The limited docuseries, EXPEDITION FROM HELL: THE LOST TAPES, uncovers a doomed expedition through the Amazon led by a charismatic guide with unclear motives.  The series unfolds a stranger-than-fiction story of Mickey Grosman, a former special forces demolitions expert who took a group of amateur adventurers on a nearly impossible journey across South America. Positioned as a charity trek for cancer awareness, participants were to be part of a 5,000-mile expedition across the continent through the deepest parts of the Amazon jungle. Only one claims to have made it to the end…Mickey Grosman.
David Freid serves as executive producer for the limited series. My performance on terrestrial radio and with podcasting have required its share of sacrifices.  Yet the rolling stone has collected no moss.  It’s always been growing forward.  I’m not convinced that it’s my calling.  Radio and podcasting are platforms.  A gallery is an outlet for artists.  Breaking down what’s calling you is a journey because it explains why we are, but is it the real source or push to keep walking? We spend so much time chasing dreams that we forget to take the time to craft the calling.  Too much of what we do falls into place.  Did it come with a price?  If not, isn’t that stealing?

Research shows that trees and shrubs do not defuse sound. They absorb it. Sound moves through a collection of tree 13 times faster than other areas. I wonder then, when I hear music from the other side of this forest what am I sending to them? Rarely do I have music playing outside. But I have thoughts. A full display of my mental transistions.

The Spinners had another classic hit single, "Working My Way Back To You," topping the Pop and R&B charts, earning the group its twelfth gold record. Since forming in 1889, Orange County, California has become famous all over the world for being home to such popular attractions as Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I bump into more people struggling with how retail stores are quick to jump onto the next holiday. Are we too set in our way to have to rush to put stuff away? I keep my Christmas tree up all year. Life is a gift therefore Christmas is everyday! What if we did the same with Halloween or President's day. A bed mattress would always be on sale.

The things that keep us young. Discovering new music! So many of us are relying on the oldies to take us back to a past we think we love but complain when the radio DJ says their favorite song is 50 plus years old. Which means you're old. Not when you're locked in on always locating new artists and songs.

How we grow is determined by how much we pour into the activation. We must believe in the purpose. That doesn't mean we can't question. That's where lessons are planted. We must learn to nurture the soil that which brings us joy. The calling is to be real with our hearts and ambitions. To be ready to outreach.

The geography speaks for itself. The bad guys are just kilometers away, across the river. We are the only international (or locals) with a brick and mortar office downtown, for them to go for help. No assistance from govt unless elderly, and the assistance they get is shit.
Office safe from “normal” shelling (tank fire, most mortars). Glide bombs and attack drones are new since Ukrainians landed on other side and have beachhead. Quietly, that is a total massacre over there — poorly kept secret here. can’t do much about the big stuff … if we get hit with a glide bomb we’re fucked. I like our chances.
Mon wed Friday the FREE STORE AT THE FRONT is open at our office. Basic foods medicines hygiene and winter clothes. Mondays we run bread into insanely dangerous places by the Antonivky bridge, do other stuff like that. Off the radar. For city admin. We are an important “off the books asset” for them.

It can be dangerous to be a listener. An emotional sport. Once you make contact with another real person the goal shouldn't be to locate a new BFF. You've captured a moment of time. A place of receiving. Now let it move through you to another person. We've eased up as a generation on our ways to make real people connections. Mainly because there's no more room for a BFF. So we've turned off our reason to just be with someone. It's an interesting world. It's time to listen to it.

Putting ourselves in the right frame of mind requires compartmentalizing. Not an easy walk. I envision it being like the computer folders where we store data. The first step is always giving the folder a name. I've always treated them like book titles. The items in the computer folder should be connected to the information stored. I believe we do it mentally. We store our emotions and dreams inside folders with book title names and can never relocate them. Putting ourselves in the right frame of mind means taking the secrecy out of the reason why a folder was made. Call out your folder for what it is.

Additionally, Talaria Media is now developing a new comedy series loosely based on stories from Mark Greene’s book “Unsealed” as well as writer and director Jamie Anderson’s own life and relationship with her father, who was himself a veteran. The official logline for the series states it is “about a retired Navy SEAL struggling to adjust to civilian life after he’s forced to work at a new age spiritual center with his estranged daughter.”

Wyn Starks is already well-known for his 2022 appearance on America’s Got Talent and his Black Is Golden album, with songs like “Who I Am” garnering 11.5 million YouTube views and charting #14 on the Billboard charts. The Curb Records signee’s journey began in Minneapolis, where he grew up with his mother and siblings. He listened to a wide variety of music, from the gospel harmonies of artists like Yolanda Adams and The Clark Sisters to Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. Starks then moved to Dallas, where a viral video of him singing caught the attention of producer and songwriter Fred Williams, who invited Starks to Nashville to work on music together.
He released his debut single “Circles” in 2019 and crafted his 2021 Black Is Golden. Starks spent the majority of 2023 prepping his sophomore album while out on the road with Delta Rae. The new project is a mesh of his R&B and soul influences, but will also be imbued with elements of pop, 80s rock, and other sounds that radiate his preferred vibe of timeless, feel-good music.

Tom Garvey, an Airborne, Ranger and Special Forces qualified officer, served as an A-Team Leader in Viet Nam in 1968 and returned home to mixed reviews about his stability and state of mind. Like many other Viet Nam Veterans, he found few who cared to hear about his time overseas.
