WXKEt2AS4-F9ZfT9cKnuw | A blank tier list template, just in case you didn't agree with us (lol): tierlists.com/create/the-comeback-episode | Visit our website for more Spotify playlists and streaming platforms: armbridgepodcast.carrd.co/.

Ep. 25 | "Do Cringey Stuff!" and Other Learning Experiences
Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
This week, I invite my friend Gabby back for an episode about high school, swimming, and, well, high school swimming. In the process we delve into some old memories, what we've learned from the past, and our two questionable yet endearing mutual friends. We also briefly touch on philosophy, a favorite topic on the podcast. My audio and Gabby's audio might seem to cut off/not sync, but that's a recording mishap on my end. The video is a recorded Skype call and I recorded my audio separately, so I just wanted to clear that up.

This week, we gave advice to our listeners based on their zodiac sign: we cover relationships, focusing on the future, mental health, and moving on in the face of uncertainty. In between these pockets of tangential (and hopefully helpful) guidance, we roast "The Republic" again, discuss the dangers of uniformity, and promote pH-1's podcast venture. | Our song of the week is "Criminal" by Taemin. Ep. 22 | Really Deep Questions with Friends Pt 2
Hey yall! This week, Chelsea and I answer the second half of the questions from the New York Times' 36 Questions to Fall in Love. Do we overshare again? Absolutely. Are we okay with that? Maybe. Sit back and enjoy this absolutely riveting ride through our life experiences, opinions, and goals and aspirations. Hopefully, you get to learn a little bit more about us :) (Also, enjoy the ambient rain noises in the background haha)

Ep. 21 | Post-Socratic Afterthoughts
Due to some technical difficulties on both of our ends, part two to episode 20 will be out next week. In the meantime, I (Chelsea) recorded a solo episode after reading my first book for my philosophy class because I just had too much on my mind. Aside from poorly summarizing parts of "The Trial and Death of Socrates" by Plato, I mention my fear of a certain beauty YouTuber, how language affects our thinking, and why I hate Snapchat. | I couldn't pick a song of the week so I literally just mentioned the entirety of H1GHR Music's "Red Tape" album. As I mentioned before, we'll only put out our songs of the week on our IG story and through Anchor. Ep. 20 | Really Deep Questions with Friends Pt. 1
We're back! And oh my god it's the end of season one. This week, Chelsea and I decide to try out The New York Times' "36 Questions That Lead to Love." Unsurprisingly, we already know each other pretty well, but hopefully, y'all learn a thing or two about us! This episode, we cover questions 1-17, where we discuss who we want to meet, our ~life stories~, and our most treasured memories. Happy listening!

Ep. 19 | Pants and High School Advice
I'll be honest, I have no clue what this video is either. This week, I go on a (clearly) sleep-deprived rant where I juggle talking about pants and giving advice for high schoolers at the same time. Is this advice good? Probably not, but that's okay because everyone has different perspectives. I talk about the importance of organization, working smart instead of hard, and being yourself, and I review many different types of pants while at it.

Ep. 18 | Sad Bops and Basic Vocab Part 2
We finish up your recommendations this week, and if you thought that last week's songs were sad, these are even *sadder*. While identifying more words that start with B (and even more that start with S), we discuss the lyrical nostalgia of Taylor Swift, Post Malone's melancholy side, and how intention makes a song more meaningful. At the end, we attempt to answer perhaps the Deepest

