Ep. 93: We are in the doldrums of the offseason but that does not mean LIFE has not been happening! Jack and JC dust off the cobwebs on our mics to catch up with how the summer has been going for both of us. We congratulate podcast guest alum Marc on his wedding as JC was one of his groomsmen and traveled to LA for the festivities. It is wedding season indeed as Jack also divulges some info about his own wedding planning. Lastly we give some insider tips and tricks on embarking on a family trip to Disneyland. Ep. 92: Here we are! What almost seemed improbable when we started this podcast many years ago when the Golden State Warriors lost to the Toronto Raptors and the super team disbanded (Ahem KD left) as well as Klay suffering 2 catastrophic injuries, well as KG said "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!". The Golden State Warriors are the 2022 NBA Champions with Stephen Curry being named the Finals MVP. JC reflect on the journey to the chip and the ups and downs. What has this all meant to him and all the diehard Warrior fans out there? Enjoying the shine and getting to the top of the mountain is all part of the journey for a fan. From the Lakers winning the 2020 NBA championship to now in 2022 the dubs claiming their hardware, this podcast has come full circle. WHAT A JOURNEY!

Ep. 90: Has it come full circle for this podcast? Your boys, JC and Jack started the Ball VS Life in 2019 with the Warriors advancing to the Finals against the Raptors, but after a devastating KD achilles tear in Game 5 of the series the Raptors seized control and the KLAW was crowned the champ. Then came more bad news the next 2 years as Klay suffered back to back potential career ending injuries sending JC into a spiral of sadness. Fast forward to 2022 and the DUBS are back in business and in the FINALS! What a journey it has been. Tune in as JC and Jack break down the Western conference semis as well as the Eastern conference semis and what to look forward to one of the most exciting finals to date. We also break down the thrilling game 1 of the NBA conference semis between the Experienced OG Warriors vs the Gen Z Memphis Grizzlies. Ep. 87: Here we are at the best time of the NBA season and that's the NBA playoffs, where the stakes are the highest of highs. The Lakers on the other hand have gone fishing and Jack of the BvL boys breaks down what the hell happened to one of the most catastrophic Lakers seasons to date. Of course we enlist JC, hardcore life long dubz diehard, to break down the upcoming Warriors vs Nuggets 1st round playoff matchup. Who will be made the joker? Ep. 86: We are back in action after a small hiatus because LIFE > Ball recently. We catch up and talk about a recent OLD MAN Bachelor party that Jack was on. Of course how can we not cover the SLAP heard around the world. You simply can't script the wild night at the Oscar's or can you? Ep. 85: We dem BVL boys and we are back to talk shop. On slate for this episode we breakdown Jack's clutch recommendation to JC of "Jeen-yuhs" (the Kanye West doc) on Netflix. It's an unexpected throwback and walk down hip-hop memory lane. Of course we had to go from Jeen-yuhs to Jeen-duds in updating the current state of the Lakers and Warriors as they are the 2 biggest struggling teams in the NBA that matched up with each other and it took a superhuman effort of 37 yr old Lebron James dropping 56 big ones to pull off a win. Let us soak in our current misery in hopes of better days to come.

Ep. 84: Well well well, to the victor goes the spoils and LA is about them SPOILS. The Rams spoiled the niners chances and let the real AD stand up as Aaron Donald, Stafford, and Coop Kupp and da boys come up clutch with the game winning drive and game winning sack to seal the deal with the ALL-IN season. JC begrudgingly congratulates the Rams and Jack does brings that Buffer level hype. We also talk about the Super Bowl halftime show as the theme of this year's super bowl is all about nostalgia with that Cali LOVE. Of course we end the episode talking shop about all the NBA trade deadline drama as we break down the blockbuster trade between BKN and Philly. Also WTH are the Kangz doing?

Ep. 83: 2021 brought us an epic Bay Vs LA matchup of the Dodgers VS the Giants in the MLB playoffs. 2022 has not disappointed in bringing another Bay VS LA matchup with the stakes equally as high as the LA Rams and the SF Niners clash in the NFC Championship game to see who gets to punch their ticket to the super bowl. The game was epic and went down the wire. In this episode JC and Jack react and discuss the fallout of the Rams edging out the Niners in what has been one of the greatest NFL playoffs ever seen. We also discuss a surprise NBA All-star starter this year in Andrew Wiggins who is repping the Bay along with Steph Curry. Who was snubbed? Does Wiggins deserve it?

Ep. 82: Here we go, BvL bros biweekly recording schedule is intact despite the world still being a complete mess. Whether it's 2019 or 2020 or 2221 and now 2022 does it even matter anymore? Ep. 81: Happy New Year! Happy 2022! The BvL bros, Jack and JC, took a holiday break just as health and safety protocols have ravaged the NBA by storm, but we are BACK in action as we have cleared our own protocols. We catch up with talking about our old man approach to the holidays and New Year's eve as well as break down where the Warriors and Lakers are through another COVID catastrophe season of the NBA. With the Warriors still at the top of the standings and the Lakers at the opposite of the end of the spectrum barely holding water can the Lakers, Warriors, and the friggin NBA get through this season to the promise land? We shall see... as the imminent return of Klay Thompson is just around the corner.

Ep. 79: Happy Thanksgiving Ya'll! Your boys are back at it, talking shop. How hard is it to cop a Nintendo Switch before the holidays? JC regales us with his target shopping story as a fellow shopper went all Beef Stew charging into the store. Of course that only means we had to break down what happened with the KING vs Beef Stew Round 1 and the suspensions that were handed down. Lastly with the Warriors STILL at the TOP of all the NBA, Jack begrudgingly gives JC the floor to bask in the glory yet again. This is all before more impending doom with Klay gearing up to make his triumphant return.

Ep. 77: The first week of the NBA season has already passed so BvL gets straight into breaking down the Warriors' California sweep beating Jack's beloved Lakers on opening day, as well as the Sac Kangz, and Clip city, leading up to a 4-0 record, best in the NBA! The Lakers on the other hand dropped their first 2, but won a thriller against the Spurs to pull to a 2-2 record. Tune in as we reflect on what this all means for both our respective teams and what to look forward to as the season progresses.
