Psalms 46:10, Be still and know that I am God. We are accustomed to being constantly in motion. To sit is to be idle and no productive. God reveals Himself and speaks when we quiet our thoughts and breathe.

What does it mean to be truthful with oneself? How do we overcome being our own obstacle to our own success?  ATKW is discussing this with Dr. Malaika Brown.  We can not often see how we deceive ourselves.  We need a purpose filled life.  Dr. Brown shares tools to lift us above the negative voices even our own to be our authentic selves.

We never would admit that we lie to ourselves but we do all the time. Love yourself, tell yourself the truth.

We want a world filled with love. We can‘t see love focusing in hate. We’ll learn what love is from 1 Corinthians 13:4. Let’s talk about love.

We are born with a purpose.  As a Christ follower, I believe he gives us tools to tap into our divine nature.  These gifts awaken our life and help us take the spiritual journey of self-discovery. We have gifts that will make this world a better place to live in.  Listening to others as they follow their path helps us to focus on the right steps for ourselves.  

Karen Windom-Gatling is the special guest. She is a musician, sing writer/arranger, artist, and entrepreneur. She will discuss how she remains open to creativity.
