2022/23 Premier League season preview
We are back for the new season with a preview episode, because we are clearly very original. We run through each of the 20 positions and predict who we believe will finish where in the 2022/23 Premier League season. Listen for our grim assessment of Bournemouth's chances, as well as our takes on what should be a juicy season at the top end of the table. Will we get it as wrong as last year? Only time will tell...
We also make some player award predictions, before Jake enlightens us on his first time watching EFL football on an iFollow stream...

Channeling his inner UNICEF
Matt is back, and as a result of Mr Three Lions’ return we cover England’s farcical Nations League campaign in more depth. We also have a detailed look at Chelsea, covering their past season, new owner Todd Boehly and what we could expect from him, as well as some potential transfer activity for the Blues. Finally we touch on Sadio Mane’s impending move to Bayern, a feature which admittedly goes a bit haywire.

I’m no f***ing wheeler dealer
A shorter, and maybe sweeter, episode this week as Jake and Will navigate a Matty-less podcast agenda. We quickly touch on the recent Nations League games where lots of the big teams have struggled to show their best form. Then we move into our main discussion regarding the summer transfer market, covering some confirmed and rumoured moves, offering our thoughts on the various dealings. Finally, we wrap up with a quick discussion on PSG and Mauricio Pochettino as their relationship officially ends.

European Mike Dean
Our first episode after the club football season rather predictably starts with the international results over the weekend. A happy Welshman discusses Wales’ triumph in qualifying for the 2022 World Cup, whilst concern grows in the England camp after a surprise loss to Hungary. We touch back on the most recent Premier League season with our Worst (or Most Disappointing) XI from the season just gone, before ending on Round 2 of Jake vs Will in their quiz series.

Murder on the dancefloor
So, that’s it. The 2021/22 club season has ended with the Champions League and EFL Playoff finals. We touch on both games before forming our own Champions League all time XIs, and also debate the most worthy manager to captain such an elite side. We then move onto a listener suggestion: one player to improve each 2022/23 Premier League team ahead of the summer transfer window. Finally, we end with Round 1 of our ‘losers‘ quiz series between Jake and Will!

That’s funny, because he’s Norwegian
Football, bloody hell. We review a tense final weekend in the Premier League, looking at the key battles at both ends of the table. We also then carry out our yearly awards. Find out who we tip for all the major awards, and some special podcast awards that will obviously enter the mainstream soon…
Finally, we end with a potentially decisive battle in our current quiz series. Can Jake take it to a final showdown next week, or will Matty retain his crown as our quiz champ? Listen to find out!

Lovely monotone voices
This week we start with a look back on the FA Cup final between Chelsea and Liverpool before whizzing over the first legs of the Championship and League Two playoffs.
We also make our picks for this listener question: what two past and present players or managers would you like to have a drink with?
We then discuss the recently announced Premier League awards shortlists, before ending on our weekly quiz. Can Matty bounce back from last week’s defeat, or will Jake keep his momentum against the defending champ?

We then tackle another listener topic request in naming our best and worst all time Premier League XI's, with some interesting shouts and debates throughout.
Finally we finish with the main event: our quiz. Can Jake level things up against defending champion Matty this week?

Put it on ice
This week we begin with a quick look over three games from the Easter weekend (namely Brighton vs Spurs, Chelsea vs Crystal Palace, and Sevilla vs Real Madrid). Whilst we don’t cover the FA Semi Final between Liverpool and Manchester City, we do have a go at creating a combined XI from the two sides. We also touch on the recent managerial news at two different ends of the Premier League table, with Sean Dyche’s surprise sacking at Burnley and Erik Ten Hag’s expected appointment at Manchester United.
Finally, we close out with the second instalment of our new weekly quiz, with the difficult amped up this week for both Matty and Will (who keeps mentioning ice for some reason).

- Manchester City-Liverpool combined XI (19 mins, 10 secs)
- Sean Dyche's sacking at Burnley (38 mins, 20 secs)

Puppet master with no hands
After another break that was probably longer than Timo Werner's goal drought, we are back!
We take a quick look at the weekend's games, specifically Everton's crucial win over Manchester United and the entertaining draw at the top in the title race. We also tout potential signings for three teams this summer looking towards next season's Premier League campaign, before looking back at the current season predictions made in our last episode and reviewing some of our more 'controversial' takes.
Finally, we close out with an entertaining quiz between our two resident Bantams. How will Matty's ball knowledge fare against Will's quizzing ego and nostalgia-based memory?
Also, apologies for any mic issues throughout the podcast, we will try get onto top of this going forward!
Running Order:
- Premier League roundup (1 min, 1 sec)
- Potential 2022/23 transfer targets for Brighton, Fulham & Villa (23 mins, 20 secs)
- Reviewing our Premier League predictions (38 mins, 5 secs)
- The first of our new Matty vs Will quiz series! (58 mins, 12 secs)

The boys are back in town
After a postseason break we are back!
On our return we briefly touch on England at Euro 2020 and our hopes for the Three Lions going into Qatar 2022. Our main discussion though centres around some early predictions we have for the 20 teams in the 2021/22 Premier League season and where we think they will end up. We also touch on some players we'd like to see make some moves and which Premier League teams we think should go for them before Jake makes his worst outro yet.
Running Order:
- England Euro 2020 summary (36 secs)
- Very early 2021/22 Prem Predictions (8 mins, 3 secs)
- Team grades (50 mins, 6 secs)

The (early) end of season review
After a month away, we return with the best comeback since Istanbul '05 with our Premier League season review (who cares if its before the season ends!)
We pick our teams of the season and give out our prestigious awards that the players are obviously hungry for, interrupted by rants regarding our flops of the season. Finally we also discuss our school style grades for the 20 Premier League teams' seasons (spoiler: Sheffield United didn't get an A).
(Apologies for any audio issues you hear in this episode, we don't rival Joe Rogan's production budget after all)
Running Order:
- Team of the season (52 secs)
- Season awards (43 mins, 43 secs)
- Team grades (71 mins, 30 secs)

What to do about Ole?
We take a look at England's disastrous U21 Euros campaign, discussing where it went wrong this time (and potentially in the past), and also have a look at the senior team and how they are shaping up for the Euros. We also look at Manchester United, discussing potential ins and outs, their new director of football and what to do with Ole's contract. And finally we briefly talk about the departing Sergio Aguero: where we'd like to see him next and where his legacy stands amongst the all time great Premier League strikers.

Upsetting the apple cart
We answer your questions from social media. We each pick a team we will be backing for glory at this summer's Euros, a new member is inducted into the 'Hall of Fame' and we look at Pochettino's time at PSG so far. (Oh, and something about apple carts??)
