The Balding Fraud Podcast: Episode 10.

After 10 long weeks, series one comes to an end in the perfect fashion. With the first set of restrictions lifted this week, it's time to say goodbye for a few weeks. To sign off the series, Knight and Shah talk about how much they miss the experience of watching live football with a little help from friend of the show James Knowles. Together, they reminisce about some of the funnier away days they have had both at home and abroad and what they are most looking forward to doing once fans are allowed to return to stadiums.
The lads also pick their Fraud of the series, as we look back at some of the best entrants over the last 2 and a half months.
Series one has been a blast and the boys can't wait to get started again in the build up to the Euros! Settle back for one last time before the pubs reopen for the finale of the Balding Fraud Podcast.

The Balding Fraud Podcast: Episode 9

Euro 2021 is only 100 days away!  So with that in mind the lads pick our 23 man England squad for the tournament.  Once again disagreements will enter the frame as Knight and Shah debate the balance to England's midfield, the back up centre half and which striker Southgate should pick who offers something just a little bit different.  The boys also provide an update as to who is winning the Premier League XI poll and voice their opinions on the heated Roy Keane vs Jamie Redknapp moment from the weekend.

Which referee will go up against a certain ex Arsenal and Barcelona legend for Fraud of the Week!

Join us for the penultimate episode of the series!

The Balding Fraud Podcast: Episode 8

This week, we debate our all time Premier League XI.  With an agreed 4-3-3 formation, you would think this would be straightforward.  However, it is certain that there will be disagreements.  Will Shah and Knight agree on the best team for a combined XI?  How many Liverpool players will end up in Shah's team?  Someone has to miss out, so which legends are forced to take the plunge?  Chelsea fans may have to look away...

The pair also take a look at the impact of Fantasy Football and an inadvertent violation of Covid-19 rules in our Fraud of the Week.

Settle in for Episode 8 of The Balding Fraud Podcast.

The Balding Fraud Podcast: Episode 7

Fresh from our interview with Simon Cox, we have decided to go back to basics and talk about our favourite Cult Heroes!  Shah and Knight reflect on their memories of players who might not have always grabbed the headlines but gave 100% week in, week out.  With a few club stalwarts and gaffe prone Centre Backs in for good measure, the boys laugh about the bitterness that has followed one of these players from Arsenal fans, and how a New Years Day away trip to Plymouth was made memorable by a goal from Knight's favourite Swindon Cult Hero.

What unsavoury moment of the Club World Cup goes up against Shah exposing the 'hardest man in football' in this week's edition of Fraud of the Week.

The final stages of Lockdown are nearly upon us, so why not join us for that ride on the Balding Fraud Podcast.

The Balding Fraud Podcast: Episode 6 with Simon Cox

We are delighted to welcome our first guest onto the Podcast.  Simon Cox is an ex Premier League and International Striker for West Brom and the Republic of Ireland.  He has also had a distinguished career in the Football League at clubs like Reading, Southend (where he finished as the club's top scorer three season's running) and of course Henry Knight's beloved Swindon Town.  He now plies his trade with the Western Sydney Wanderers, swapping the cold winters of England for the chance to play in sunny Australia.

We ask Simon about the trials and tribulations of his career at the top level, from winning promotion with West Brom to a 4-0 defeat against the all conquering Spain team in Euro 2012.  Simon also tells us his best 5-a-side team of players he's played with and reveals the weirdest and most surreal moments in a career that has spanned over 15 years.

It promises to be our most exciting episode yet!!!

The Balding Fraud Podcast: Episode 5

It's Episode 5 and we have just had Deadline Day!!!!  We talk about some of this month's deals in an otherwise uneventful window and recount some of the more famous or infamous deals that happened or may never have happened.

Liverpool have finally won a game which has certainly pleased Shah, but it's not all light at the end of the tunnel as Knight reveals the on-goings of the traumatic week for his club Swindon Town.  There is also a Spurs bashing session for Football fans everywhere and a good old laugh at United for their loss last week (sadly recorded prior to their 9-0 hammering of Southampton).

And what episode of The Balding Fraud Podcast would be complete without our Fraud of the Week.  Will a European Giant cement their fall from grace by taking this week's prize?

The Balding Fraud Podcast: Episode 3

Episode 3 is all about our greatest games.

The boys love Jamie Carragher's The Greatest Game Podcast, so they've decided to feature what they believe is the greatest game they have seen live or on television.  Putting the bias of their own clubs to one side, they remember where they were when watching the game and reflect on what it meant to football.

Shah expresses his disappointment in the drab 0-0 draw between Manchester United and Liverpool as the champions drop more points in the title race.

And stand by for an embarrassing financial mishap by a certain Serie A club in our fraud of the week.

Kick back in lockdown with episode 3 of The Balding Fraud Podcast.
