Throughout my career, I experienced the challenge of finding the right path & the desire to be authentic. Transitioning from clinical medicine, I struggled to find role models & turned inward to explore how mindfulness could guide me. My hope is to provide an inspiring light to doctors who want to free their inner selves, cultivate calm & balance, do medicine differently and make a bigger impact in the world.

In addition to being a GP clinical tutor, contributing to the teaching faculty in Swansea, Helen is also expanding her expertise as a GP by developing her specialist interest in Lifestyle Medicine.

Ally is cofounder of Nutritank, a medical student network connecting and empowering students and healthcare workers who want to expand their nutrition and lifestyle medicine knowledge. 

Ally is also a current NHS Clinical Entrepreneur and is continuing to weave her love of food, nutrition and mental health into her clinical career.

Susy is trained as a TimeToThink coach and supervisor and currently shares her expertise as Associate Dean and Coaching Lead for Health Education Yorkshire and Humber.

In addition to her amazing roles in medical education and leadership, Susy is also the founder of Hestia Blankets, her textile studio creating beautiful Harris Tweed blankets.

Cheryl is the host of The Mindfull Medic Podcast and explores the lived experience of colleagues, mentors and other healthcare professionals in her episodes who have inspired her through her clinical career. 

In this episode, Cheryl shares how her passions in emergency medicine, sports medicine and lifestyle medicine are combining in her career path and has provided her opportunities to contribute to workplace wellbeing. 

Cheryl has developed her expertise in yoga and yoga therapy and is supporting her colleagues to improve their health and wellbeing and incorporate aspects of self-care and self-regulation into their lives.

Cheryl also chats about connecting to nature, trail running and the sense of community and acceptance that can come from moving together.

Yoga has always been part of Arpita's daily life. Growing up in India Arpita was living yoga from morning until bed without defining it as yoga. Arpita believes that yoga is a lifestyle and can teach us how to live our lives and to get to know ourselves better.  In March 2020 Arpita felt a need to serve the community and to provide support to healthcare professionals working on the frontline. Arpita has a Facebook Group Thriving not Surviving Healthcare Professionals where is able to support people to find peace and calm while they are serving the community.  Arpita's mission is to create a thriving healthcare professionals community around the world.