Ep. 17 | Sad Bops and Basic Vocab
(Sorry that this is a bit late, we had technical difficulties on both our ends and college classes have formally started!) For this week's episode, we asked you, our viewers, to send us some songs to rate. Thank you for sending a total of 22! Because of that, we're making episodes 17 and 18 a two-part special to place all of the songs on—you guessed it—a tier list. In this episode, we delve into some nostalgic songs, the cultural impact of "Baby Shark", and a lot of words that start with the letter B. During the Deep Questions segment, we discuss the importance of mortality and art appreciation. | We recommend that you listen to the songs mentioned today before or after watching! Ep. 16 | Me vs. Animated Me vs. Show Me the Money
This week, I do a total 180 from the calmness of Sanika's episode and delve deep into the topics ravaging my brain for the past week using a tier list. I rant and rave about an anime character's sudden transformation, how podcast favorite Trap House Guy (rapper EK) was robbed on the Korean hip-hop program "Show Me the Money", banana blossoms, and the philosophy of science. As usual, I conclude with some very Deep Questions. | Visit our new website (moved from Linktree): armbridgepodcast.carrd.co/ |

Bonus Ep. 2 | Addressing Your Aesthetics
Our initial goal with our episode on personal style was to take our listeners' responses and review/talk about them, but we weren't able to gather enough. Ep. 15 | A Detour from Existential Crisis Boulevard
Heyyy! We're back with our solo segments this week. As awkward as it was the first time I filmed a solo episode, I weirdly still had fun with it will be a regular-ish segment on Arm Bridge. But! Aside from that, I've been kinda sorta going through it so I thought I'd make this episode even more chill than my last solo episode.
This week we are tackling relaxation. Join me as I ask myself and you, the listener a series of questions about relaxing and destressing as we (hopefully) stress a bit less about our lives.
Again, thank you to the two websites I used to provide me with questions:

Bonus Ep. 1 | Mid(dle School)-Life Crisis
In this bonus clip, we have the silly goofy idea to read aloud some entries from our middle school diaries. Throughout the process, we uncover a few secrets(?), reflect on Big Simping™ and revisit the weird feeling of having a crush. Could we have written the next great American novel? Honestly, who knows. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ | Check out episode 14 for more context (this clip was cut out of this episode during editing). | Outro music: "Mint leaves" by Jeff Kaale (distributed for free use through InShot video editor) | Stream Arm Bridge through other platforms: linktr.ee/armbridgepodcast | Follow us on Instagram @armbridgepodcast

Ep. 14 | If Only the French Tuck Saved Us from Our Middle School Outfits
In this episode, we delve deep into our aesthetics and personal styles. We journey into tangents about our love for Tan France, the color black, why Mediterranean cottagecore should be a thing, and a story about one very fancy birthday party. Do we also roast our middle school drip in the process? You bet we do. | Stream Arm Bridge through other platforms: linktr.ee/armbridgepodcast | Follow us on Instagram @armbridgepodcast

Ep. 13 | We Really Want to Forget High School
***You may notice that our title is different from what we say it is in the video. The original title mentions dissociation, which we, at the time, didn’t know was a legitimate medical term. We changed it so as to not cause any confusion. Sorry about that! We won’t use the term as loosely from now on*** Hey y'all! This week we decided that we've talked about disliking high school enough times that we should devote an entire episode to the topic! Instead, though, we reminisce over some of our most fond memories from middle and high school, and how much we've grown since.

Ep. 12 | Head Empty, No Thoughts
Two solo episodes in two days? Did we plan this? 👀 (Perhaps....) This week, I (Chelsea) recorded my first solo episode and went a little ham talking to myself. Using a random question generator (and clicking a few times to get a question I could actually talk about), I confess to some bad habits, personal flaws, and a food combination that I regret not cutting out while editing. Along the way, I complain about my off-screen problems and the existential dread of being an adult going to college. | Stream Arm Bridge on other platforms: linktr.ee/armbridgepodcast | Follow us on Instagram @armbridgepodcast

Ep. 11 | Worrying About the Future While Folding My Clothes
Hey y'all, sorry this so late! I was supposed to have a guest last week but we lost the footage :(
This month Chelsea and I wanted to give solo episodes a shot, so I decided to keep this episode chill. Join me as I fold my clothes and just discuss some of the things I'm looking forward to in college. Hopefully, you enjoyed this format for our podcast episodes since it's something new we're trying.

