Krista Bora is a 2014 graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) with a degree in Advertising & Marketing Communications and started her career working in magazine publishing and media sales. She engaged in all things fashion when she lived in New York City for 7 years and then began teaching fitness at Surfset New York City as a side hustle to her full-time desk job. Upon moving back to her hometown of Burlington, VT in October 2017 for scoliosis surgery in February 2018 after experiencing complications, her life drastically transitioned her to working in health and fitness as her main jam. She graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) with a specialization in Gut Health in November 2019. She founded her business, HEALTHbites in December 2019 where she showcases on her Instagram ways to incorporate quick doses for optimal health for those with busy, active lifestyles. Krista now incorporates her creative business skills with all things health & wellness. She uses her Surfset Fitness training to incorporate the HIIT format in her group fitness classes as she is also a 305 Fitness certified instructor as of May 2020.

Cherie’s journey of becoming a Wellness and Lifestyle Coach is not what you would call the “norm”, highlighted with the ever-growing demands we all face in a very chaotic society. Interview with Lakeisha Norsworthy, Owner of Bodies of Glory Fitness
Lakeisha currently resides in Dallas, TX. She is 42 years old and a believer in Christ. Lakeisha is a Certified Health Coach and Personal Trainer. She has worked in the gym environments, ran a city sponsored boot camp program, designed and ran a Biggest Loser challenge for family and friends, and offered 1 on 1 in home training services to clients. She developed a love for wellness and fitness through her own struggles with weigh but was able to go from weighing 388.7 pounds to now weighing 160 pounds. She has been able to successfully maintain for more than 15 years. Her passion is to help people change their lives by getting to the root of unhealthy habits and overcome them, so they can live a more fulfilling and healthy lifestyle.

Heidi Smith is a certified integrative nutrition health coach, certified corporate wellness specialist and certified meeting professional. Prior to changing careers into the health and wellness industry, she was a leader in the convention and meeting industry for more than 25 years. She is founder and chief executive officer of the Integrative Wellness Studio in Oak Park, Illinois.
