In this episode, we revisit a very special conversation with suicide survivor and suicide prevention advocate, Kevin Berthia. You may know about Kevin from his very public suicide attempt at the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. It was a turning point that transformed his life.
We talk with Kevin about how he copes with pain, overcoming much of his struggles so that he can embrace life to the fullest. Kevin is on a mission to inspire others to break their silence and reach out for help when they need it most. His motto: everyone has a why.

He personally understands the importance of therapy after the sudden loss of his mother in 2013. Prior to Mental Health Match, Ryan was a strategic communications consultant for nonprofit organizations which is an experience he still draws on in his current role.