Ep. 10 | From the Ashes of the Saharan Dust Cloud, We Summon Megan Thee Stallion
This week, we conclude our tenth episode special by reviewing four more songs, all the while maintaining our classic tendency to go on eloquent tangents. Our discussion peppers in our grievances regarding Twitter's "uSeR-FriEnDly" appearance, a brief encounter with the Saharan dust cloud, and why artificial intelligence is partially human. Among these things, we try to determine the cultural gaps between international audiences, the currency of a song named after one of Gen Z's heroes, and of course, why Megan Thee Stallion makes us feel empowered. Welcome back! For this week's episode, we introduced y'all to some of our favorite artists and analyzed songs by them. We covered Merlot by Nafla, Better Days by OneRepublic, Afterlife by BENEE, and PACKITUP! by pH-1. We also talked about chart manipulation, the globalization of music, and cultural appropriation. Next week, we'll be doing a part two to this episode with songs by Megan Thee Stallion (we finally didn't forget her), BTS, Stromae, and more!

Ep. 8 | Is Time Real? Or Am I Just Craving Boba? (ft. Cerina and Jada)
This week, I (Chelsea) invited two of my oldest friends, Cerina and Jada, for a quick update into our lives in quarantine. We cover serious topics such as being a newcomer to BLM activism, whether or not we felt fulfilled in high school, and the chaos of whether or not we (or other beings???) are manipulating the time-space continuum. In one of our more serious, heartfelt episodes, we delve into the normalities surrounding staying at home, and the wishes we had for the future. | Since we briefly talked about BLM this week, please check out these resources:

Ep. 7 | Un-Manifesting the Coronavirus and Following Your Dreams
We're back! For this week's episode, we have one of Sanika's close childhood friends, Sandhya, as our special guest! This week we discussed the law of attraction and it's power in our everyday lives. We also touch on whether the law of attraction could be applied to whole societies for larger issues and the effect what we call "negative manifestation." The movie Sanika mentioned at the end is called The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, and it relays the story of William Kamkwamba, who built a wind turbine to save his Malawian village from famine. It's a really inspiring movie, and we would definitely suggest watching it. Thanks again for tuning into this week's episode! Be sure to follow us on our social media and listen to us on our other platforms again at: linktr.ee/armbridgepodcast. See y'all again next week and remember to register to vote for the primaries!

Ep. 6 | Who Are We Really? An INFJ and ENFP Discuss What It Means to Be Yourself
This week, we covered a topic suggested by one of our listeners: how we perceive ourselves in relation to others. In quarantine, we've had a lot of time to reflect on our individual thoughts and the experiences we've had in the past that shaped who we are today. We tackle cringe moments, laugh-worthy worries, and the reasons why we change who we are to protect ourselves. Ep. 4 | The Ultimate Pogger: The Great Depression President, AP Bio, and A Car with All the Vowels
This week, I (Chelsea) caught up with my friends Matthew, Gabby, and Eddie for the most disorganized reunion of the quarantine. We met in middle school and grew closer over the most frivolous and staged "feud" of our youth. After not having seen one another in the same place for almost two years, we look back on the memories we missed out on: quitting swimming, taking calculus, flexing obscure history knowledge, and forgetting how old everyone is. While we look back on our senior year, we hope that you'll join us for the ride. We featured our very first special guest, one of my (Sanika’s) close friends. Join us as we drift deeper into an existential crisis by contemplating mortality, deciding what our ideal life looks like, discussing what makes a person happy, and more.

Ep. 2 | Becoming an Enemy of the Music Industry and Somehow Forgetting About Megan Thee Stallion
This week, we asked people a simple question: What are some things about music/the music industry that should be addressed? Our opinions on the matter were inspired by the unapologetic, bold, and female-empowering efforts of Megan Thee Stallion, but alas, we forgot to talk about her 😭. However, in her honor, we address topics regarding the categorization of musicians by genre, double standards, the impact of streaming, and more.
